We are on our way from the Oktoberfest and trip through Bavaria and this is one of THE best guides out there for navigating the festival for 1st timer’s like us. We certainly found it extremely helpful.
Just to help out. The spaten tent does not have a pig on the roteseri. It has a cow/ox. If you go to the kitchen in that tent u will see several Whole cows on roteseries.
I spent my second night this past Oktoberfest in the Ochsenbraterai along with my wife and her girlfriend and we cannot recommend it enough! We happened there during the busy Deutschen Einheit holiday and this was both a bad and happy happenstance - we had a tough time at first finding a big tent where we could find a place (struck out at 4 other places), but one of the waitresses at the ochsenbraterai saw my wife craning her neck, asked her how many she had with her, told her “follow me!” And bulldozed her way through and found us a spot right in the middle of the floor! She was great and we were probably there for 7 hours having a great time! Spaten is not usually my go-to German big beer, but we went through buckets that night. People were awesome, beer was great, the tent was beautiful, and the band and show they put on was amazing!

We are so glad you enjoyed it! I just read that 12 million liters of beer were consumed - WOW!
Nice job with the video! Learned some new things, going to Oktoberfest in a couple weeks.
Thanks - I am sure you will enjoy!

My goodness!! I didn't realize that - thanks for the correction!
Correct Ochsenbraterei tent, ochsen is oxen.👍🏽
