AG1 will make a lot of money but will be banned by the authorities eventually, because they are just selling a placeholder product in the ever repeating pyramid scheme business model. In the last decade they brought out countless products like these, making huge profits on it and got away with a little slap on the wrist and getting one company closed down, resulting in....they let another company being opened with rotating the person who is in charge on paper. They break the law, because it is worth to.
I tried it for two months. I felt like I did notice a slight improvement in terms of energy levels but it was hardly worth the cost in my opinion. Mind you my diet is already 85% clean and I'm well trained for 5 years now. I went back to supplementing with a multivitamin, vitamin d3, zink, fish oil & magnesium with the main purpose being keeping my test consistent. Far cheaper and works well.
@@ratking927 My current vitamin/mineral supplement routine costs me somewhere around 30€ a batch. That is only because I buy higher quality ones. @ratking927 i own my own online health store and have worked in the supplement industry for 10 years. His list is rather quite affordable for supplements. Now it does come down to the brand/quality, but zinc, magnesium, and vitamin d are super affordable. Fish oil and multi vitamin are where it picks up a bit. I am plant based and at 53, ex military and have spent 30 odd years kickboxing, boxing, triathlons, major endurance cycle rides and will ride 990 miles in 9 days this year so training for that. Your review is valid but only from one point of view. I already eat lots of plants, nuts, seeds. legumes etc but I can't get B12 without supplements and other nutrients without a more controlled diet which is difficult due to family and work. All I can say is anecdotal, I feel better when I take it. Simple.
I live in Canada, and other similar greens powders are not much cheaper tbh. Been using AG1 for a year now, also I’ll add I did get sucked into it 😅…but with that being said it has definitely helped me. It helped regulate my appetite and stomach issues have got better. I also still eat a fairly good balanced diet most of the time. I had an extensive bloodwork done and all my vitamin/mineral levels were bang on… so take what you want from that
Great review & summary. It's always baffled me why AG1 hasn't got more flack before now And now I understand why theyve managed to get such insanely high profile product placement on respectable podcasts
Interesting how Joe Roegan often talks about how bad billionairs exploit us and wonders how they can do it, he should take a deep look into the mirror, jumping on this pyramide sceme is evidence for him, how people can do this, he is just the same.
I’ve deliberated a lot on the daily greens stuff for years. The most valuable thing any reviewer could do is a before and after blood test of all the key metrics. We need a quantitative test.
I do like the pick me mentality. I just landed here and you've shown me some proof that I'm not gonna get bullshited to oblivion and life is as it seems, kinda hard, and based on cold ass reason with the added bonus that you have to deal with deception as well. And that proof is you don't give a fuck, you are content with how you go about your life and work, and more than anyone, you get it that we appreciate it.
Nutrient availability from plants is almost always much lower than from animal foods, so no matter what nutrients it contains, the actual nutrients your body can absorb from a bunch of expensive dried leaves is decidedly sub-optimal. It's hard to imagine a less efficient way to get your nutritional needs met.
I was thinking recently how I could be healthier. And, because I’m a podcast addict, I thought about AG1. Really appreciate you opening my eyes to the 🔺nature of this product.
Wow! Finally an unbiased review of what is clearly snake oil. Another complete scam is Whoop. They have been shoving that overpriced junk down people’s throats a lot lately also. That being said if I had the blow my money on either one I’d probably prefer a whoop subscription over some green powder I am gonna piss out throughout the day.
Thanks James; I brought this wanting to cover all of my current supplements in one go; Mult vitium, Ashwaganda, Magnesium, probiotics thinking its would reduce the costs. Since taking it Ive had a sinus infection and now a stomach bug. I might just be very unlucky, but this stuff is suppose to make me feel better. Ive now cancelled my subscription and will eat a more healthy diet.
I believe that a trustworthy and solid product doesn't need so heavy investment into advertisement space, for instagram models etc., as this one does, I rather buy $100 worth of rump steaks monthly.
