I believe they hired the same voice actor (Which makes sense because expy/Alternative characters tend to have the same VA like/similarly to himeko) which explains why the girl named "Cyrene" sounds so similar to Elysia. Personally, i think it's a VERY nice touch.
The Flamechaser Era is the pride of Honkai Impact 3rd players❤ I hope these Star Rail only players can bear witness to a parallel version of their story so they too can appreciate how beautiful these characters are. A story that tackles the philosophical ways of the man, moral dilemmas and the truest human nature that encompasses humanity as a whole❤️
I don't know, I feel like the story won't be as impactful as the flame flamechaser era. It'll probably be good, but not as impactful, especially the character development. I just wish hsr increase their main story to maybe 6 versions instead of having the main story for 3 versions.

Acherons home planet was a mirror of current era HI3, she became Origin and defeated Finality only for her world to be erased from existence by IX. Amphoreus looks to be a mirror of previous era HI3. According to Black Swan, Akivili has never been there and it is hidden away from outside observation, only able to be seen by the garden of recollection. This is all too similar to what the memokeeper said to Kiana. In an event that may or may not be canon Sparkle claimed to have already been to Amphoreus, and we have Sparkle visiting Vita despite the fact she shouldnt even know either one exists. With situations so similar, is it just coincidence or a leadup to something huge?
Acheron's world was kind of a mix of both eras. Twelve Divine Keys/Sentinel Swords were forged from the fallen gods and then used by Acheron, Izumo-Kevin, and their allies which is basically just like the Flamechasers. And just like what happened to them, the war against the Kami turned for the worse and then, for whatever reason, Izumo-Kevin went off the deep end with his own Project STIGMA which forced Acheron to kill him. Knowing that, I feel like Amphoreus' story is likely gonna be us interfering with the fates of the Amphoreus Flamechasers where instead of falling like their counterparts on Izumo and Earth, this time they'll be saved through the backup of the Astral Express crew and whatever allies that will appear during it.
Everytime I see a Masked Fool say they knows something, I just belive them. Aha literaly brakes the 4 wall (along side the Fools) and probably knows that the world is a game, so lets just gonna have some fun XD

My guess in order: Hua - hair looks similar Mobius - one of her usual posture is to hold her head with her hand Kalpas - masked male with a demon hand holding a flame Griseo - young adult version with that short hair cut Lastly, Elysia at the end. Everything comes into full circle if Acheron visits this planet in 3.0+

That's definitely Aponia. So by logic of exclusion, Aglaea cannot be Aponia. PS. Aponia could only see the threads of fate but not weave / change it. And she tried to save people but only ended up as an unintended angel of death instead ...
@@prastagus3 You are overlooking something. Firts, Aponia's theme has never been about life and death itself, but discipline, boundaries, and destiny. Second, Golden threads in Greek mythology are related to fate and destiny as well. Third, Aponia is related by other Flame chasers with destiny as well. Four, Aponia talks of how besides knowing the future she efforts trying to avoid it, which goes along with the goldweave idea of Aglaea.

I remember back during 1.0 and 1.1, there were people having... uh, "dreams" that there would be 2 Fu Huas. We can already guess Marshal Hua is one for several obvious reasons, but I wonder (if the dreams become reality) if this would be how they introduced the 2nd one. A Senti variant maybe? Hopefully?

The death lady, the goddess of death seems to be Aponia and maybe (?) Seele. Her name "Castorice" most likely comes from "Castores", the zodiac sign Gemini. Both Seele and Aponia have butterfly motifs, one has an alter ego a " twin", and one is an actual Gemini (Aponia's birthday is May 25, Gemini generally falls on May 21 - June 21). Aponia's name actually means "moth". Moths loosely symbolize the end of a cycle, death and transformation, night, and the soul. Her name "Aponia" also means the absence of pain and spiritual tranquility in Greek. In the trailer they describe Castorice as "When you embrace her, even frozen death will sleep peacefully (not verbatim)." This implies that she will relieve you of your pain and suffering, and provide tranquility to the soul. While Seele Vollerei is the herrscher of death and rebirth. "Stygian Nymph" one of her battlesuits probably means "Nymph from Styx (also means very dark)". Nymphs typically are bound to a place or landfom of some sort, so this means she's bound to the River Styx. Nymphs also have divination as one of their abilities. "Starchasm Nyx", Nyx is the goddess of night. Take from that what you will
okay so everyone is saying midei the gilgamesh looking dude is kosma but i theorize it is the character who have the monstrous mask and hand with the flame on the hand is kosma expy because a big part of kosma character is tie with dawn and he is a monster looking dude in hi3 due to MANTIS experiments after he lost control. plus in his description he is often compare to a single flame burning searching for dawn. i am excited for the griseo expy. finally the arks siblings be together

