    Awesome Guitar,good playing and review vid!
    I have some questions about the mooer please:
    Is Drop D and Drop C also possible without problems?
    Is the Neck stable?
    Are the locking tuners good or only show?
    I have a Ibanez and Yamaha and both have a weak neck that bends a little bit(always out of tune after 20 minutes playing).
    The tuners and Pickups are also not good.
    ok my guitars not so expensive like the mooer.
    I search for a better Guitar like a Gio or Pacifica.
    I practice and learn more on guitar the last months and i want a better Sound and Quality.
    Greets from Austria,Björn

      Didn't have any issues tuning it down and the truss rod seems fairly sturdy & tweakable. Locking tuners work fine.

    curious, can you come out stereo for richer effects and such? couldnt tell from the video, super neat thing and i can see 1 in my future for jams at work

    So surprised by this. I have a Line 6 Variax, so the idea of pickup modeling is pretty cool. Love that Berlin song, btw.

      The first music store I gave lessons from had a guy who was obsessed with Berlin, so this was playing on repeat for his shifts. 🙄But I loved it too.@@LeonTodd

    Perfect color , beautiful shaped horns.. id like it even more without the pick guard and a wilkenson trem.. certainly more improvement over the classic effector guitar sounds.. LoL ... Great sounds that are similar to what you like... And perfect enough as a stock guitar... Super ideas with looks and sounds that seems incredible to me.. i say lupin will give this two paws up.. 😺

    Sorry not convinced, although I do own a Mooer GE300.
    Guitars are guitars, pedals are pedals and amps are amps imho and as far as modellers, the only one worth mentioning is the Fractal range, which is unfortunately priced out of the range of about 95% of most discerning or aspiring guitarists.

      There's more and more modelers going down in price that have great tone take for instance the Valentine GP 200 it's not as expensive as the big ones but it has great tone

      you dont need it then thast ge300 sounds great less than half of a helix price 2

    As a tech demo its cool but its still very much a novelty. Digital modelling and effects evolve at such a fast pace so why have that tied to hardware on a guitar. Some of these Mooer digital guitars are selling for best part of a grand. Anyone who spends that are going to be left in a few years with some very antiquated digital gear stuck on their guitar. Sure they can use it with newer, better digital gear at that stage but then why not just spend that money on a better guitar in the first place.

    • @blackforestghost1
      @blackforestghost1 9 месяцев назад +4

      If you see it like this, you also shouldn`t buy any technical equipment like a Helix or a kemper profiler or a Headrush core or any Keyboard or synthesizer or any DAW... cause you are afraid of your technic getting old and outdated after a while ???? Oh dear ! This guitar sounds good, why should it suddenly sound bad some years later? And why do you always want to purchase the newest stuff in future??
      Love your equipment and use it to make music!

    • @BecomingProductions
      @BecomingProductions 9 месяцев назад

      @@blackforestghost1 we'll agree to differ. A guitar as an instrument changes very little year after year. There's always advancements in individual areas such as pickups or bridge design but overall a guitar from 30 or 40 years really isn't too different from any modern guitar. The same is absolutely not true about digital modelling platforms. Why tie something that's not dated by technology to something that clearly is. For the record this already sounds significantly worse than most of the other high end modelling platforms and will sound even more dated compared to what's available in 5 years. If you're happy with sound of this thing, then I'm happy for you. Definite pass from me anyway. Also worth a mention novelty items like this typically tank in value. I agree about treating your instruments as instruments and making music with them. I just think there's far more wiser choices than this thing.

    That's pretty much the perfect beginner guitar... introduction to modelling tech, what seems like a very well thought out design with satin neck and high fret access, and probably the most aggressive looking horns since an 80's Ibanez 😂

    Tones were OK, which sounds like damning with faint praise, but I don't mean it that way. It's impressive that they fitted reasonably good tones into a package small enough to fit into a guitar cavity. I'm really taken with the pickup control-- that's a slick idea.