I can't think of any time I've bought something from an ad made by a content creator or influencer. I respect their hustle and will support their content but no I'm not going to buy something just because an ad said it would make my life better. If I didn't need it before seeing the ad, I won't need it after.
I do not mind content producers doing ads, but endorsing ads, especially overpriced spirulina that do does not do much at recommended doses, is really poor and dishonest. We need to go back to the good old days of radio and tv ad breaks.
Good stuff! I agree. We waste a lof of money on popular products while you can have the same benefits from simply doing easy things as eating more fruits and vegetables.
Judging something before trying it is wild. I wouldnt pay for AG1 but there is cheap alternatives. Those + a healthy diet is going to be more beneficial than not
I've been explaining how this supplement is organised to people for months now. The vast majority of ingredients are simply virtue signalling. The dose amounts for almost all except spirulina are extremely, extremely underserved sometimes by hundreds of milligrams, especially for adaptogens which I have to add, require 8-12 weeks to ADAPT to your body and become effective hence the name adaptogens. The only value would be diversity in terms of the trace elements of ingredients perhaps on gut health and as a very very expensive multivitamin. You have been suckered. Thanks, James for the earnest review.
08:06 SO important. I payed for a big one and the only thing I am supplementing since then, because I wasn't really lacking of anything, is D3 + K2 and some Vit C
i just use udos beyond greens, fraction of the price and still a great product, i take a thorne multi vitamin along side this I nearly bought AG1, I'm very disappointed in Andrew Huberman.
I admit to buying it and suffering the cost even now. Guess what ad appeared when I finished watching this video of yours, James 🫣 yes, AG1 I am unsure if it’s placebo (probably is in a big part), but considering most people are quite deficient in many nutrients, wouldn’t it be quite normal that even that expensive pouch made a difference? I still agree that eating fruit and veg is better, but consider that most of us are like wilted plants and AG1 even if it’s just a „water” brings us back to certain balance (at least at the start of taking it; later it is probably placebo…). Anyway. Thank you for this review because it strengthened my doubts about couple of things like „proportions” or marketing, and it is tipping over my decision to replace it with more robust approach to fruit and veg.
…oh, and when Andrew says that „it tastes great”, me and my wife are always like 😮 wtf? It is awful in taste. It’s like a bad medicine. The only way to make it drinkable for us is to mix with orange juice 😂
AG1 was literally the ad for this video 😂 So happy to see someone finally be honest about this company! It’s also becoming a larger issue on this platform now- where brands like better help and AG1 are everywhere and I’m hoping RUclipsrs catch on that repeating the same ads so many times could hurt their business and engagement especially if these brands a super pricey and not transparent
Ah, you hope for the market-based self-regulation, but no. Ads work, the money is insane and the feedback mechanisms have a very small effect - the voices of the Hubermans and Rogans are a million times louder than that of a James Smith. We would need major regulation for advertisement but that's probably not a popular idea...
Exactly, even negative comments is positive marketing. However, hopefully those who get tempted by youtube affiliate links, will do some research, find this kind of info.
Anonymous That’s actually a lie. I read or heard it takes ads like ten times to convince someone or get someone to buy stuff. Ads always work. It’s like no. Some say that and it’s social media or radio etc that benefit from ads. It’s like I’ve heard and seen a ton of AG1 ads. Guess what. I’ve not bought it. If anything it made me scratch my head. It claims to have militaris cordyceps but it doesn’t list which Us producer grew it. And how you grow it with what Ingredients and if you use red and blue light changes everything like the cordycepin or adenosine content. They could have tested for cordycepin kr adenosine content but AG1 doesn’t,
The one thing AG gets right is it influencer treatment. The package they send to people to push their stuff makes it seem like you've ordered a new Apple product not a bag of green powder 😂 Unfortunately, they don't include a device to morally lobotomize yourself in order to push the astronomically expensive stuff for them! 😂
Almost got suckered into AG1. I live in Europe and what prevented me from ordering was the shipping cost. Thank YOU Athletic Greens for helping me make the right choice by your greedy shipping cost. And thank YOU James for confirming my inadvertent good choice with your usual no BS unsponsored content. ❣many thanks as always.