The flame chasers chased a fleet flame for them and their time, but at the end most had become the ashes of that flame. May they rest in peace these souls of bygone eras. Their deaths would eventually lead to the new beginning that would hold that flame they so desperately chased…
i can answer that. The Imaginary Tree is a conceptual structure that holds all possible timelines and realities, and the God of the Honkai acts as its guardian or ruling force. The Honkai is a manifestation of this "God" to evaluate whether a civilization is worthy of existence. . Those that fail are absorbed by the Sea of quanta, a metaphysical space where realities die and fade. This entity has demonstrated that in each timeline its energy manifests in a different way in a different concept and even with different effects. I hope that answers your question.
To put it simply, Powerful beings made to literally destroy worlds/universes as a way to "Test there worth." The stronger the technology/advancement the more honkai power/corruption. That's also why games like Genshin have more fantasy like creatures rather then robotic sci-fi ones.(Yes, Genshin is connected to the imaginary tree since so far, every Hoyoverse game has been connected to it if you don't take ZZZ as an exception) There more powerful then any being since they literally come from the sea of quanta, aka, *Universal Death.*

Given how many different guesses so many of them have, and that most of the guesses have some logic, I'm starting to suspect that this group isn't just a 1 flamechase expy to one hsr character. They might have swapped a few flamechaser traits around, fused in a second character, or even made a substitute with a closely related character. For example: #2(tribbie(sp?)) could be griseo but with Vill-V's split and the other part of Vill-V is a character that doesn't have that. Our Sakura expy might turn out to be a barbara+Yae or even actually a Rin. And fu could be a senti (I've nothing to support this guess, just hoping and throwing it out there)

If it is just for the Lore, you don't need to worry about it because I will make videos explaining anything that has to do with Honkai Impact 3rd. But, if it is for the gameplay, you can try it out and see if you would like it or not.

It's because of the lore. Spoilers They desperately fought for humanity in the previous era just to die or went MIA. And HI3 killed them "twice". I kept that spoiler really simple but you should try to watch explanation videos to understand why people are attached to the characters. It's impossible to explain how much each of them suffered.
Hi3 has better story narrative tho- thats why hi3 version is peak and hsr in more like a tribute to it. Hi3 is about one planet and constant development of the same cast. the impact of the flamechasers act was so huge there- its not only that we met them and they died. its about what their lives, burdens and death meant to our characters. they were 13 people who failed to become heroes. we feel the burden they leave for our generation of characters. Few of them survived 50000 years- they serve as legacy and we witness their pains. it all connects to one story. it was Elysia sacrificing herself, becoming common enemy to unite people at their lowest. Her death allows current timeline to have a different outcome. The stakes and overall feeling of desperation lingers as u experience their story and understand what it means. Hsr to has different approach- exploring and then leaving. its not your story- u are just some random mc who comes saves the day and departs to another planet. even if they kill all 13 of amphoreus- it wont have that meaning. we are just bystanders- its a sad story but if its not your story u will never feel as devastated. and thats what differs those games. Dont get me wrong- I love star rail but that narrative is made for fun in exploration and not for writing one big heart-breaking story
@@JLButterfly thats pretty sad and miserable, I prefer the way things are in hsr, life isnt rainbows and unicorns and we know it, why would I drown myself in even more melancholy from content like hi3.. Also, even if they are related hi3 and hsr, in hsr i understand it is like a parallel universe, so, shouldnt we consider all characters new? Fresh start, I dont know how much is linked between the characters here and hi3 but for example I didnt see anything unusual for Bronya/Silver Wolf, nor Himeko or Welt. Dont know how they were like in hi3 but seem chill here. I dunno, I prefer this game than hi3, that one seems sorrowful, not to mention I dont really like the gameplay and UI, and the fact they have same characters with 10 other versions recycled and presented as new characters, something that bothers me a little even here for the fact they reused some of those in hsr, but hey, at least there is a lot of diversity in hsr. A huge step forward is the fact they release male playable characters, even tho im not crazy for them, I do like some. So for example when I saw people excited for Kevin I didnt really understand whats the hype for a character you couldnt even play in the original game he comes from..

