I survived this horrible infection in 2015. My whole thigh was affected but the doctor was able to save my leg but it left me disfigured and in pain.
I saw your comment on another video. Happy to hear you are healed and no amputation. No more swimming in large water bodies now.
I survived a bacteria in 2006 I caught a bacteria on my ring finger that almost cost my life. I ripped a cuticle and my finger got infected I had to get admitted at Long Island Jewish Medical to save my life. My doctors concerns was that if the bacteria keeps running it get in to my blood. I had my finger ampututed. But I have to thank God and my surgeon who did a good job even I have a finger ampututed and a skin graph on my left hand wrist but I am alive.
She's so beautiful and young, I'm so sorry that happened to her but proud of how a fighter she is.
Good message-- help others to forget yr pain

Living in ATL, I have been following this amazing young lady since the inception of her accident. She is the epitome of strength, and she is a living testament that God ALWAYS brings something good out of a tragedy. God bless her!

This is horrible don't get me wrong and feel bad for her but why is she creepily super happy? I mean really if I was quadruple amputate I would not be loving life. I hear so many people with horrific injuries thanking god for saving their life.....like REALLY id be cursing him out. I hope if I ever get flesh eating bacteria I hope I die before they start amputating limbs. Saving your life is nothing if you cant even do the basic things in life. Better off dying and reincarnating an new body rather than being trapped in a mutilated body for the rest of your miserable life.
Octopus She has a particular combination of 1) tragedy and 2) a very optimistic motivated attitude / personality, etc.
We're not like that, and importantly, we don't have to be like that, and we don't have to feel guilty for not being like her.
People tell us not to compare ourselves to others, but they go right ahead and compare us with people like her.
We can take whatever approach or reaction or response to life that we want, and I for one, walk away from people who criticise and judge my doubts and lack of hope.
She is loved by God and the people around her..
She is grateful for everything and focused on helping herself and others. It is refreshing.

Amazing strength. Hopefully there won't be a bioweapon arms race based on these devastating microbes; however, a sperm- or testicle-eating GMO bacteria can probably do wonders for the global (over)population problem. The first country that develops such a technology WINS BIG TIME.