@@mikes0978 well, about 30 seconds ago I went on their official website (again) and the price inc. shipping to Amsterdam Netherlands is 107.00 Euro. Your statement is false, unless you can provide a link with free shipping then I would love to give it a go. Cheers.
@@Biketherapy113 He never said it wasn't good for you, it's just insanely overpriced. @@metasaurus3233Right. It's good for you. There's a lot to like about AG1. There's also better products out there for cheaper, but no one should stop using AG1 if they don't replace it with someone else. James is rapidly becoming one of my favourite fitness youtubers. This no nonsense, honest approach is really refreshing. Looking forward to watch more, keep up the good work James!
As someone that follows a Mediterranean diet (consists mostly of vegetables) I was skeptical at first but I gave it a try and… literally next day I felt different, been working out more, and honestly been feeling sharper. It could very well be placebo effect, but 2 months into using it I’m honestly feeling way better than I ever did. I am thinking about stopping for a month or 2 and see how I feel. --. It’s honestly very stupid to do a review of something you didn’t even try.🤷🏽♂️

We can always count on James to tell it like it is! Great video, been waiting for this one! I have way too many friends that have been sucked in by this AG1 nonsense.
I'd like to see a deep-dive into whoever is behind producing & marketing this stuff? I assume it wasn't already a huge success before the ads began appearing on what seems like EVERY RUclips video and Podcast I subscribe to. So they must have a huge advertising budget allowing them to attempt making the stuff profitable by sheer strength of will... It seems like someone just found a potentially lucrative product category and convinced some investors that their brand would resonate with the 'lazy health conscious' demographic...
I'm just surprised that the brand SEEMS? to be popular? Or are they still hoping the advertising will make it successful before they run out of marketing budget... I thought the name sounds too much like 'Soylent Green', which I assumed consumers would consider disgusting. And the green colour looks gross, but I guess enough people have been programmed to assume GREEN=HEALTHY that the colour selection works... I mean, they could have made it any colour they wanted., so the sickly green was definitely a deliberate choice!
@@StreetPreacherr There is tons of pyramide sceme businesses on fake health claim products, they get banned again and again by the authorities for being illegal, but till that happens, they make a lot of money. And they just repeat this with a "new owner", basically the same people with just a different name.
Thank you for being one of the people who actually sheds light on these grifting companies. Micro-biomes are such a hot topic to cash in on right now, and the absolutely relentless sponsorships coupled with most people’s basic lack scientific literacy in the supplement realm, or hell, even merely how to check a supplements quality or efficacy has created a huge cash in for companies like AG1 and Huel. Videos like this are important
Funnily enough got served up an AG1 ad as soon as this video finished 😂. Having tried AG1 I have to say I largely agree with you around just consuming the right food instead. Cheers James, love your work.
As a career marketer and having spent $100 on this bag of dirt when it first hit the market got to say it’s a brilliant scam. Should be included in a college marketing course on how to use influencers to sell anything. You’re the man James!!
I’ve done my research on them a while ago, because £97 a month sounded ridiculous. And decided to make my own, with all organic and more potent ingredients, increased the daily dose from AG1 scoop of 3.6g to 12g and my version of AG1 costed roughly £23.50 per month (when making a 6months batch worth of the green powder).
If you live in Australia, Nature's Own has a Green's Powder and a Red's Powder. They're often 50% off at Woolies, Coles or Chemist Warehouse going for about $8.5-17 each. Swisse also do a Greens powder that's pretty good.
