I owned the LS60, but returned them to the shop, ik kept my LS50W with subwoofer. LS50W are a lot better if you ask me. Bigger drivers, more clarity.

The smaller front driver is dedicated to midrange as the bottom end is handled by the side woofers. While the ls50 woofer is larger, it doing two jobs at once.

@@MrViper7121 yes but the ls50 have base reflex pipes at the rear. This ls60 is more suited for positioning by a wall. But the ls60 bass isn’t much better. Not €5000 euro better, maybe €500. The big difference I noticed; ls50 you need to sit at the perfect position and then its awesome. The ls60 you can sit everywhere and it’s almost as good, but €5000 euro more expensive 😄😄I would also recommend a extra subwoofer with the LS60, that makes it even more expensive!

This is interesting criticism, and I agree with you the MSRP of LS-60 is the prohibitive factor overall. The cost of LS-50 wireless II, stands, and two KC-62 subs is less $ however off axis not as good as pair of LS-60 nor is a simple a setup with less clutter. We have found LS-60 likes to be close to rear wall and away from side walls unlike many other KEF speakers like R series that like side walls. KEF simply makes top shelf wireless products.

@@HudsonValleyHiFI I agree, the LS60 looks awesome, and is very good but very expensive compared to the almost as good LS50w.
