Beautiful Sansevieria Plants. I am looking for the Sansevieria Whitney. I just started collecting the Sansevieria Plants around October 2020 during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Thank you for your information. Happy New Year 2021 with all the blessings from our HEAVEN FATHER.
:) I seriously have a love relationship with Sansevieria! :) Svetlana, Yep! The last but not least Sansavieria you showed was a Sansevieria Aubyrtiana. Sansevieria was the first plant that I kept alive! HA! No Lie! Thank you!!!
Your last plant is Sansevieria(genus) longiflora(species). To make of sure its ID we look at the inflorescence(Flower) which is different from aubrytiana(species) or hyacinthoedes(species).
Hi 😊 my plant family I love your collection they are beautiful don't worry we all lost plant each day we learn how to take care of our plants I am from Jamaica and love your video you see how they love 😍 you
I too love sansevierias! They make such a statement and so forgiving. Some of mine are over 20 years old... 👍 I love the way your whale fin twists, I think that makes it even more special! 😍
Omg I love sansevierias!! I have around 20 of them ( different kinds ) n have my favorites too 😊 Love your collection.. How about making a video of your current or updated collection?
I enjoy your channel and your passion for your plants. i will be watching for more content on how to grow my Sansevieria. I'm in NC 🇺🇸. I'm going to check out more of your videos.
Hi Svetlana, binge watching your videos that I have missed because life got in the way, I just want you to know that I am still here I haven't abandoned you, no way ! no how! I love you too much to just never return, lol. Wow, so many Sansevierias, I knew there were a lot of different ones just not that many, I only have the Moonshine Sansevieria and the Birdsnest Sansevieria which was my mom's so I have a piece of her and that is so special and there are three in the one pot. Your Metallica is so beautiful, love the kerkii green and copper, I have never seen either one of them in real life because I would probably have to grab them both. I think your Sansevieria Cylindrica is pretty and I just found one the other day, and I also love the one in the tiny pot, it is so adorable, I also found the Samurai Sansevieria, I think that Sansevieria is the Aubrytiana. Great video as usual Svetlana, always so good to see you, love and hugs now onto the other videos I have missed, bye for now.
Hi, love your collection! Just a few observations, the ‚cylindrica‘ is a Sansevieria fernwood, the sansevieria that looks like a flower bouquet are cylindrica cuttings with pups surrounding them, the trifasciatas with the yellow edges are Sansevieria trifasciata ‚laurentii‘, the long one from your mothers office is probably s. trifasciata ‚robusta‘ and the last is indeed s. aubrytiana. Amll trifasciatas are varieties of the trifasciata species and fernwood, cylindrica, masoniana and aubrytiana are different species. I was told that the Metallica you show here, is actually the variegated form of the aubrytiana so it is a s. Aubrytiana ‚metallica‘ and there is another species which is called s. Metallica, but looks quite different. You could cut a leaf of your Metallica and propagate it and it should give you aubrytiana pups. The variegation is not propagated by leaf cutting. I love sansevierias and they are very fascinating!
Hello Svetlana, loved seeing your Sans. collection . I am a new member, you can say, of the Sanseveria-smitten club after I almost killed our giant Sansevieria Kirkii Pulchra Coppertone which grew in our garden for decades and rescued it. This comment is in part to share with you the tip I learned after I saw your struggling yellow-at-the-base sanseveria in the video. So here is what happened. I over-watered and threw in a few pellets of DAP and the plant started shrivelling and dying to my horror. But I found a magic potion for all over-watered succulents, cacti, aloe, agave - you name it, basically any plant that stores sugar/food in its leaves. AND.....tralalala... the medicine is Hydrogen Peroxide. You get it in any chemist shop and I just added a teaspoon to a litre of water and added it to the soil near the roots and voila ! Within 2 weeks it sprang back to life. So there, now you know how to save a yellowing succulent or sanseveria. H2O2 ( Hydrogen Peroxide) works by killing the bacteria or fungus at the roots on contact and the roots get a new life. Also Phosphorus in the form of superphosphate is a great fertilizer for all sans/cactus as they form strong roots and helps in energy(sugar/polysaccharide) creation for storage. So now you know how to revive and kickstart new growth in such plants. Hope it helps a bit.
Hi. I bought today a sanseveiria superba, thought it was Laurentii at first coz almost the same. Still confuse what it is, probably it’s superba coz it’s shorter. It’s in a plastic pot but planted in a coconut husk or orchid bark not sure what u call it.. I need to know if I need to transfer it in soil and what mixture? What will I do with this orchid bark or coconut husk? Only if u have an idea. I’m a new plant mom. Tnx.
Nice collection, I only have 11, but I love them all. Only two repeats, and I agree that the Metalic and Bantel are a lot different. There are a few more that I’d love to find, one like Pammy’s Planty things. I don’t remember the name of it right now, but I think Planting Memories has one too. Have fun with your collecting and your party.
Love your little reference book with illustrations Svetlana. I have spotted that Whale fin in the background a number of times and always thought how big it looked!
Thank you! I like to do more research on plants and then right down something interesting I get to know about them ☺️ and that fin is a show stopper for sure 🥰
You look Beautiful. Have a great time. My husband doesn't like Sansevieria. I lost his Parsley Aralia and was happy to find some Awesome ones today. I enjoyed your video and your collection.

Yes, I thought so too.😀. I do not have one. I thought I did but after some research it turned out to be Sansevieria Bacularis. Svetlanas collection makes me want them ALL!
Fantastic video!! So impressed with your comparison between the Metallica and Bantell Sensation. I have a brand new Sayuri, it also looks like the Metallica.

Here's a tip if you tend to overwater: switch your soil mixture! Make it more drain- able. Add more perlite and orchid bark to your soil. Check out Kaylre Ellen's soil mixture for her aroids and apply the base mixture to your soil. If your soil drains faster then you wont have to worry about the water sitting there and soaking the roots. 😃
that sick plant looks like there might be spider mites mine looked like that and did some spider mite stuff and there just a lot of spider mites all over the pot
I honestly disliked sansevierias. And then I saw a moonshine sansevieria. And as soon as I saw it, I liked the green hue it has. And looked cute. Long story short, I now have 3 sansevierias 😆 the most recent one is a metallica.
I. Feel. The. STRUGGLE. Of having a room too dark to have plants. For me, I'm filling them with low light and temperature ferns, which are going well for me! Edit: I think the small pot at 17:00 has two kinds of sanseveria... The spear like ones at the back and the kind of starfish ones at the frount.
I never tried ferns before, maybe should give it a go. And I dont think so, the first leaves in front plants are more flat, but the newest ones, the third ones are coming out cylindric, so I think its just the first leaves of a single plant are a bit different. But I might be wrong, time will show 🤔🙂
@@fireflyintheroom I think you should try ferns! For low light, the fishbones are the best I've found, and they're super easy to take care of! All you need to do is make sure you water them as soon as they dry out, but they're a pretty hardy fern.

@@fireflyintheroom I think you should try ferns! For low light, the fishbones are the best I've found, and they're super easy to take care of! All you need to do is make sure you water them as soon as they dry out, but they're a pretty hardy fern.
Nice info frnd and nice collection of plants 👍😊stay connected with my channel

You are beautiful. I wonder why Lithuania is not sending a representative in Miss Universe anymore.
Lots of info! Thanks! But you talk too much and waste viewers time. Try to be compact.
You are too funny

Lol you make me want to go dig some up, pot them up and bring them inside so off I go.
You are so lucky to be able grow them outside! 😲🥰
Give them away..don't let them die. What's the matter with you.....and how about using artificial lights.