FINALLYYYYYY!! I’ve been so annoyed over the years at the monopolisation of the podcast adverts and even YTbers and credited scientific podcasts like Hubermans promoting this shit. They probably way up the fact that ‘well it’s not harmful so it’s not hurting anyone if they buy it and I line my pockets with loadssssss of money so if they sponsor me than cool!’ I’ve been waiting for someone with a platform to call them out for years! Thank you 👏
Thank you i don't listen to joe rogen but i do listen to talkville and every episode is Ag1 so I started thinking maybe I need Ag1 anyways thanks you saved me $100.😊
I looked into this stuff when I saw Derek from More Plates, More Dates do a video on it. It was at that point I realised he'd totally sold out. I eat bananas before exercise, 300g of frozen vegetables a day, mixed frozen berries with protein shakes. All this tastes better, is more satiating and is much much cheaper than AG1. Coupled with a daily multi vitamin I don't see why I would ever fork out this kind of money, it wouldn't even save me 5 minutes in a day.
It's the perceived convenience for some that seals the deal. Some people want to feel that they have found a cure for their messy schedule. Having fruits and veggies in your home requires to buy them from the grocery store, they go bad in a few days, you have to wash them, peel them and actually eat them. With AG1, you just mix some green powder into water and poof, you get some things that you might get from eating fruits and veggies, but at a fraction of the hassle. You chug that each morning and you "feel" like you've saved some time in your day. It's all about perception.
I'm immediately suspicious of a product that's doing a social media blitz and I wasn't all that surprised to find out it cost an arm and a leg. Vegetables are cheaper, taste better and have more benefits but need a bit more effort than some wrist action in the morning.
Since taking AG1 with Tren & Test my strength, wellbeing, sexual performance & general well being has increased so much I had to come off the AG1 it was just too strong.
BRILLIANT!!. Finally a honest, no-nonsense review of how easy we are constantly pulled-in to these 'rip-offs' , thank you for the information, I've saved myself all that money. Well done James, long may you have such deserved success with this channel, God bless!.
So good and refreshing watching this, thank you James for speaking out about this, so many of these people have HUGH influence and directing people to the wrong way to fuel their bodies while their bank accounts grows its so sad and I hope more people will speak out like you about these brands and the people influencing them.
The money seems like alot, but divide 90 by 30 is about 3 dollars a scoop. I've spent almost 20$ in one meal at McDonald's and got 0 of the nutrients ag1 gives. This is still cheaper than fruit, vegetables and the time spent to prepare. Take the 3$ scoop of ag1 that will supplement if you don't get the required vegetables and fruit.
Amazing James! Thanks for always keeping it real!! As soon as your video finished, guess what ad started playing... AG1 is so much more than a greens powder 😂. The crappy part is that some Podcasters whom I respect (Andrew Huberman and Rich Roll) plug this stuff just to keep the lights on in their effort to disseminate free information.
I ordered AG1 from a video I watched that was sponsored. I then went to immediately look for criticism (I know I should have done that first), found this video and went back to cancel. Breath of fresh air and really putting it into perspective. Subbed
I love your honesty. Honestly I will never buy this product because I am lucid enough to know that marketing is what you pay for when you buy it. Thanks for the discount code😂
Insane? It's $3/day. Most of the people who are taking this were already spending $6-7/day on coffee and doing nothing to improve their health. Are there better products for cheaper? Yes. But AG1 is getting people to transform their health who otherwise wouldn't even engage. I think that content creators need to tread carefully in shaming these people for being "scammed" etc. It's an insignificant amount of money. Introduce them to better products, yes, but don't shame them for trying AG1 and finding out that it actually makes them feel better. Encourage them to keep going further with even better products.
@@questionauthority-f6i Average AG1 user asking people to tread carefully lmao. You're not Al-Capone. It's his review and own personal opinion which he can give, you can use whatever you want. He didn't shame anyone.
Great video. I felt the same. I was gifted a bag for free so I tried it out and loved it until I finished it and contemplated actually buying a bag, that’s where my journey with AG1 ended.
I KNEW IT!!!!! I suspected this. I buy a equivalent green powder from DR Berg for FAR LESS and its better. Well I'm no scientist so... *shrug* it cost less!!!!
