How to Install a Stair Runner

  • I have been wanting to do this project for a LONG time!
    We finally mustered up the courage to DIY our stair runner and I am SO GLAD we did, because it looks amazing!
    All in all we spent about 6 hours doing this project, and other than the runner itself, we spent about $350 on the needed tools! That was a major savings in comparison to the quote we got for 5 THOUSAND bucks!

    Staples should not be visible. You should have used a gripper rod and underlay

      No that would be visible from the sides, stair runners are meant to be stapled in, they did it right. They just chose the hardest runner to hide staples on.. however there are metal rods you can use that hide the staples and holds the carpet in, it makes it look very dapper
