    According to Succulents Box all sempervivum are monocarpic while echeveria are not. So you shouldn't have to worry about your Echeveria dying after flowering, at least not because they flowered.
    Love your beautiful succulents! You've renewed my interest in echeveria. I had gotten so frustrated with them dropping leaves and getting leggy that I had all but given up and gone entirely to cacti. Because of your videos I have been thrifting bowls and other vessels and have been buying up echeveria at my local big box stores and nurseries!

      I'm the least worried about plants flowering/dying. I was referring to other people who freaks out when their succulents start flowering. I'm glad you're giving Echeveria another chance as they can be very rewarding to grow. Thanks for watching.

    They are so informative, I just started my succulent journey but I live all the way in Africa and I can't get these special succulents so I am glad I get to see them on your channel.

      Thanks for watching Jane and glad you enjoyed my videos. Most of these special succulents came from humble beginnings. Most of them are hybrids of common ones. One can grow these by cross pollinating the flowers and come up with one's own special plant.

    How come your succulents seem to love the rain & mine rotted with 1 over watering? The mix I used was a nice succulent mix with good drainage. Xx

    • @GrowingSucculentswithLizK
      @GrowingSucculentswithLizK  Год назад

      There are so many different succulents, and they all have varying needs. Some prefer to be watered after repot, others need to be left to dry out for a few days. Different succulents also have different soil mix requirements. Best to know the exact name of the plant first.

      Monstrous or monstrose is a mutation that makes the plant grow or form into unusual shape. They usually look fatter and deform than the normal plant.
