Thanks for this, I can relate to a lot that you said. My favorites are from PS1 era, favorite being FF7, for a multitude of reasons. FF games have definitely affected a lot, FF7 for example explores such deep range of serious subjects, that have parallers to real world issues, find it therapeutic in some sense as well.
I didn't know anything about Final Fantasy until the night Sephiroth showed up out of nowhere for my favorite game since childhood, Super Smash Bros., for its finale, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, in December 2020. Thanks to the character's inclusion, I've become a HUGE fan of Sephiroth and his home series, wanting to know everything I could about the character who easily won me over. I'm a massive die-hard fan of the FF series, but I've only seen FFVII Crisis Core Reunion, Remake and the new trailers for Rebirth and some clips of Crisis Core and Advent Children. Sephiroth is most definitely my favorite FFVII antagonist! PS: I was harassed, threatened and bullied so much by the P5 fandom {Persona 5 'fans'} in 2016-2019 in AO3 that I eventually left the toxic fandom in 2020 right when Sephiroth was announced for Ultimate. And I couldn't have been any more happier with my decision.
Ya, the FF fans are one of the best gamers to be honest. You have old and young people who experienced the life of FF games. When FF7 remake was announced, some people were in tears and the amount of strength it took to hold on to the series is awesome. Thanks for commenting! :D
Beautiful video and perfectly spot on that the older FF titles just are a million miles better due to their complexity. My top 2 Final Fantasy games are Final Fantasy VIII and IX and along with "Grandia", "Xenoblade Chronicles 1 + 3" and "Lufia - Rise of the Sinistrals" I consider them to be the very best RPG's planet earth has ever been graced with. And though they might not have SAVED my life, they for sure did CHANGE my life for the better, since due to a Squall Leonhart Cosplay on gamescom 2012 and a related search for a Rinoa Cosplay partner, that search was the reason I met the wonderful and beautiful woman I have two likewise wonderful and beautiful beautiful sons with ❤
Yup. I changed the title for the video. I realized changed is a better word! Those are some pretty good titles, specially grandia. I never played Lufia but I heard good things! That's the greatest story I've heard about meeting a partner! Congrats!

I’m more of a Kingdom Hearts fan. But if I had to pick something from FF it would probably be CC: FF7
I use to play KH. Last one I played was the second one. Pretty solid game.
