Be it Newbie, Veteran, Whaler(Pay 2 Win), and F2P(Free to Play) Player these servant has their own capabilities. The differences probably is your resources. Since resources/material is necesary for upgrading your servant and they are really hard to gather outside an event. If you had Saber Alter and you ask, "is it good for newbie?". Well a Lv.50 Saber Alter and a Lv.90 Saber Alter which is better? Its obvious. So a good servant for newbie is a servant with their own capabilities and Leveled Up. As for Rama, since he is a SR Servant, actually he is pretty good in term of gameplay for newbie, since he has a single target NP. You must differ between Single Target NP and All Target NP Servant. Saber Alter is All-Target NP Saber servant. She is good for clearing wave , mean she is good to wipe out more than one enemies As for Rama, he is single target, he is good for defeating challange boss unit. Why? Boss usually has a higher HP Pool, and using All-Target NP to them is pretty hard since it won't do damage that much(except for gilgamesh archer). So what good for newbies? 1. First you can level up some good 3☆ Servant. Some of them is (Cu Chulainn Lancer, David Archer, Hans Caster, Fuuma Kotarou, Bedivere) those three star servant is probably the best in their rank. 2. It is necesary for you to level up your first 4 star servant as high as possible. They are build for newbies. 3. If you lucky enough and has 5 star, dont rush on level it up. Since usually their material is really bad. Focus on your most easy to level up but good enough to carry your game through. Especially for event. Since event is the only way you can get your material.
Saberlot helped me with this fight (along with an Umu iirc) but I've always wanted Rama. So far my most wanted 4* are Rama, CasGil, Kiritsugu, Lalter, Salter, Nursery Rhyme and Gorgon. Only going to increase as we get to Epic of Remnant. EMIYA Alter, Circe, Yagyu, Sazuka, Penthiselia. And I'm mostly F2P :')
It may be extremely cheesy, boring, and with literally no risk...but it's effective to the point where there's no reason not to use it unless seeking some challenge.

easy, just roll for the Caster GSSR banner when it comes to NA. Out of your possible choices...Waver/Tama/Sanzang...a very good chance of getting one of those two (and Sanzang is a pretty solid unit as well)

Dude waver gives %50 crit damage bonus with his 1st skill with that amount buff any servant can hit that damage total amount buff is with crit: %160 +1 k and rama's first skills gives %50 more with level 1 total is %210 it is normal the deals that damage otherwise it will be awkward my raikou deals max 80 k crit with her own skills

Improvising. Waver boosts Attack by 30% and Crit Damage by 50%. Shakespeare boosts Buster by 40% for 1 turn. Rama has Charisma up to 18% more attack and Combat Suit gives another 30 attack boost. Golden Captures the Carp gives free 15-20 stars so Rama could Crit with his c. Star absorption boost. All of this can be done by double Merlin + Quetzalcoatl. Quetz has higher Charisma, a self buster buff and a crir damage buff. Meaning she can hit even harder without advantage of class.
...Along with double Waver (both 10/10/10) and a Nightingale with level 10 Angel's Cry. Sounds a bit whale-y to me, though it could just be someone insanely lucky or a dolphin.

Skadi + Medusa Lily's post-interlude NP + a single target Quick NP user (like...regular Scathach lol) can result in a much easier to do nuke than this. Primeval Rune (+50% Quick boost) + Freezing Blizzard (-30% enemy Defense) + Medusa Lily's upgraded NP (-20% enemy quick resist) + any single target Quick NP user of your choice = bye bye enemy. The caveat? Good luck actually pulling Skadi AND Medusa Lily to even make this possible.
