Walk with me | Ep. 01 - Udaipur, Rajasthan | Just Arrived To An Exquisite Udaipur Afternoon | India

[e-mail] | Udaipur, Rajasthan, India | Dec, 2023: This video starts at the Udaipur airport just a few minutes after I landed to this historical capital of the once princely state of Mewar. The region of Mewar and city of Udaipur today sit in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Udaipur is a place that is steeped in history, culture, architecture and Mewar Rajput traditions.
From the airport we start our road journey across the historical Aravalli Range and soon travese the distance to the hotel where I will stay stay for the coming few days. The hotel and the area around it feel especially calming and relaxing after a morning of rushed travel from Delhi. We spend time taking in the views and talking about the rich culture and history of the region of Mewar.
We soon take a break to enjoy some light and delicious Rajasthani food which refreshes the picture of amazing Rajasthani hospitality and culinary traditions in our minds. Rajasthan has been always known for its tourism and its delicious food. After a satisfying meal and tea we step out into the balmy winter afternoon of Udaipur. This video ends as we travel into the city. The next one will feature our first explorations of this beautiful city of Rajasthan, India.