I say second arc cuz we have Elysian Realm (ER) which is place made of their memories with sims of the 13 (each of them recorded their own persona in there). Thats where we discover what they did 50000years ago by meeting them. Elysia story is the most elusive cuz the truth is hidden and nobody speaks openly about what happened. We get to know that ellie was called traitor and yet every flamechaser seems hurt if u asked them about it. Later we get to know that she united people by becoming common enemy- coming out as herrscher that will be defeated without casualties… (Ellie sent invitation to the 13 to come face her. Everyone refused to believe she is enemy. Only 4 people came. Aponia who saw threads of Fate, Vill Vi who figured the truth herself, Eden- the one that Elysia told personally, and Kevin- he was oblivious yet came on her request anyway. We dont know how it went- we know that after that encounter Ellie was gone and cut threads of Fate releasing the next era (the one we are in). The way they killed her is free to interpretation but whatever u think of is both beautiful in its pure sacrifice and deeply devastating) Complex part in exploring ER is that not all of them knew what happened- Sakura died before final battle, and even before Elysia came out as fake enemy. She died trying to reach her sister Rin who was murdered by soldiers of the organization flamechasers were in (despite orders to let her be- they locked Rin up in a cell cuz of potential danger) and after being killed Rin became that danger- herrscher of corruption. Sakura in ER knows nothing of it and we navigate through her dialogue to stay away from that topic. So we put together the puzzles of their story, each and every person and how they interacted with rest of the 13 (lots of reading- not much animations) we get to know the ending of their first arc- their actual lives. The second is in ER (Elysium Everlasting arc) where they sacrifice the whole elysian realm, their last legacy, all those people we met, uniting all thats left of them- to defeat herrscher of corruption of current era. (Thats why we see memories crack and wither away like burning photos in because of you animation. The eye is the herrscher. Love how artistic it looks when they use old anime style in one scene there (the 13 are previous era, old, nostalgic so it rly suits them🥰) The line Kevin says that „there will never be a second elysia” really hits u in the spot. Cuz u met her, saw how genuine she is (Mei- who is the one experiencing the story of the 13- was in cold numb state of mind when she came to the ER- she joined the other side where Kevin was leader to stop Kiana from being suicidal. It was Elysia who sparked a lil life back in Mei’s dark world) and then u have to accept that there is nothing left of her. (Later Mei gets Elysia blessing and becomes Origin)

I don't know, I feel like the story won't be as impactful as the flame flamechaser era. It'll probably be good, but not as impactful, especially the character development. I just wish hsr increase their main story to maybe 6 versions instead of having the main story for 3 versions.

@shuragaming4836 Ngl the monkies is just for filler, but the main story of penacony was good so I have faith, but it's just the overall character development I'm worried about. It's also the Dialogue. If they make 3.2 story 9 hours like penacony 2.2, I'm gonna freak out.

Acherons home planet was a mirror of current era HI3, she became Origin and defeated Finality only for her world to be erased from existence by IX. Amphoreus looks to be a mirror of previous era HI3. According to Black Swan, Akivili has never been there and it is hidden away from outside observation, only able to be seen by the garden of recollection. This is all too similar to what the memokeeper said to Kiana. In an event that may or may not be canon Sparkle claimed to have already been to Amphoreus, and we have Sparkle visiting Vita despite the fact she shouldnt even know either one exists. With situations so similar, is it just coincidence or a leadup to something huge?
Acheron's world was kind of a mix of both eras. Twelve Divine Keys/Sentinel Swords were forged from the fallen gods and then used by Acheron, Izumo-Kevin, and their allies which is basically just like the Flamechasers. And just like what happened to them, the war against the Kami turned for the worse and then, for whatever reason, Izumo-Kevin went off the deep end with his own Project STIGMA which forced Acheron to kill him.
Knowing that, I feel like Amphoreus' story is likely gonna be us interfering with the fates of the Amphoreus Flamechasers where instead of falling like their counterparts on Izumo and Earth, this time they'll be saved through the backup of the Astral Express crew and whatever allies that will appear during it.
Everytime I see a Masked Fool say they knows something, I just belive them. Aha literaly brakes the 4 wall (along side the Fools) and probably knows that the world is a game, so lets just gonna have some fun XD

