That is so gorgeous. I love the movement and subtle colour. It's very special.
I have been focusing on getting projects finished this year. I find that having contrasting yarns and techniques on the go at the same time works for me. I'm currently working on a crochet v stitch wrap, a teeny raffia 'fairy' basket, some chunky front post - back post crochet wrist warmers and a little drawstring bag shaped like a sheep. I keep them in separate fabric bags, so I can take them out with me if needed and I don't lose the hook😂
Crochet has been a total lfe saver for me through tough times. Getting by, one stitch at a time brings calm and positivity.
I recently learned how to crochet flowers and have made some garlands for friends. I'm going to put some in a run down part of town too, to cheer it up.

The lace section has a K3pass stitch. This was a new stitch for me. It is a simple stitch that makes a beautiful lace. Thank you so much for all the wonderful patterns you and the designers share. Every chance I get I tell people about EFA. Not only about the you tube channel but also and most important the most scrumptious hand dyed yarn. You, Tim, and your staff have one of the best small family businesses that are out there. I buy almost all my hand dyed yarns from you and one other indy dyer. I'm very picky when it comes to hand dyed yarn. Funny enough both of you are located in the eastern and considered southern part of the US. Since I'm in Michigan that means a lot. OK enough rambling. Indeed, but I keep coming back to that blue which connects everything: a hint here, a tease there; color combinations I wouldn’t have thought of during my time as a graphic designer. And now, decades later, I did a head slap, knowing I likely hadn’t used color in so elemental a manner. Simplicity is the most difficult thing to design.

I’ve been knitting socks and I’m learning to work cables, holding a cable needle both in the front and back as well as holding the knitting needle too. It’s a bit tricky for me but I love learning all the new things that knitting holds for me. I love your videos as well as your yarn. I’ve been buying it for years nite and it’s always my favorite yarn!! In fact, the sick kits I’ve been getting have your yarn in some of them!! God bless you and Tim!!

    Dear Chandi,
Your intros are more beautiful and inspiring every time❤.
This is one of the most complicated stitches I learned from you. But I am tempted to try it as I received my signature fingering yarn a while ago and have not started antything with it yet.
I am currently knitting the journey shawl (which is just sooo beautiful , complete with the story and everything) - it is the first time I actually follow a written pattern. Until now I simply used the stitches I learned from you for inspiration for my projects.

Chandi, you make knitting look so easy. I have never tried knitting German short rows. I will give it try eventually after I finish all of my other knitting projects. I did learn something new from you on how to add beads to a shawl. I tried the crochet hook as you demonstrated in your video, but when I tried I was all thumbs and would have to worry about losing the stitch. I came across another technique using a thin wire to hold the stitch and feed the bead onto the shawl and it works. No more worrying about dropping a stitch where I can enjoy knitting my shawl.☺

I've learned how to make a stitch that I think is called "the heart stitch" but I'm not really sure if it has an "official" name - it's a lace design worked on two stitches and two rows (so four stitches total, 2 on each of 2 rows) and makes this perfect, symmetrical open lacy heart shape! I've got in mind to design a wedding shawl (such as for the hand fasting ceremony, or the tallit shawl in Jewish weddings) using entirely this stitch, perhaps with the exception of a simple border to give the edges some stability and structure, with some fine-gauge (and fine quality!) yarn. I think it's the perfect application for such a special, unique stitch and I'm really excited about the project! Lacy knitting was always very intimidating for me, so I avoided it for several years, but now that I learned this stitch, I see it's not actually as scary and difficult as I thought it would be. So not only did I discover a specific stitch I love, I feel like it's given me confidence to try a whole world of new sorts of stitches in the future. (P.S. I also recently learned rigid heddle weaving and love it so much, and I am about to try my hand at weaving on a table loom next - that is, when I have the free time between work and my kids. Weaving is faster than knitting, but involves *sooo* much more prep work/set up before you can get to the good stuff! ;) )
