guys let me tell you the #1 tip thatll make u love me. Say your downloading the game to a slow sd card and fitgirl takes forever. what i did was go into game mode press play on it set it up and go into settings on it and bump it up fully (click manual gpu clock and tdp limit and set them to max 15w, 1600mhz hope this helps❤
I did the first method. It worked for Little Kitty,Big City but Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 will not work. It starts and does the tutorial race and then to the main home hub but when i choose to go into the campaign it goes to a black screen and has the press A to skip at bottom but does nothing when i press A. It gets hung there and only way off it is to hold down deck power button till it shuts off and reboot deck. Any way to fix this? Edit: I got it working. Had to reboot the deck for the Proton install to show up in list. i was clicking on 9.2 thinking that was the one i downloaded and it wouldnt work. rebooted and now the 9.7 showed up and works. weird how 9.7 is only one works on HW Unleashed 2 but games that just came out run fine on experimental.

Glad it works, and yes older titles may have issues but you can try different prontons like version 7. If you issues with license you need to find another crack source like empress fitgirl or rune

Hi, trying to run Prototype 2 downloaded from Fitgirl repack. Didn't work via the steam method. On lutris it says Invalid Wine prefix path. Make sure to create the prefix before saving it to a registry. How to solve this? I did like shown in the video just replaced the name with "Prototype 2" instead of GOW...
@@Robinss0n nope, I think using a version of the game that was incomplete or didn't work or maybe it was fitgirl probably messed with steam now no matter what version I try it doesn't work

@jontechie oh sorry. When installing the game, i can find "deck" in the path with the "home" folder just fine. But not the games folder. However, in the files window. I can't find the deck folder to create the games folder. Does that make sense? 😅 Just want to know what path should i add the games folder to

@@jontechie Just incase anyone out there can use this, try launching the game with wine if proton dosent work. Worked for me. Added to steam with litrus to run with wine after to get it to work in steamOS.

You can do both but I recomment you download on other pc and install the game there first then copy the game folder to steam deck

Yes. You can add any App/Game to steam by simply right click on it in desktop and click on "add to steam"

Check first if its an iso file then you need to extract it first. I had a separate tutorial for that please check the discription
