This is part of a series of ghost comparison videos for Mario Kart DS, showcasing two of the best time trial runs in the world racing side-by-side for a given track. This is made possible thanks to MKDasher's input display script as well as Pikalex04's method for syncing two separate runs together on DeSmuME.
On Rainbow Road Non-SC, MKDasher and Taiga are surprisingly quite matched in contrast to the more popular SC category. Always nice to see the ROB-BLS on this track!

mkdasher lost .2 to unfortunate jump landing lap 1, taiga lost .3 or even .4 to nearly falling off on lap 2 turnskip, and then lap 3 mkdasher just had an absolutely superb lap all around

Honestly I feel like Dasher lost a decent amount each lap from not canceling the fast fall each lap and I feel like lap 1 he more lost like .3

Lap 3, Taiga had a wide drift after the jump because he wanted to be safe. That seemed to have close the time difference gap from lap 1.

i think it might just be him getting less than optimal line there, he had to perform 1 extra set of dpad inputs to get a miniturbo due to slight mistiming