Everything comes into full circle if Acheron visits this planet in 3.0+
I Aglaea is Aponia, since she has much more to do with Destiny than Eden.

Check out Styx butterfly dress and her power to command death. That's definitely Aponia.
So by logic of exclusion, Aglaea cannot be Aponia.
PS. Aponia could only see the threads of fate but not weave / change it. And she tried to save people but only ended up as an unintended angel of death instead ...
@@prastagus3 You are overlooking something. Firts, Aponia's theme has never been about life and death itself, but discipline, boundaries, and destiny. Second, Golden threads in Greek mythology are related to fate and destiny as well. Third, Aponia is related by other Flame chasers with destiny as well. Four, Aponia talks of how besides knowing the future she efforts trying to avoid it, which goes along with the goldweave idea of Aglaea.

We already have 2 Bronyas, so why not 2 Fuhuas? As she has many identity and life cycles in HI3 lore anyways.

The death lady, the goddess of death seems to be Aponia and maybe (?) Seele.
Her name "Castorice" most likely comes from "Castores", the zodiac sign Gemini.
Both Seele and Aponia have butterfly motifs, one has an alter ego a " twin", and one is an actual Gemini (Aponia's birthday is May 25, Gemini generally falls on May 21 - June 21).
Aponia's name actually means "moth". Moths loosely symbolize the end of a cycle, death and transformation, night, and the soul.
Her name "Aponia" also means the absence of pain and spiritual tranquility in Greek. In the trailer they describe Castorice as "When you embrace her, even frozen death will sleep peacefully (not verbatim)." This implies that she will relieve you of your pain and suffering, and provide tranquility to the soul.
While Seele Vollerei is the herrscher of death and rebirth.
"Stygian Nymph" one of her battlesuits probably means "Nymph from Styx (also means very dark)".
Nymphs typically are bound to a place or landfom of some sort, so this means she's bound to the River Styx. Nymphs also have divination as one of their abilities.

okay so everyone is saying midei the gilgamesh looking dude is kosma but i theorize it is the character who have the monstrous mask and hand with the flame on the hand is kosma expy because a big part of kosma character is tie with dawn and he is a monster looking dude in hi3 due to MANTIS experiments after he lost control. plus in his description he is often compare to a single flame burning searching for dawn. i am excited for the griseo expy. finally the arks siblings be together

Given how many different guesses so many of them have, and that most of the guesses have some logic, I'm starting to suspect that this group isn't just a 1 flamechase expy to one hsr character. They might have swapped a few flamechaser traits around, fused in a second character, or even made a substitute with a closely related character.
For example: #2(tribbie(sp?)) could be griseo but with Vill-V's split and the other part of Vill-V is a character that doesn't have that.
Our Sakura expy might turn out to be a barbara+Yae or even actually a Rin.
And fu could be a senti (I've nothing to support this guess, just hoping and throwing it out there)

