How to Turn Off Notifications for a Chat in WhatsApp (iOS users)
In WhatsApp, you have the option to mute notifications for a specific chat. To do so, all you need to do is open a chat window with the person you wish to mute. Tap on their name and then tap Mute. Choose the length for turning off the notifications. Now you will receive their messages however no ringtone or notification will come through!
To turn the mute off, tap on Mute again and select unmute.
