This solo has to be one of my favorites by nirvana just because it goes perfectly with the words.
When i first heard this solo i thought i would never be able to play it as a beginner, but holy crap Marty! In just less than an hour you got me playing this like its nothing! Thank you!!
Me too, I started playing a couple months ago and thought it would be at least a year till I learned a solo and I was so surprised how fast I learned it

@@meetroushan2727 it’s the same notes but it’s done on different strings (the lower strings) the other version i learnt is a bit easier except the ending doesn’t sound quite right (the ending as in the “hello hello hello how low” part), u can find it on youtube

damn, as a beginner I think this should be taught for all beginners as their first (or one of the first) solo(s), because I got it down real quick with it sounding quite ok, and it includes stuff like bending and a bit of vibrato, awesome tutorial, appreciate all of your work Marty!!

@@Brendenmaximin sorry if this is too late but from studying pics kurts amps it seens he has gain around 8-10, treble 8, bass 6. As for his pedals im sure he used a chorus pedal and some other ones i cant remember the name of im sure u can find it with a quick Google search ☺️

I have ADD, been playing for years but honestly guitar is like math to me, very hard to understand. I seriously don't know what I would do without Marty.. he's the only instructor I've found that if I pay close attention, I can learn..God bless you Marty!

I still suck at guitar. Thats my fault for being to busy to practice. But what stuff i do know is because of Marty. My favorite moment was learning pink floyds wish you were here. I always couldnt comprehend my G chord then learning that song it made that chord possible. Marty you rock man your videos are hands down the most informative cause you slow down and the camera angles get right up on your fretting business its awesome

MARTY great videos, absolute fan from Luxembourg. You have brought me from complete beginner to intermediate i guess. I personally would love to see some more PINK FLOYD. And I have already learned all from the last channel. But to be honest they were easy to learn but a bit to basic for more intermediate players I think. Cool, more licks I'd never have learned on my own! I decided to keep the whole solo in the 8th - 11th frets box after starting with you on the 10th, and do the bends with my first finger. Easier for me to keep track of with the way my brain works before my second cup of coffee.
