Weyes Blood's angelic vocals deserve more credit
I guess it paid off when she took off early to go cheat her way through film school.

what I love about this song is how it’s coming from Weyes Blood and FJM, two people who were raised in very religious households. It gives the song subject so much dimension and humanity
Wow, this is one of those videos where it's hard to even imagine how they pulled this off. One shot during dawn, no visible cuts, so many variables with people/cars in the background. Directed by Emma Tillman too. Fantastic job.

In love with this song since 19th june 2018. Actually last song I played while walking all alone in the streets at night before COVID.
He is walking west on the East Village, NYC, on E 4th St, at dawn. He turns south on the corner with Bowery then flies away on the corner of Bowery and E 3rd St.
Listening to this song takes me back to just walking around the city at night, doing nothing, just walking and enjoying the atmosphere that the night brought. How people kept living and doing their jobs despite the nightfall. It was calming. Relaxing almost.
