I remember going there in 1973 and it was a lot different lol every morning you would get the loud speakers at 7.30am telling you to get up and get your breakfast in this huge food hall and everybody was fighting to get there breakfast and you had what you were given to eat and the accommodation was awful so it's looking great now 😊
I would cry if someone woke me up with a loud speaker at 7:30am 😂

I am going to Minehead next week 19th, can't wait, we just have a bungalow this time but last year we had a lake view gl17, it was at the edge overlooking the old standard rooms but yours looked much better,!hope you have a great time xx
We had a lovely weekend thank you. The west lakes chalets are lovely and we were lucky with the position of ours apart from the 500 mile walk to the skyline haha! Have a great time next week xx
What a fab look at minehead butlins! Can't wait for part 2! My sister likes the caramel chicken from chopstix it's not for me lol. They are building a play experience centre like they have at bognor I don't know when it will be ready but bognor opens in September. Thank you for sharing those chalets look lovely! X

That was the only chicken we didn’t try I just thought it would be too sweet. Chopsticks was a winner though, the food was lovely. I did see them working on the play experience but there’s no date mentioned when it will open xx

Do they put things in place for special needs kids, ie queues etc my son would not like queues
To be honest I’m not sure. When we were there they didn’t have any queues so didn’t really notice if they have something in place.
