The first two Hooked on Classics albums I played almost continuously on my Walkman as a young teen in the early/mid '80's. I found them utterly transformative... but then again, I've never been particularly normal. XD
My father had the original Hook on classics. I remember him playing them when he first got them. I immediately enjoyed listening to classical music because of these albums and began doing research on them to find out more about the classic composers. ( Way before the internet. ) I myself first took music lessons when I was 5 and use to play four instruments. I am proud to remain open minded about everything and now enjoys all types of music, genres etc. going back probably throughout the years and still continue to even now.

I liked this because it didn’t have as frantic a tempo as the first Hooked on Classics. All the albums are great to walk and exercise to. They are uplifting, and such a pleasure to listen to. The classics are genius.

I loved it. I own all the Hooked on Classics, Hooked on Swings, Stars on 45, and one called High on America. All on vinyl and still play. Love the mixes. I do not see this one released to vinyl. Wish it was
I think on the originals, if they offered a version without the drum beat, it would actually be more epic... regardless i grew up with #1... and was ecstatic when I found out there was an entire series of them... now I have most on Vinyl record and CD!

Excelentes partituras pero me gustaria añadir y no es crítica destructiva sinó constructiva, el acompañamiento no suena muy bién comparado con la calidad de la pieza que son muy buenas sin este repicar creo que ganaria en calidad, es mi opinión siempre con el el debido respeto.
no es orquesta sinfónica, solo es música de sintetizadores o a lo mucho la computadora con samples, definitivamente no llena ni los arreglos de los originales

I really don't like this arrangement, but the original 80's version. Yeah, the hi-hat is crispier, kick-drum has more punch, but so what? No way but the old one.
Fake? Original Hook on classics is real orchestra and no change rhythm. But, this is synthesizer sound. Tempo is broken. This is not Hook on classics. Sound is like a Maximianno Cobra, tempo is cheep poor pops orchestra.
