The model I choose is the GBA-800 in the orange or yellow version as I want something bright as a beater in my truck...
Being both the smallest and lightest G Shock I have makes the GA2100 my daily go to. It's so comfortable that there have been times when I have forgotten I even had it on.
Jack Tyler I have quite thin wrists and I think this would be too big for me, however some baby-G models can be had blacked out or dark/tan and those fit me fine, so you should have no issues. But there are also several Casio JDM models that also work well for me, but I don't think they are sold outside Japan, at least I've never seen them.
@@nobody2021 they have a positive display now for a all black one. Check the GA-B2100 they have the all stealth and a black with a positive display. They are also solar powered. Hopefully that helps
I feel you but if they didn't sue Maruice Lacroix for the Aikon, or Bulova for their royal oak knock off, i think g shock is safe. I honestly cant believe Hilfiger/movado got sued for theirs
I am a high horology watch collector and have been for 20 years. My guilty pleasure has also been been collecting G shocks during that time too. When the GA2100 was released I purchased one immediately. As I can not wear the majority of mine high end watches casually, this has not left my wrist most days. Absolutely love it. If they come out with a steel or gold version, I will definitely purchase it.

I also need sapphire. Hard to find a watch with all the above. Even hard to find sapphire gshocks that aren't top tier models. I don't want my face getting scratched up.

@@denismocanu3854 It all depends on the taste and the occasion, I guess. I am wearing the 5610 on a daily basis and on some occasions I switch to the Oak. They are both very similar in size, so they should both fit your wrist. Good luck!
Pretty cool watch actually... haven’t thought that about any watch in a good while. Most RUclips watch guys make this mistake. Don’t show the watch exclusively in close up. Zoom out, let us see what it looks like at a distance. Not right up on it the entire time
Awesome watch! Forgot all the other freakish toy looking G Shocks! These are Lightweight and real sturdy. Best of all doesn’t look like a toy, like other GShocks
I own a lot of gshocks. Mainly just always buy the military styled versions whenever a new one comes out. Majority are freaking overkill huge. I hate having to take it off just to put on my jacket, and not be able to bend my wrist all the way. Most have all sorts of features I never use. I really only use the time, temp, and compass when they have those features but aren’t needed. I prefer less functions. Less functions I feel make it a more reliable watch with less things to break. Def dig it, and how it’s not too thick.
I can't find this watch under 150 bucks. Casio definitely put up the price since sales started to go up. The 99 bucks said on the video is not true anymore. :( But still, fantastic watch!
After having this watch on my radar or a fair few moths, I actually got the Stealth from eBay this week. I paid £180 which is kind of a fair price for a watch so popular and sold out everywhere, I just hope for my sake that Casio don't add more stealth into the market so I can at least retain the value or get more if I do decide to sell in the future. In terms of the 'useless' LED, I have to disagree, if you're used to wearing watches, even with poor lume you still have knowledge of what time it is even if it's a slight silohette from the hands. I had a GA-100MB-1AER a few years ago and if you want to see a useless LED, I'd recommend that one. Completely useless in pitch black, at least this one gives a fairly decent glow across the whole dial and indexes.
On your tutorial I would like to see how the day of week indicator changes at midnight. It would be cool if it would snap from Sat to Sun but I'm sure it just does a smooth sweep.
Ive had my Mudmaster GG 1000 for the last 4 years and love it. Was recently looking at the Mudmaster GWG 1000 all in black, but financially I'll need to hold off on that for now but maybe this 2100 in all black may do the job till then.
Just got the black&white version today, looks awesome! It is very light, it looks like it would be a heavy, bulky watch, but you can barely tell it's on your wrist. Well done Casio!
@@geraldhng8774 I think he means when the case back is threaded so that it threads into the case itself. This is what is commonly referred to as a screw down case back. This one has 4 screws holding it down.
I wish that a slim, g-shock (replaceable outer parts) style, full digital, larger digit casio watch would come. Squares are cool but they could be slimmer a little bit and higher in screen ratio.
I agree, if they made this in stainless...it'd be insane. They'd probably want $700 for it with a matching bracelet, and people would flip it for $1k. Insane how nostalgia, form and function all work for Casio really well in this line. People love almost everything they do. Maybe try covering a Japanese market high end G Shock. Haven't seen many English speaking channels cover those lines....maybe like the MRG line?
It really is the design. I’m not a fan of G Shock watches generally even though I have a huge wrist and don’t mind a bigger bulkier watch but I just don’t like the style of G Shocks. This 1 I will be picking up it looks fantastic
I don't get the comparison with the royal oak. I think they just wanted to make a analog square G-Shock and changed the shape to get more space for the round dial. I love my GA 2100 black since I'm a huge fan of the square models.

I bought it and returned it 24h later. It is for small wrists, small fingers, hawk ayes and for me was kind of complicated even with not so many functions! Looks cool but not so good to spend money on it.

W800 and 217. Both great watches and pretty much as durable. Only downside is the crystal isn't protected by the bezel like on gshocks

This is not a copy of the Royal Oak. It is a riff on the original G-Shock, which had a semi-hexagonal case.

I was thinking about getting this one here, I like the simplicity and the lack of other features. However 3 years does not sound like a very long time for the battery to last, is this normal battery length for watches and is it easy to change the battery when it does go flat? There is no such model currently as far as I know, pedometer is only available on a couple of models and they are all regular battery powered

Sharan I agree with you. I’ve seen some one Amazon and EBay but they are like purple and pink with white, as well as red and yellow it’s weird looking but I would prefer the matte black finish
