Just the fact that you can simply go outside and pick some fresh grapes makes me a little jealous! Where I grew up, we had wild raspberries and blueberries down the road, and I miss going down there for fresh fruit. A beautiful restoration, as always!
Nicely done sir, this fine old kitchen appliance was probably one of the most improved cooking tools in the modern kitchen of years gone past. Thanks for sharing 😁👍🇺🇸🇨🇱

I really look forward to watching your videos. Your restoration on items is great!!! Just love your helper Avril...Such a beautiful cat. That was one of the reasons (Avril), besides the great work you do on restorations is why I decided to subscribe to your channel. Looking forward to seeing your next video....
It's a filler used primarily for car bodywork repairs. Like some glues, it is usually mixed with a hardener before application. It sets extremely hard and can be sanded smooth and then primed and painted. Hope that clarifies things.
It is a little funny how My Mechanic has all of the other restoration channels suddenly paranoid about countersinking holes and removing casting marks, but I certainly appreciate the extra effort when people go that extra step. It makes everything look nice and prevents your fasteners failing to start or seizing. I will say, if you want a chance to remove all of the casting imperfections and pitting without having to file for days, try to find some spray cans of high build primer for automotive use. It will eventually dry pretty hard, but immediately after curing, it can be easily sanded to remove surface blemishes and leaves a very smooth finish for the next layer of primer and paint.
Nice! I got to see something old and rusty turn into something beautiful! This was the first time I came here and I'm glad I did. I've also subscribed to see more.
Sure wish we could get some of the things that you guys have restored they are so practical easier to clean and worked every time. In a lot of ways the old ways were the best way
I am glad there are still people out there in this "replace everything" world that has the brains to restore already working things rather than throwing it away and buying some cheaply made crappier version.
At 9:30, how did you secure the strainer to the drill press in order to clean/polish the outside? Did you drill a hole in the bottom or have an expanding mandrel to secure it? Nice video. Thanks.
I've watched many of your videos and I'm wondering if you could include in the description or as text at the beginning of the video the amount of time the various projects take fully vs. you editing footage down to your usual lengths. Thanks for the great content!! 👍

Question: Did the solder you used to attach spout contain lead. If so, wouldn't silver solder or even brazing have been better. Lead contact with consumables is not advisable. Looks like I asked my question too soon. Did not realize it cup was to be painted. Sorry.
Excellent job there bro I like it when you guys put old stuff that was sitting on the shelf or getting there to be rusted to bring it back to its original color or not and it was great job I love to work you guys do and I enjoy your videos keep doing it bro
Reminds me of a duck press which Empress Sisi of Austria used to squeeze meat juice for breakfast. That’s about all I took away from that museum tour. 😆
Awesome video, and restoration, but when you soldered the spout onto it, are you not worried about lead getting into the juice ? I know you painted it but even still.
Is it soldering lead at 7th minute? Is it safe for food processing tools though? Are there any other metals that has low melting points and suitable for the food processors?
I love how, in the beginning of your videos, the objects are often crawling with bugs. It makes the items feel freshly picked as if out of some weird garden of relics
I don’t see any bugs in this one.
@@Persekiss it’s a bug at 0:22
@@heyitsbrene8052 thx, I saw it.
Man it’s easier to restore an old juicer entirely then even clean one of those modern ones…
How many views have a guy that buy a modern one

Ain't that the truth. 🤣👍
I have the easiest juicer to clean in the world. takes less than 2 minutes.
LOL
We're on planned obsolescence era
OMG… It’s literally the world’s smallest fruit press. When you’re juicing for just one person, it’s perfect! I wish I had one just like it!!!
