What about overweight passengers? A 400 lbs person pays the same for economy class as a 170 lbs person in the same class. They should do something about that.
in about 5 years that same guy will be in another commercial saying "you know...safety for us is number 1! Thats why weve ordered all our planes be disassembled and were going to have washers installed on all the bolts to prevent another carastrophy!!" Hell get an award for being a pillar of the airline industry
glad to see ongoing improvements on a matured aircraft. would one day hope to see more significant upgrades like more composite integration and new advaned engine retrofits on older aircrafts.. eg. genx retrofits for older in service 767.
Even though the 777-300ER has been my favourite plane for years but i still think you guys should start trying to make a plane that airbus couldn't top. Because all the airlines are going for airbus now. The A350 is just as good as the 777 so airlines might order that rather than the 777 in the future.
gee...why didnt anyone else think of that? I think its an amazing idea to leave off intergral parts of the fasteners that hold the entire airplane together! who wouldve thought all these years that we didnt need washers! I always thought they were used to dispwrse the force applied to a greater area in order to prevent the volt from ripping through the piece its holding on or from being damaged when tightened and creating a weak point in the bolt. Wonder why they bothered inventing them? Guess millions of engineers and technicians must all be wrong. Well who cares...at least the airliners will save some gas money..im sure they'l pass the savings in to the consumer right? and hey...if ever a wing rips off or whatever they can always just pull over and call CAA right?
Nice take on fuel efficiency, but one should also take into account, that these highly developed state-of-the-art aircrafts should provide comfort to the passenger, not just capacity. This goes for any modern day airplanes. Profits are there, but one can easily manipulate them for this day and age. 👍
well how do you know its so great if yoube never flown on one? because you read it on the internet? well i got news for you...dont fly on one! i heard theyre throwing away important pieces to save gas money for a higher quarterly profit!
yes because they probably got the government to subsidize it through some stupid environmental grant money and they all paid themselves millions in bonuses afterwards. glad its not my money....oh gee...wait a second...lol
نتقدم بااحر التهاني والمباركه لكل من بوينغ وفريقها والخطوط الجويه القطريه على التعاون بينهما ونجاح الصفقه بينهما في كل ما يخدم سوق السفر والسياحه عبر الارض
Now that's to my liking. Less razz-ma-tazz and more technical detail. Maybe a series of videos some where between fast paced beautiful pictures which are nice to look at and an engineering study. I believe there are many of us out there who want more technically detailed videos so we can learn a bit of aircraft construction, maintenance and operation. KDM
ERW superior rolling resistance...50%...For takeoffs. Screw force accumulation and return to save rubber...Anti Bounce landings. Vacuum pressure supports high frequency in wheel suspension. Have a look US 9,004,120 B2
Samoa airlines weigh passengers - may be all airline should follow this initiative? We weigh our bags and weigh each airplane part, but not passengers...
por, mais alto que uma águia voe,ela tem que descer no solo para tomar agua! a única coisa que elevará o homem ao topo da evoluçao. humanas e a humildade!
So you want the plane to break up in mid air? Glue can't take the stress of flight. Glue will be hard as rock in 38,000 ft so the fuselage will suffer from metal fatigue
You took away the washers!!!! Like they were just a beautification component…. really?? And you use this wig wearing Steven Spielberg lookalike to let people know?? Scary…..
I heard Philippine Airlines 777-300ER is back twice again WITHOUT refuel in one way between manila to USA for 26 hours in each time is 13 hours because PAL 747 was replaced by new largest, strong twin engine 777. I think 777-300ER is the largest and strongest engine in the world because one of the General Electric 90 "GE90" is more powerful efficiency engine that use by an a technology that's why its become more stronger than other jetliner's turbine.
Qasam Wahid what do you mean "don't be a dik?" Because Someone who reply me that can't read and understand his\her opinion\statement before replying me. Thats why I put "huh" on there Cuz I see other comment before. And now his\her comment was delete. So please DON'T JUDGE ME okay!...
It's sad what greed can do to a great company. These managers and CEOs have killed a brand. They will have to really work hard to get the goodwill back
You wanna impress me Boeing ? Get some autothrottles that aren't all over the place when experiencing wave type conditions !!! That was the scariest thing on the 777-200.
NO ! By "all over the place" I am referring to their inability to maintain and hold the set speed. The autothrottles would carry you right into the Vmo clacker if you did not intervene manually - meaning not very effective autothrottles.
"Throw a passenger off. that's another 110 pounds"
Or even better throw an american passenger off. 250 pounds saved

ronald kunwei Why what did I do?
Can't wait for the 777X.
i always loved Boeing
me too...theyre always so quick to get to the crash sites and cover everything up!
+Mike Lazembie right becuase airbus doesnt do the same
1:07 nice show!
Don't let an average american get on board...saves 250 pounds
I didn't know Luke Skywalker started working with airplanes
What about overweight passengers? A 400 lbs person pays the same for economy class as a 170 lbs person in the same class. They should do something about that.
+Fredrik Björklund Fun fact: Samoa Air charges their passengers based on their weight :p
agreed
"To shave off three hundredths of a cent, we've removed the washers!"
777-300ER is most beautiful in the world.
I wait for 777X impatiently.
An incredible amount of detail and precision, truly awesome

