I think it's because she won already, the battle was not winning the competition as much as it was beating the things that was holding her back. Kelly was instrumental making her realize that she is a winner even without the crown

Kelly is an AMAZING coach an she really brought out the best and the strongest side of Bella. I still can't believe she didn't win, she KILLED every single song and her notes were on point!

because most of votes are probably young girls. And that is why the guy won. like when Adam Lambert came in 2nd he he had the best voice but all the girls liked the other guy Cause he was cute. And Lambert went on to end up singing with Queen while the other guy kind of faded in the dust.

Someone else said 1st place is stuck in a contract w the network so maybe the judges vote the best person for 2nd so they can be independent and successful with their own music the way they want to be.

Absolutely phenomenal, I am literally speechless. I watched this when it aired here in Adelaide, Australia and it gave me goosebumps, it still does to this day. Sucks she came second again, hope she is doing well nowadays.
