(Go on and compare performances prior to 2018, though technically perfect they were all quite stale in comparsin to what happened in 2018). Brava queen! Sharieh Binsuan she actually prefers a wired microphone for several reasons :) She’s actually had wireless microphones fail on her a few times before, such as in 2004 Grammys in 2013 concert... she also likes to play with the wire with her other hand so that it doesn’t feel weird not holding anything because she’s used to it. It’s also better sound quality in every way
i'm a big fan of Celine. Sometimes she does lipsync just like Mariah. They need to take good care of their instruments that's why we could still hear her beautiful voice.
it is live but not 100%. 2:24 is pre recorded. i know how her face looks reaching those notes in live but this one seems effortless to her. It was perfectly executed so you can't really notice it right away but notice when she said "that's right" too early while her vocals are still on play. Apparently, she can really sing this live perfectly but chose not to do so she can rest her voice for the next concerts. If I were her I would do the same, it's not easy to travel around the world and sing those high notes every now and then. It's just too straining for her. At the end of the day, who cares? She's still the one singing it. She's also human, a real human inside and out. And we love her for that.

Don't know what the lip synch issue has to do with this perofromance TBH. I've watched ceveral performances of this tune from this era and they all differ somewhat - though all way better than any prior to 2018 IMHO.
Live ito. May mga hindi saktong notes. It doesn't make sense na lip sync pero may mga sablay na notes. Also, you can't fake neck tension. Try niyo ngang mag lip sync with neck tension. LOL

Celine dion is always preferred to a wired microphone because evertime she does a concert she do live. She don't do lip sync it was live.