For me 777-300ER is one of the best aircrafts
If you get rid of all the washers, how do you prevent the nut from pulling through the skin of the aircraft?
They do engineer for that, just don't tell you
It's dangerous take the things away from under the nut, they can sometimes Pearce the metal and makes holes
THANK YOU!! Someone with common sense!!
+Kevin Young yeah right!! if it was as safe theyd have done it YEARS ago!
MegaIsAFox Engineer's have solved for that. They just don't show you
The B777 is The most beautiful airplane ever !
Their saving 652 pounds on the plane. (If I'm not an idiot)
glad to see ongoing improvements on a matured aircraft. would one day hope to see more significant upgrades like more composite integration and new advaned engine retrofits on older aircrafts.. eg. genx retrofits for older in service 767.
The 777-300ER is my 2nd favorite airplane/airliner with 10 exit doors, the 777-9X will also have 10 exit doors too after the development finish.
Even though the 777-300ER has been my favourite plane for years but i still think you guys should start trying to make a plane that airbus couldn't top. Because all the airlines are going for airbus now. The A350 is just as good as the 777 so airlines might order that rather than the 777 in the future.
I would love to see a change on the entrance stairways it would look really cool

Most beautiful plane ever made!
I love Boeing.

The best aircraft flying to date, in my opinion .. nothing will ever come close!
IF IT IS BOEING, I AM SURELY GOING !
if its not a boeing, im not going.
Lo he
You guys are amazing! :)
Amazing video! Can't wait until I'm able to fly one of these aircrafts.
A truly remarkable, beautiful machine.
I LOVE BOEING. I LOVE 777. The world class Masterpiece of Boeing.
Im an Airbus man but god I love the triple7, by far my favourite Boeing aircraft.
Cool video, really enjoyed it and some interesting information.

Can't wait for the 777X!
B777-300ER is the best
p kill
Love this Jetliner.
These videos are always kind of amazing
777-300ER it's a great plane! It's better than the 747. I wanted to fly on one.
+Dante Emmett I think it is definatly the 747s replacement, like a twin engine version of the jumbo
well how do you know its so great if yoube never flown on one? because you read it on the internet? well i got news for you...dont fly on one! i heard theyre throwing away important pieces to save gas money for a higher quarterly profit!
+Mike Lazembie what's your problem you are just hating on all 777 comments
So, what colors do you guys like on the 777 better? Normal blue Boeing logo or the Sunrise Red livery?
The Boeing 777-300ER, aka 77W is the best plane ever made!
if it too light then will it worst in turbulence ?
By increasing efficiency and eliminating some of the air planes original components from the original design, would it make it less safe ?
Boeing is awesome!!
I went on a 777.200ER form japan france latly it was amazing !
My favorite aircraft...Period.
good video. You gave a how much each part weighs how much does the new jet way in all. also does Boeing plan to do any more spacecraft advancements?
The amount of RnD $$$ that were spent to shave a hundred pounds of weight. Is this cost worth it in the long run?
Yes, actually. Fuel is pretty expensive. :/
yes because they probably got the government to subsidize it through some stupid environmental grant money and they all paid themselves millions in bonuses afterwards. glad its not my money....oh gee...wait a second...lol
is boeing applying this in existing planes or brand new planes??
Brand new
Hands down, the best aircraft there is!
Little things add up!
Im a fan from the 777-300ER and the 747-300ER
Is there a B747-300 ER? Lol.
+Yu Kailun lol
Cnt't wait for the new Kuwait airways B777-300ER :)

I know one day I will have a chance to enter on b787..
Great job Boeing.

멋지네요 ㅎㅎ
Why not upgrade the engines to those used on the 787?
Not powerful enough, and not enough thrust
The 777-300 is longer from nose to tail than the A380 so the 787's engines wold not work on a plane that big.
+BrianYYH 😠😈😴😴😉😯😯
+Kevin Young what about the ones that are on A330neo
b
Sounds like you're compromising safety, Boeing!
yep
ERW superior rolling resistance...50%...For takeoffs. Screw force accumulation and return to save rubber...Anti Bounce landings. Vacuum pressure supports high frequency in wheel suspension. Have a look US 9,004,120 B2
I suppose this will keep the 777-300ER from being completely cannibalised by the 777X.
Samoa airlines weigh passengers - may be all airline should follow this initiative? We weigh our bags and weigh each airplane part, but not passengers...
Nice video
Hey Boeing!
Nice job Boeing
Boeing is the future lol. My dream is work at boeing! but i live in Brazil :(
Hey Boeing, could you send me a review unit of your updated 777-300ER, I would love to give it an honest review. Thanks.
+Pwnzistor Excellent joke
nice video

Thank You, Very Nice Share, Cheer for Good Work, Thank You, Misheru, Opunhato ♡
hell if you're going to take it that far don't use bolts or nuts at all just glue the damn thing together with hot stuff
So you want the plane to break up in mid air? Glue can't take the stress of flight. Glue will be hard as rock in 38,000 ft so the fuselage will suffer from metal fatigue
Qué son hermosos éstos VD

the cseries from bombardier is 15% more efficient than their rivals ,,, is that true?
excellent
very good
You wanna impress me Boeing ? Get some autothrottles that aren't all over the place when experiencing wave type conditions !!! That was the scariest thing on the 777-200.
The autothrottle on the 777 is in one place. Same goes for the 737/757/767/787
NO ! By "all over the place" I am referring to their inability to maintain and hold the set speed. The autothrottles would carry you right into the Vmo clacker if you did not intervene manually - meaning not very effective autothrottles.
TROP COOL!
The B7773er Engine sometime will be on fire
