- This video was requested by viewers! I mentioned that I was going to reorganize and label all the drawers in my supply room (AKA the old craft room) I asked my sat chat viewers if they wanted to see it and they said yes so today I will show you what I have been working on over the past week. It's kind of like an organization vlog.
Most of my storage products have been scrounged (literally found on the side of the road or stuff no longer wanted in the rest of the house) but here are a few store-bought things you might find useful:
Iris carts are available in lots of different drawer sizes and combinations. I find the shallower drawers the most useful but I use some deep ones too. The casters can be removed for stacking too! • Video
9-cube units (I use these for my craft island table legs, you can also find ones with larger openings that will hold scrapbook papers) amzn.to/3ukzjbF
*I use hollow-core luan doors as tables, they were salvaged sliding closet doors.
I also use wire cubes, they can be rearranged infinitely and stored in a small space when not in use. These come in different sizes so check before ordering if you need them to be wider. Mine are i4"x14" panels I think: amzn.to/3oOYdPo
I also use a lot of recycled boxes and plastic square baskets from the dollar tree. Dollar tree storage is great and I recommend buying a bunch of the same color if you like it as they sell out fast.
This is more of a storage area than art studio so it isn't important that it looks perfect. I just need to be able to find things and put them away quickly.

I love that you’re showing a crafting area that is filled with bits and pieces from around the house. Not everyone has the means or opportunity to do a room in Ikea or similar. So thank you for showing this.

I love seeing your stash room because it's not the pretty all-white interior designed space that so many of the professional designers showcase. Your stash is a livable, usable, not as expensive space that is more like what I (and probably others) can afford. Your space is one that I could aspire to emulate in organization and labelling. (Though I need less in opaque drawers 'cause I am definitely a "I need to see it to use it" type of person.)

I lOVE LOVE LOVE to see your Real craft space. It is what mine looks like. Dressers, plastic drawers, shelves, etc all stacked Tetris style. You make me feel normal. I don't like looking at the pristine all white IKEA rooms. I will never be able to afford it. Ok, lets be real. I will Never spend money on the fanciness storage when I could be getting more dies or stamps or inks. you spark joy. Just be you. You spark joy.😊.

Nobody in an office apologizes for their office supplies, and no laywers or doctors apologize for their plethora of books, so you're good! Not that you need anyone to tell you that, least of all me! Oh Lindsay you make me laugh. I re-organize my studio the same way you do...on a wing and a prayer. LOL. I love your cat storage. I actually made an old dresser drawer a permanent storage space for my cats. It included a soft pillow and a fuzzy blanket. It's their favorite place to be in the studio.
Thank you for sharing this space with us. I really enjoy organizing myself. I like taking advantage of every little space and creating my own storage solutions. It was fun to see your old studio again.
