Dear 2050: What will water professionals achieve by then?

AWWA Deputy CEO Paula MacIlwaine has set forth a big challenge to future water professionals: To continue providing vital services that support quality of life in communities around the world.
At ACE23, letters penned by 10 water leaders will be placed in a time capsule addressed to the water community of 2050.
In her time capsule letter, MacIlwaine wrote:
“Your community may be a small town or a city of millions, but safe and sufficient water are always needed. In 2050, you will fulfill what we could only dream about today. I challenge you to continue the cycle of passing on knowledge to future generations.”
