This is close to the type of content I want to see in the actual games. Imagine the game actually teaching you about blocking then putting you in a match where all you can do is block...and then REWARDING you for doing it. This kind of thing would go a long way in getting people to understand the flow of battle in FGs as well as what they should be doing and when. Looking forward to the intermediate!
That's why I love fighting games. Remember when I started playing Blazblue had to spend hours in training and then arcade mode on higher difficulties. Then I was a decent online player sometimes a win or lose but enjoy a lot Blazblue games with the exception of tag battle.
This seems like a good way to teach the mechanics without suffocating new players in exact ways to apply techniques etc. etc. It teaches awareness of your resources instead of ways to use them. Got Vorpal? Chain Shift! Got EXS? Use it! Doesn't matter! Learn one combo and your muscle memory will take you through it, I really like this way of teaching a game with so many different little things to keep track of.
Thank you for this, I just started playing fighting games and maining Enkidou. I haven't even done the intermediate tutorials and combos before i started playing with my 5 head friends.
Exacta! One of my favorite thing and main reason about playing games like Blazblue, Guilty Gear or Under Night is that it feels like playing anime action scene.
Oh boy I am glad to find helpful videos because I just got this game and I love it. Started with Tekken and GG and now UNIST. It is awesome. Your videos are really helpful.
NigongoGamer just wondering if you have gone through Chronicles Mode and Arcade Mode in Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late [cl-r] to know the story of each character.
i just got it on PS4. im looking to get into the game but i don't have any friends that like playing fighting games Is there a discord for this game? Also which platform is best for this game? PS4, PC, switch? thanks for any help anyone can give me
Best way to find the uni discord is to google it :) I’ve used it for finding resources but I’m told by others that use it more that you can also get advice from people and find matches with players there too so give it a shot! Some uni players on the NihongoGamer discord too of course :) Japan tends to prefer play PS4 just because gaming PCs are still less common over here. I believe the west prefers PC but still play PS4 for tournaments. Switch is great for practice but most switch players are more likely to play on WiFi which may make for a less smooth online experience. Have a great time with UNI! You can join me on stream for matches too

Man, this is awesome! But is there any way or any where to find a translation for the intermediate level sequel?
If I get round to doing the intermediate version I’ll explain in a video but otherwise u can find the original in Japanese and try google translate

Do more Undernight content please?
I plan to! Just been busy recently!
Very good tutorial! I will try to apply something like that to learn other games. Could you make one for BBCF? Switching to his basic mechanics.
I'm not super familiar with BBCF myself but you can apply the same concepts to any game and learn the basics quickly!
Looking forward to the intermediate video
got this on sale with gold points for $6 im excited
pretty good tutorial, kinda confused though because both a gauge move and veil off use meter so which one should I prioritize?
You are my little PogChamp
