As a Packer fan.. Goddamn its hard not to like Zimmer. I am jealous..He is a badass coach and the right hard ass a team needs. He also shows love for his guys so you know it comes from the heart when he gets pissed. Vikings have a good future with this guy..
I'm a Vikes fan. And I agree with you about Zimmer. He reminds me of how they portrayed Herb Brooks in the movie Miracle. Blunt, stubborn, and a major hard ass most of the time. But only because he is so passionate about winning games. Ultimately, he is an excellent coach who puts absolutely everything he has into forging the best team possible.
@@ezln6122 I thought it aged fine. He had one of the most feared defenses up until he was decimated with injuries his last year with the core of his defense, then it all came apart. Zim did great things for the Vikings. Sounds like not everyone liked him, but thats how hardass coaches are.
Mike Zimmer took a franchise that had been lost, picked it up, and turned it around. Also creating one of the NFL's better defenses. The vikings are a relatively young team, specifically on defense, and I predict they'll be a force to be reckoned with next year.
Love or hate him, I love a coach like Zimmer. I Had one like him in High School. The kinda Coach you would run through a wall for because you knew he had your back. It was my HS School head Coach, Bud Grant and my father that influenced me as male role models growing up
I remember when he was the defensive Coordinator for the Bengals and they took on the bear in Cincinnati. That defense was playing on all cylinders. 2009 45-10 score
Mike Zimmer is awesome, Norv Turner on the other hand, is terrible. Every week his play calling is the same, run, run, pass. And if the first run loses yards, then it is run, pass, pass. And on top of that he basically tells the other team what play he is running. If it is a run, it will always be i formation with AP in the backfield. If it is a shotgun, it is a guaranteed pass. Also, if AP comes out for a play, it is a pass. If they do pass it, you can count on Teddy being either sacked after half a second, or him getting himself into a sack by not throwing it. Also, Teddy is MUCH better throwing out of the shotgun than under center, yet 70% of his passes are from under center. This offense has been pathetic all season, and after all this time people finally realize it because it took a good team to shut them out. And it isn't just Norv either, his son Scott Turner still hasn't addressed the obvious problems with Teddy's accuracy. And whoever the OL coach is hasn't done a good job with them either. If I were the Vikings owner, I would fire Norv Turner if this offense fails again to produce anything. And if things don't get better, with teddy, Scott Turner too. Along with other offensive coaches.
AP or Dalvin? AP All day. The one game i will never forget is them playing the Chargers. I seen Walter Payton of the bear set the Record in a game against a Fran Tarkenton less team due to him having his leg break vs the Bengals in a blowout. Then Adrian got hot and Brad Childress at the time kept feeding him the ball. Omg, the roof should have collapsed because of all that noise. That would come years later

I think everything was going good. Zimmer was building something, but then Rick blew it up by getting Kirk. Now Zimmer is hanging on by a thread of what left he had built.
Welcome back to Dallas

@@packersinhd no his schemes became outdated and it was shown in the nfc championship against Philly hell even in the 2nd collapse against the saints.
love this coach!
As a Die hard Vikings fan Coach Zimmer is what we need!!!! AP had the offer to remain a Viking he blew it

nice prediction lol
… You Lidget predicted our 2017 season
Dg was better
lmao still?
Back to being young
We haven’t won a Super Bowl yet but god dang it. Best coach the Vikes got so far in my generation
In Zimmer we trust.
Zim is tied for being my favorite coach of all time with a guy named Bud.
He is no Bud Grant but nice try.
I think Zim was a better coach than we give him credit for. It didn't help that he and Spielman were not on the same page.
Great Coaches are like Great Parents, they tell you what you need to hear!!! Not what you want to hear!!! 💎😭💎

I love coach ZIMMER. I’m a packer fan as well. He’s a mans man. A good guy and I wish he wasn’t our adversary!
That's my coach
I was so mad when Blair walshed missed the goal
Good coach
This has aged interestingly after his firing.... even the comments

No one with a brain would ever even compare the two.
I know coach McCarthy loves him as well
That fiesty passion wasn't there by the end
Zimmer feels like 2020 Bud Grant. You don't want to mess with him.
i miss teddy so much
Teddy sucked
I wonder what he was like after Sunday 😂
Adrian Peterson called out his coach, look it up.
+Bender Rodriguez I don't know if you watch First Take on ESPN, but Stephen A Smith, a analyst, said Adrian Peterson called out his coach.

Over rated! Can’t win the big games. Looks lost n big moments of big games. His defense fails miserably when the game is on line. Time to let him go.
