    You had an exciting day afield. Labs make great grouse dogs if trained properly I've had flushers and pointers -I lean to pointers a little more but a great video and looking forward to more. Good luck on your out west hunt.

      @@garya9875 yes they certainly do, some day I would love to pick up a springer spaniel again, but my wife is against white hair in the house.

    Beautiful hunt! How are you guys doing with Ticks up there? Really bad over here in New England for man and dog.

      @@hyunsyu they were terrible all fall, but they were not bad the last weekend I was out. Hopefully they are gone for the year now.

      @ Yeah. Still pretty bad over here, basically drowning our cloths in Permethrin and thoroughly checking every inch of the dogs after. A few weeks back my buddies and I made it no more than 100 yards and decided it was too much and retreated. I remember as a kid in the 80’s not having to worry about Ticks. Oh well.

      @ we had zero deer ticks up in Northern Minnesota when I was a kid as well. The warm winters and high deer numbers really exploded the tick population in the early 2000s.
