I upgraded to an Ebay M2 13" base MacBook Air from an M1. After selling the M1 it cost very little to upgrade. Great video video. Like you said the problem is there is very little you can do to fix M series MacBooks without getting very technical. Perhaps buying a couple of damaged M1s and messing around is the way to go?
Hey, great video, these newer Macs with Apple Silicon are sure great! With these Macs, you don't hold option to select boot device, rather you just keep holding down the power button until you see the menu. Hope this helps. Keep up the great work! :)
Go for it. Most of the ones online are about $699 with 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD. I think you got yourself a deal there! Although most of the base model M1’s are selling at about $450. With 8GB of ram. But, you can never go wrong with 16GB!
Apple Silicon Macs you have to hold down the power button upon boot to get to the recovery screen, option booting was an Intel only thing.
lol! Thank you. I never had a silicon Mac so this is a first

"A bigger display is a must" as i'm watching on a 17" MacBook 🤣🤣🤣 yes, I do believe that to be the case

lol! I feel so dumb. Thanks. Never owned or touched a silicon Mac. I only work with Intel 😆
u have to press the power button longer to be able to reset via USB stick
i bough 2019 16' was locked and i bypass unlocked 😊
Hey mate, would you be able to sell your old mac with reasonable price on ebay or smth? Would it be possible?
Tossing the MacBook Air away, lmao. But yes, a bigger display is definitely a must! 14" MacBook Pro even over the 13" Air.
Cases on MacBoos are known to damage their hinges.
I have an incase hardshell on my MacBook. Not an issue after 2 years :)
I had a case on my 2019 for years. No issues. Plus not having a case is known to damage the MacBook 😆😁
@@JaydonWalterplease suggest good macbook cases
I also have that MacBook configuration in midnight.
It's a great machine, i just go insane over the fingerprints 😂
I’m keeping my MacBook Air 2019
Im torn between 14 or 16 inch macbook pro
I would get the 14, 16 inches has issues with going into back packs but maybe consider a 15" air you can always spec it up for more performance
I wouldn’t recommend using isopropyl alcohol on MacBooks or directly on any computers.
I have been using it for many years.
We're all surprised that this is your first M chip device 😂 … you're a tech dude we thought you had it all
No 😭 I don’t work on them lol
Yo jayden, what would u say to 600 dollars for an m1 mini with 16gb on RAM and a 512 SSD? im looking to get off of intel soon

@@JaydonWalter thank you! :)
Spend like $80 more and get yourself a M1 MBP I got myself one for $680 in total on ebay but it has 16gb of ram and 256 base storage
@@Pr.2104 I don’t need a laptop tho but thank you
M2 13 inch MacBook air $699 at microcenter, $599 after $100 coupon very good
I think that's only the normal warranty, not AppleCare, so I wouldn't drop it ;)