In Germany we have a lot of AG1 ads, too. Many platforms reviewed the product already. I came to the conclusion, that this product might only work in the US because in many areas getting fruit and vegetables is far more expensive than a family bucket of fried chicken. In Germany (or whole Europe) it is different. You can eat healthy for a fairly low budget. Ofc you can always add your supplements. But as long as you choose fresh food over processed, you are unlikely to have huge overall deficits.
Have you ever lived in the US? As long as you're not shopping at places like Whole Foods or supposed organic stores you can definitely buy veggies and fruits for a lot cheaper than a bucket of chicken.
@@eazy261 I haven‘t just visited NY and San Francisco. And yes, I only was in. Whole Food market. Good to hear that can get fruits and veggies for a reasonable price. I thought it was the same price all over the country.
Well you don't even try so you can't know. I wouldnot advise any unatural products. But as retired athlete this product help me to keep my % fat and blocking the growth of my internal organs. Eating 6000cal a day during many year ruined my health because now It's just to hard to eat less than 1800cal for me. So it's help me to eat less and increase my focus during the next 5 hours in average. But the sides effects could be that's you are in need of some vitamins and you take unatural products.. also don't use this product when you are sick.. I would say it's only good if you eat 1/3 of what they tell you to take everyday for early training at vo2max.
Love your authenticity my guy. The reason it MAY work for some people is because they dont consume healthy food in the first place, so to whatever degree AG1 reduces the lack of the micronutrient/s it makes them feel better, so yes, eat more fruits and veggies. However, if you're experienced and are in a deficit, it may be hard to eat everything you need to keep your micronutrients up, so a supplement may come in handy.
Honestly I'm in no way affiliated with AG1 but it did good for me, I feel 10 years younger, and I tried many other supplements before (and ate my vegetables). This is one of the few supplements that made a real difference in my case. I'm not sure what to say about the price though, perhaps you're right about that part but saying it doesn't work is just dishonest.
I am too lazy to purchase diverse enough fruits and vegetables each day. I also do OMAD. I cannot possibly eat 3-4 different fruits and 3-4 different veggies to get my stuff. This stuff is not targeting self-aware nutrition individuals. It targets busy people with busy lives, with constant mind on their work and families. Yes. The cost is insane (that's why I only tried it for 3months). However I did notice 2 benefits (energy levels and probiotics). And no, it was not a placebo effect. I'm not that kind of guy to wrap my lifestyle around a product.

Honesty. Now I’m going to head over to your website and sign up. You have appealed to my values. ❤
Love your work and the information you provide mate.
He didn’t mention the owner of the company is a criminal and fraudster. But i imagine that would present a legal problem if he did.
God damn you made me laugh with the highly relatable Waking up to advert!
I was thinking recently how I could be healthier. And, because I’m a podcast addict, I thought about AG1.
Really appreciate you opening my eyes to the 🔺nature of this product.
i got immediately AG1 ad on youtube after this video 😄
Heuls daily greens was my add for this video 😂
Ah the Doberman Pinscher! the most beautiful intelligent elegant athletic dog in the world! I had show quality dobermans for 45 yrs...
Wow! Finally an unbiased review of what is clearly snake oil. Another complete scam is Whoop. They have been shoving that overpriced junk down people’s throats a lot lately also. That being said if I had the blow my money on either one I’d probably prefer a whoop subscription over some green powder I am gonna piss out throughout the day.
this info was really helpful, thank you.
Nice video mate! Its good your getting that information out there
I was borderline on ordering this but not now :-) thank you!
first time I see you. Love it. Thanks. from France
I love that the include a bottle. Does anyone not have an empty water bottle sitting around? lol
You never fail to crack me up 😂
Absolute Legend
Easiest way to tell if someone is a gullible loser is if they buy AG1. Great video!
lol. “My online platform is half the price”
So we see the motivation.
Loved this video. I just recently stopped my monthly payback to Rogan/ Huberman/ lex :)
I mean I agree it seems like horsesht but you could've at least tried it before making the video lmao
I can't think of any time I've bought something from an ad made by a content creator or influencer. I respect their hustle and will support their content but no I'm not going to buy something just because an ad said it would make my life better. If I didn't need it before seeing the ad, I won't need it after.
