Madonna arriving at my school by helicopter: Friday 11th of June, 2010. She was playing a charity gig just down the road, at a school which teaches children with severe and pronounced learning difficulties. As it used to be Princess Diana's school before closing to reopen as a specialist school, Mohamed al Fayed became a benefactor and supported it as a memorial to Di arguing that the work done there was the best memorial possible to her.
Presumably that is why Madge came in the Air Harrods helicopter and ours was the only field close enough to land on.
