It would become very nice situation if USA did not froze the assets of Afghanistan. Former government got the money and there were corruption, and, now, here is no corruption but the money is not here. And, the reality is, this video shows about Kabul, not the whole Afghanistan. Other provinces like Kandahar those are dependent on agriculture not to the foreign aid.

The US supported Islamic fundamentalists in Afghanistan during the 1970s in order to destabilize the country as it had a pro-Soviet government. This undermined the significant progressive advancements the country had made in the 1950s and 1960s. This worsened as the CIA funneled funds and arms towards regional warlords during the Soviet invasion, and by the 1990s the country was in shambles. By the time the US invaded in 2001 it was mostly run by the Taliban with a small area run by tribalist warlords.

When Afghanistan is weak and suffering we put sanctions on them we block their medication and let them go weaker and sicker even further. Ever since the first British put his foot on the soil of the subcontinent, not a single word of encouragement has been said about them. We must realize that talibans are only a part of Afghanistan.Afghanistan is a country full of gentle souls, men and women who are fathers and mothers trying to find some food, any food, to feed their families.None of them is interested in the western assertions about education. They are a very intelligent nation . They know their priorities better than we do. The west and North America should extend a true hand of friendship and care and assure them that we mean good. Open their routes to traders, offer them your enormous knowledge and expertise and help them like you did in the Marshal plan for Germany. Then see what happens. Kindness with sincerity. That’s the language they understand. Not force. Their first need is food and medicine.Doctors, teachers to show them trades and nurses to teach nursing. Our Prophet's wife was a businesswoman and the other wife was a scholar and 1/3 of Islamic beliefs are based on that Prophet's wife's testimonies and sayings. But, an Amazing and unfortunate thing in my religion is, it is hijacked by scary Mullas and Ayatolla's who think if a woman somehow gets educated, their authorities will be challenged. So far they have been successful in keeping Women away from Education. This is the story.

Thing was Trump himself signed the withdrawal order when he was president, he made a deal with the Taliban or whatever. Obviously Taliban DGAF about no deals, and the next president and his administration likely had so many things going on, Biden is seriously old, a senior citizen, and he had to withdraw by that date, and so they withdrew on time
But if something was to change, Biden and generals should’ve saw that the Taliban did not keep their part of that deal, can’t remember, and reverse the withdrawal, but everything was already withdrawn, time was running short to withdraw, tons of troops already withdrawn and all located in that air base ready to leave, and crucial bases were already destroyed, so staying in Afghanistan would’ve meant far more decades of carrying the Afghans… maybe even a century seeing how Afghan people are, them being very tribal people and a tribal society. ANA inside attacks, still being a least developed country according to UN, mudhut rural tribal people, things like that, very exhausting 😴 😴
In the end for the Afghans, apparently only the ANA Commandos fought and die, while the ANA and Afghan police deserted and vanished into thin air, Afghan president evacuated… those ANA Commandos if they weren’t given the order to surrender could’ve made a proper last stand in Kabul and imagine they had reinforcements of the ANA and Afghan police, like how the Germans fought till the end in Berlin despite knowing the end was near, but that deal with the Talibs… I think the ANA elites got hunted down one by one shortly after Kabul fell by the Talibs. Poor Afghans 😢

So, the taliban weren’t really there during the Soviet Union they were called the mujahadeen which were fighters against the Russians and of course afghans supported them because they were our country fighters against the oppressors at the time but then after the war they dispersed and some went on to regroup those solders and create what today is known as the taliban, but because we’ve been constantly invaded and occupied by foreigners the afghans got sick of it and preferred the taliban over foreigners stealing our oil, treasure etc so you have to look at it both ways

True, when you've been fighting for more than 60 years, how can you then all of a sudden become an accountant, tax advisor or even hold office without knowing wtf to do.
What we should do is observe, rather than interject. Let them figure it out for themselves, help where we can (medical, food etc.) but let them figure it out for themselves. No rush.

Unlike Vietnam which had a culture that copied much of the Western Culture, Knowledge, and technology with a vital education system, Afghanistan has an 11th-century culture that rejects Western enlightened modernity. The 7th-century books they follow don't contain the knowledge necessary for even clean water systems. We tried giving money and education, but it didn't work. Perhaps just isolating them until their failure becomes obvious to the starving people will be required. Remember Mao had to starve 35 million people before the Chinese woke up to the fact that central leadership has poor outcomes and the more western economic values create wealth.