Legend 😂 you got a new subscription 🎉
I do not mind content producers doing ads, but endorsing ads, especially overpriced spirulina that do does not do much at recommended doses, is really poor and dishonest. We need to go back to the good old days of radio and tv ad breaks.
Good stuff! I agree. We waste a lof of money on popular products while you can have the same benefits from simply doing easy things as eating more fruits and vegetables.
Just got AG1 ad before video 💀
Judging something before trying it is wild. I wouldnt pay for AG1 but there is cheap alternatives. Those + a healthy diet is going to be more beneficial than not
I just watched the same exact video from Adam McDonald. And that came out 2 months earlier.
If you are rich then why not, otherwise enough fruit and veg will do the job just as well. Thanks for the review
I payed for a big one and the only thing I am supplementing since then, because I wasn't really lacking of anything, is D3 + K2 and some Vit C
i just use udos beyond greens, fraction of the price and still a great product, i take a thorne multi vitamin along side this
I nearly bought AG1, I'm very disappointed in Andrew Huberman.
I admit to buying it and suffering the cost even now. Guess what ad appeared when I finished watching this video of yours, James 🫣 yes, AG1
I am unsure if it’s placebo (probably is in a big part), but considering most people are quite deficient in many nutrients, wouldn’t it be quite normal that even that expensive pouch made a difference?
They sell greens powder in Tesco for a tenner and always thought that was a rip off
AG1 was literally the ad for this video 😂
So happy to see someone finally be honest about this company! It’s also becoming a larger issue on this platform now- where brands like better help and AG1 are everywhere and I’m hoping RUclipsrs catch on that repeating the same ads so many times could hurt their business and engagement especially if these brands a super pricey and not transparent
Same!😂
Ah, you hope for the market-based self-regulation, but no.
Anonymous
That’s actually a lie.
They could have tested for cordycepin kr adenosine content but AG1 doesn’t,
Mine wasn't AG1 but another famous UK podcaster promoting another "green powder" product. Hilarious
The exact same thing with the shipping cost put me off it. It was in my cart and all
theres free shipping to EU so thats a false
@@mikes0978 well, about 30 seconds ago I went on their official website (again) and the price inc. shipping to Amsterdam Netherlands is 107.00 Euro. Your statement is false, unless you can provide a link with free shipping then I would love to give it a go. Cheers.
@@suzu363that is the price for 1 bag without subscription
I paid 96€ for switzerland. It came from Netherlands. That includes 9€ shipping
I searched for tons of reviews of AG and they were all sooo positive but James was honest and real and now I’m a subscriber babie!
they're all positive because the product is fantastic, ive been taking it for over a month and feel way better than i have in a long time.
I've been taking AG1 for two years straight and it's improved my overall health.
@@Biketherapy113 He never said it wasn't good for you, it's just insanely overpriced.
You can get a generic version of ag1, with the same amount of powder and same nutritional value for 25$ at the super market.
Or you could just eat fruits and veggies and get even more of those nutrients for a tenth of the price.
with adaptogens and all? when something is good you pay for recipe and all of it's benefits, generic version is probably gonna deliver generic results. Whole foods are expensive, good vitamins are expensive.@@metasaurus3233
@@metasaurus3233Right. It's good for you. There's a lot to like about AG1. There's also better products out there for cheaper, but no one should stop using AG1 if they don't replace it with someone else. And I don't like that the new trend is to shame people who have bought into AG1 hype because those people are going to just stop consuming anything like it rather than do the research to replace it.
James, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for not selling out and making such content.
