Did get to see the system that Tony Fast put his air seeder. He was having humidity and dust issues. Not to many air drills in Illinois. Only big planters.
Hi from Australia Mike. Let the tractor do it’s job. Set cruise speed then engine drop to 30% and let it drive its self. Only set engine speed when using pto. That’s how they were designed to be used.
I noticed that the glass in the back window, makes the tires look like they grow taller at different angles 😂. When will we see you use that Case steiger?
Fendt has a high torque low rpm concept. They did it together with MAN in the big machines, now they are building AGCO engines for the lower classes with a similar concept
@@Rcod2013 We have around 30 Hektar here in Germany which is a joke, so i let other people judge which is the better Fendt engine, i'll just do my thing here and wait if it works out or not
Mike I don’t know how you do it. Two farms that distance apart. I had land 10 miles from home and thought that was crazy. Lol How the moisture between the two farms? We have lots here.
I farm near a dairy. They take netwrap off before alfalfa is ground. I guess the wrap affects nutrient absorption and milk production. I would never have thought that.
I know some guys just grind the bales without removing it and then eventually you have to Cut/ melt it off all the rollers and bearing and knives. It’s a complete mess and I just laugh we I see it. It take 30 seconds to remove net wrap instead of hours cutting it off the rollers. 🤦♂️
Hi from Australia. I took over management of a farm for new owner here about 25 years ago. I found old carcass of a cow that had a huge ball of net wrap in its first stomach area which would have killed it in a long lingering death. THATS why you have to take of the net. The previous manager was lazy and would not take of the net whenever he fed bales to the cattle.

Gotta love when Mike signs off and then says "Alright I'm back"... Personally I like the longer videos.
So do I !!
Me too!!!
I agree
Agreed
The deep growl of this MAN engine is so relaxing. I love to watch cab shots of the 1167. I'd fall asleep to this sound in the cab, haha.
I, for one, would LOVE hour long episodes from this guy!!!!! C'mon ppl!
Are you bored
@@kenhofer8063 I enjoy the content

Hello Mike good seeding con fendet 1167 MT 💪👍🇮🇹
Great video. You did not tell uia about your new tires for your seeder. I hope you have a fantastic day.
Nice!
Those drill tires!
They look awesome hey.
They look like wheel loader tires.
Yes Mike any jobs come harvest time 😊
Mike Mitchell, a good man in dire need of a pocket knife. 🤣 You soooo silly!
Adios amigos! Hahaha saludos desde mexico🇲🇽
Removing the tangled baler twine from the shank must bring back days when you had cattle and the twine got caught on everything.

The MAN D38/42 is designed to pull at 1100-1200 rpm, that s how the rear axle ratio of a truck is defined, 90 km/h speed meets 1100- 1150 rpm…
Le fend 1067 à chenille et le semoirs et la cuve pour les semance est bien équipés 😮😊😂
Good luck Mike...

Any mistake we have is always by the highway lol spraying or seedling
Doesn't matter where you start - problems only occur by the highway.
That blade looks like a giant parachute for that tractor and I'm sure it feels like it
Some different tires on the drill there
That knife is just Technis waiting to happen 😂
ok
I noticed that the glass in the back window, makes the tires look like they grow taller at different angles 😂.

Hi
I see that he has new front main frame tires. Look pretty good. Did I miss Mike talking about them or has he not discussed them?
Yes a few vids back, put the old tyres from this drill onto his south drill.
@@farmernige I saw that vid - he said he was going to talk about these new front tires up north when he got there.
Lol… “ya wanna fight”
Mike have you looked at the John Deere 9R 640 i believe they are 690hp max.
Run trying keep from getting stuck at 4 mile an hour.
Mike, I just don't get RPMS? On the other hand, I love RPM.
How long do they seed for at south farm. You don't have to finish south before doin your own?
I See New Tires on the Drill but didn't see a Video about it ? Mike, U told us about those big Tires... Where is the Video ???
How many acres do you seed on the north farm
Time to swap for the refresh 9RX?
Mike says sir you scratched my tank sir!! Lee should’ve then said stop recording on your phone and help!!
But then how will we get to see it on RUclips??
@@crandonborth true I guess I wasn’t thinking when I wrote that so yeah he shouldn’t say anything because I like the videos!!
@@christopheronstott2358 Haha… me too!!
So those are the new tires on the drill? Are they Nokian?

I guess the urea at the plant near the larsons is so plugged they are going to use explosives to free it 😂
Is there any conflict with Canola if you are growing brown mustard?
Have to be super careful!
What GPS signal do you use? ¿SF1, SF3 o RTK?
No mike, longer videos!
When will you get stuck??
On the stuckteenth
I'd worry about canola blowing off poorly tarped trucks traveling that highway more than someone seeing a plugged run or a wavy pass.
With all the work that you did on that land I hope you're not paying much for rent
Only people with a short attention span like short videos.
1400 rpm? Wow. Seems low. Thing must have some pull

@@pfamkuchen thanks for the reply. Very interesting
Here in Australia they are still using the duetz motors in 700 series. I feel that going any other brand would be going backwards.

😆 Mike = tired as I am back home helping seeding again! But it's good moisture at home and could use rain north.
No reason for netwrap and twine to be spread all over the place. Netwrap comes off before it hits the bale shredder here.
Place I work litters it and plastic silage wrap all over the place. That and wire. Annoys me a lot.

That's like sonne farms..they are to lazy to take it off and just grind and feed it to the cows
Hi Mike would you ever think about getting a Big BuD
Let me answer for him: No.
Unlikely as he doesn’t have any dealer available to service them.
Keep them short
