Playing baseball, serving during WWII, playing NBA for 2 yrs, and THEN having a successful acting career? Who'd have known? He was a very impressive man, and thank you for showing us his final resting place. Does he have family nearby? It seems like such a non-descript kind of grave, for someone who was larger than life.

My dad God rest his soul loved western shows so I watched them all. Laramie, The Cimmaron ect....and so on. I search then out today as well because tv certainly isn't what it once was. I believe from the mid 1950's to the early 1980's was the best time for t.v.. The golden years being the 70's for movies and t.v.. They'll never make shows like that again unfortunately and that is sad in my opinion. Thank you for quick look at what I believe was one of the greats.

I most definitely appreciate you finding and showing his resting place. I enjoyed watching him in whatever movie or tv show he was in. Him and Doris Day were in a movie together. He stared in Branded and so many others. I think it would be a tie of tv dads between him and Loren Greene from Bonanza

Hi again. When I lived in Pittsburgh I went to Mr Mckuen's concerts. At one of these concerts he came down from the stage and sang "April People" to me. It was my birthday. I will never forget that special moment. From Norma

I watched RIFLEMAN growing up in the fifty, sixties. I still watch today here in central Fla. every afternoon. Also, Luke Halpen from Flipper was my neighbor for many years. He told me he was moving to South Fla. to become a boat Captain.Your good friend Vinny in good old Fla.

How cool to have Luke as a neighbor! And how neat that The Rifleman can still be seen on TV all these years later. Thanks for the comment!

Wow, thanks for this. I just love The Rifleman. Chuck Connors was a real sort of stand-up guy and so was Johnny Crawford. I hope more people today can watch and see how great TV used to be. And I also wish I could read what it says on the fronts of the TV guides displayed here. What a great share!!!
