Have Hulk as a variant in another dimension actually volunteering in the Avengers, they turning down the offer, and Bruce ends up suing them with his cousin Jennifer representing him in court. Panic ensues at the hearing day with their rogue gallery attacking, fill from there.
Fun facts about the original Avengers comics: 1. Hulk was a founding Avenger, Cap wasn't. 2. Hulk spoke full sentences 3. Hulk was only an Avenger for two issues and then dipped, so for almost 50 years he actually *wasn't* an Avenger. 4. Hulk and Namor the Sub-Mariner once teamed up to defeat the Avengers in revenge and they actually *won* . EDIT: Correction, Hulk and Namor *almost* won. Frankly, I thought it was an incredibly one-sided battle in their favor with the Avengers really getting their asses kicked, but Hulk randomly turned back into Banner and Namor just happened to be out of water for too long, apparently.

Reminds me of, in Avengers Earth’s Mightiest Heroes when Tony is scanning some radiation and Hulk, just sitting at the table, says it’s a form of cosmic radiation. It completely catches Tony off guard- “uhh, yeah, it looks like it is. How’d you know?” I find underestimating Hulk to be hilarious.
Banner probably only needed a glimpse of it before talking Hulk's ear off about the significance, and Hulk shared the info just so he didn't have to sit through the same lecture twice :P
I love how he says cave man like sentences and follows it up with intelligent information, like when he said: "Hulk no need to fly, hulk jump high in the air" Followed by "More cost effective than jet fuel" Really catches you off guard
It's funny because propositionally, the way hulk talks gets the message across just as well as including the verb "do", which all it does is acquire the present tense markings that aren't really needed to get the message across. "Hulk does not need a hammer" portrays the same information as "hulk no need hammer".

In comics, this is actually 100% true, hulk is actually one of if not the most op character in the comics, if he went all out he can easily fight superman to a stand still. I love how despite EVERYTHING Hulk showed in his arsenal, the PHD is what got them to consider him. Hulk's tiny pen to truly is mightier than his Chrystler-Building-sized sword.
I love it to. And it's logical! No matter what, throwing a semi-truck will for sure outdo a shield. Maybe Cap should spend some more time in the gym, maybe then he could toss something like a car.
Even Hulk knows the justice system smashes harder than him. Also the fact that thor looks like he's speaking in an echo chamber just makes this 100 times better.

@@OK-yy6qz It's not that he was subverting anything but that the character has been brutally flanderized and in most interpretations it's simplified instead of explored which is a shame
Apparently, one core theme that Stan Lee wanted to bring for the Hulk was miscommunication. The Hulk is intelligent in his earliest appearances of the 1960s. However, due to his appearance and strength, people immediately assumed he was simply destructive and violent and attacked him. It was basically predating the X-Men and its themes on racism and prejudice by a whole year.

Reminds me of Potemkin from Guilty Gear. Guy loves to draw but is such an absolute unit that he has to have specially made utensils to be able to properly pursue his hobby.

Not that Hulk can do much with Iron Man's armor. Bruce can but not Hulk.
@@mattwo7 he could sue for the hulkbuster and the rights required to build it, that way tony loses one of his strongest suits, plus he could sue because tony used hulks name for it without permission or payment
@@omn1cr0ngaming66 I don’t think he can sue for that unless he made it.

Hulk: Hulk cousin is lawyer.
I cracked up the whole time but I love Thor talking old style the whole time then just dropping it for 'Well that was pretty unexpected' at the end LOL
"I mean, compared to him, we're just a couple of CHUMPS!!!!"
That line, FLOORED me!
Somehow "Hulk will see you in court" became more terrifying than "Hulk smash"
He knows a good lawyer too
His cousin is a ace lawyer
@@olajuwonspruill4412 there is another good one in hells kitchen.
Do you want to strong-armed them because he knows the law or strong arm on especially because he has a certain friend who’s an absolute hawk on Allah
The best part is imagining Hulk dressed up in a formal suit a few sizes too small for him sitting in a tiny chair barely able to hold up his weight next to his very nervous lawyer in the courtroom while very articulately explaining why he's been discriminated against to the judge lmao
Nah the lawyer wouldn't be shaking because it would be hulk's cousin she-hulk a very good lawyer and also capable of using the 4th wall in fact she was Marvel's No.1 4th breaker/manipulator before Deadpool took over that role

So true lol
Id rather get sent to a hospital than to be bombarded with legal fees for damages for the rest of my life
If he has a PHD he can write, so guessing he 'physically' can't write is what he meant. Not easy for a guy with massive hands plus a theoretical infinite level of strength, writing is probably not easy to do with most pens and pencils.
True , just a tiny puny bit of strength will snap the pen in half
Reminds me of Potemkin from Guilty Gear. Guy loves to draw but is such an absolute unit that he has to have specially made utensils to be able to properly pursue his hobby.
Hence the "unfair hiring practices" part most likely.
Just get him an adamantium or vibranium pen,it could hold for some time.
Exactly. That's why he's suing for unfair hiring practices. He's not illiterate, he's physically incapable of writing. He's still fully qualified, they are refusing to hire him on the basis of an irrelevant 'disability'.
His cousin is a lawyer, so...yeah, I'd suggest that you guys pick up the slack.
Oh yeah!
She-Hulk is a great attorney.
Maybe they can get Matt Murdock lol
@@cosmicmcmoon5773 Except that he only defends innocent people, plus she did managed to beat him one time in the comics sooo… Might aswell get phoenix weight when their at it. Lmao
What makes this all the funnier is that, canonically, in the 60s Hulk was actually smart and would saay complete and coherent sentences like those lmao
For being an illiterate guy, Hulk is pretty succesfull in life. He definitely demonstrated that he is the most understanding Avenger. Instead of punching them into oblivion, he resorted to a legal action, because he does not seek to win. He seeks justice. He is a true hero!
Actually I think it's due to disability with his large hands to hold a pen.
plot twist: he is NOT illiterate, he's too strong to use a pencil and paper
He destroys his enemys with facts and logic no writing needed.
This is why they sent Hulk to space and killed him prior to Civil War 1 and 2.
Hm.