They desperately fought for humanity in the previous era just to die or went MIA. And HI3 killed them "twice". I kept that spoiler really simple but you should try to watch explanation videos to understand why people are attached to the characters. It's impossible to explain how much each of them suffered.
Hi3 has better story narrative tho- thats why hi3 version is peak and hsr in more like a tribute to it.
Hi3 is about one planet and constant development of the same cast. the impact of the flamechasers act was so huge there- its not only that we met them and they died. its about what their lives, burdens and death meant to our characters. they were 13 people who failed to become heroes. we feel the burden they leave for our generation of characters. Few of them survived 50000 years- they serve as legacy and we witness their pains. it all connects to one story. it was Elysia sacrificing herself, becoming common enemy to unite people at their lowest. Her death allows current timeline to have a different outcome. The stakes and overall feeling of desperation lingers as u experience their story and understand what it means.
Hsr to has different approach- exploring and then leaving. its not your story- u are just some random mc who comes saves the day and departs to another planet. even if they kill all 13 of amphoreus- it wont have that meaning. we are just bystanders- its a sad story but if its not your story u will never feel as devastated. and thats what differs those games. Dont get me wrong- I love star rail but that narrative is made for fun in exploration and not for writing one big heart-breaking story
@@JLButterfly thats pretty sad and miserable, I prefer the way things are in hsr, life isnt rainbows and unicorns and we know it, why would I drown myself in even more melancholy from content like hi3..
Also, even if they are related hi3 and hsr, in hsr i understand it is like a parallel universe, so, shouldnt we consider all characters new? Fresh start, I dont know how much is linked between the characters here and hi3 but for example I didnt see anything unusual for Bronya/Silver Wolf, nor Himeko or Welt. Dont know how they were like in hi3 but seem chill here. I dunno, I prefer this game than hi3, that one seems sorrowful, not to mention I dont really like the gameplay and UI, and the fact they have same characters with 10 other versions recycled and presented as new characters, something that bothers me a little even here for the fact they reused some of those in hsr, but hey, at least there is a lot of diversity in hsr. A huge step forward is the fact they release male playable characters, even tho im not crazy for them, I do like some. So for example when I saw people excited for Kevin I didnt really understand whats the hype for a character you couldnt even play in the original game he comes from..
@@lulka0 can you hook me up with a video that summarizes the story? Maybe with the cinematics too? Im not really willing and patient enough to grind their game to find out, and the fact it is sad doesnt really sound appealing to me. Sure I like some sad moments that get me teared up, I love when some movies or games make me cry, but I dont like it when and if it's too much of it.. all in balance, not too sad, neither stupidly happy

I say second arc cuz we have Elysian Realm (ER) which is place made of their memories with sims of the 13 (each of them recorded their own persona in there). Thats where we discover what they did 50000years ago by meeting them. Elysia story is the most elusive cuz the truth is hidden and nobody speaks openly about what happened. We get to know that ellie was called traitor and yet every flamechaser seems hurt if u asked them about it. Later we get to know that she united people by becoming common enemy- coming out as herrscher that will be defeated without casualties… (Ellie sent invitation to the 13 to come face her. Everyone refused to believe she is enemy. Only 4 people came. Aponia who saw threads of Fate, Vill Vi who figured the truth herself, Eden- the one that Elysia told personally, and Kevin- he was oblivious yet came on her request anyway. We dont know how it went- we know that after that encounter Ellie was gone and cut threads of Fate releasing the next era (the one we are in). The way they killed her is free to interpretation but whatever u think of is both beautiful in its pure sacrifice and deeply devastating)
Complex part in exploring ER is that not all of them knew what happened- Sakura died before final battle, and even before Elysia came out as fake enemy. She died trying to reach her sister Rin who was murdered by soldiers of the organization flamechasers were in (despite orders to let her be- they locked Rin up in a cell cuz of potential danger) and after being killed Rin became that danger- herrscher of corruption. Sakura in ER knows nothing of it and we navigate through her dialogue to stay away from that topic.
So we put together the puzzles of their story, each and every person and how they interacted with rest of the 13 (lots of reading- not much animations) we get to know the ending of their first arc- their actual lives.
The second is in ER (Elysium Everlasting arc) where they sacrifice the whole elysian realm, their last legacy, all those people we met, uniting all thats left of them- to defeat herrscher of corruption of current era. (Thats why we see memories crack and wither away like burning photos in because of you animation. The eye is the herrscher. Love how artistic it looks when they use old anime style in one scene there (the 13 are previous era, old, nostalgic so it rly suits them🥰)
The line Kevin says that „there will never be a second elysia” really hits u in the spot. Cuz u met her, saw how genuine she is (Mei- who is the one experiencing the story of the 13- was in cold numb state of mind when she came to the ER- she joined the other side where Kevin was leader to stop Kiana from being suicidal. It was Elysia who sparked a lil life back in Mei’s dark world) and then u have to accept that there is nothing left of her. (Later Mei gets Elysia blessing and becomes Origin)