James is rapidly becoming one of my favourite fitness youtubers. This no nonsense, honest approach is really refreshing. Looking forward to watch more, keep up the good work James!
bro he didnt even tried the product but has an opinion on it he is a morron
As someone that follows a Mediterranean diet (consists mostly of vegetables) I was skeptical at first but I gave it a try and…
literally next day I felt different, been working out more, and honestly been feeling sharper. It could very well be placebo effect, but 2 months into using it I’m honestly feeling way better than I ever did. I am thinking about stopping for a month or 2 and see how I feel. --. It’s honestly very stupid to do a review of something you didn’t even try.🤷🏽♂️
What you said, you're feeling the placebo effect. I've had it and if you watched the video, the dosges in the product aren't worth it. You aren't getting the full vitiams. @@diegotinoco3296
@@CMCMTTTV lmao what? Of course what is in the product matters. What do you mean, who cares? LOL. That’s the whole point of the product and how it works in your body.
@@Martin-xt5qw He dont need to try it, since thats not what the review is about. It is more about the price of it, and if it is even worth the money. If you listned, you would figure that you would be better of with your money to just buy real food and make it yourself, instead of paying $90 a month for a plastic bag with whatever you could have made youself for way less.
Kale, green apple, spinach , avocado and water Blend. add vegetable throughout the day with other healthy meals and you’ll get it all. Thanks for the video

Or just buy the supplement so you don't need to do all of that.
Yep, I mix a similar shake twice a day, good stuff. Blows my mind people waste so much money on supplements when all they have to do is eat/drink actual food.
lol I canceled my athletic greens subscription a few mins into the video. I'll just put that money towards more fruit and veg. Thanks for being the voice of reason James 😅🤣
Idk if huel is good or bad, because I refuse to purchase it solely because of it's stupid fucking name.
Funnily enough got served up an AG1 ad as soon as this video finished 😂. Having tried AG1 I have to say I largely agree with you around just consuming the right food instead. Cheers James, love your work.
So did I!! 🤣 So add RUclips to the list of those receiving commission. Ugh.
I had it at the start lol
As a career marketer and having spent $100 on this bag of dirt when it first hit the market got to say it’s a brilliant scam. Should be included in a college marketing course on how to use influencers to sell anything. You’re the man James!!
Hahaha I had a "Happy mammoth" one 🤣🙄 they really do be listening.
Anything that spends that much on advertising is definitely making a shit product. Prime is another classic example.
Man your content and morality are a breath of fresh air, rare to see someone with a following to be as genuine 🙌
Good for you man! So refreshing to see an honest review of all this rubbish.
I salute you sir👌🏽
If you live in Australia, Nature's Own has a Green's Powder and a Red's Powder. They're often 50% off at Woolies, Coles or Chemist Warehouse going for about $8.5-17 each. Swisse also do a Greens powder that's pretty good.
Was thinking the same I buy it all the time and I feel no difference
Thanks for this. I can't afford AG1 and was looking for a cheaper alternative in Australia.
Most of these powder has lots of maltodextrin. Coles and Woolies brands don’t offer quality either!!
@1heart1mind Definitely something I need to do my research on then.
Tried it, hated it. Money down the drain. It taste truly horrible. Did you eventually tried it?
FINALLYYYYYY!! I’ve been so annoyed over the years at the monopolisation of the podcast adverts and even YTbers and credited scientific podcasts like Hubermans promoting this shit.
They probably way up the fact that ‘well it’s not harmful so it’s not hurting anyone if they buy it and I line my pockets with loadssssss of money so if they sponsor me than cool!’
I’ve been waiting for someone with a platform to call them out for years! Thank you 👏
Thank you i don't listen to joe rogen but i do listen to talkville and every episode is Ag1 so I started thinking maybe I need Ag1 anyways thanks you saved me $100.😊
I looked into this stuff when I saw Derek from More Plates, More Dates do a video on it.
I was just thinking this too.
Well said
It’s sad what has happened to Derek.
He simply stated he didn’t get what he needed from food so he drinks it. Didn’t sell it as a magic formula or anything.
I'm immediately suspicious of a product that's doing a social media blitz and I wasn't all that surprised to find out it cost an arm and a leg.
Vegetables are cheaper, taste better and have more benefits but need a bit more effort than some wrist action in the morning.
Bit like f45 and gyms
Remember first hearing about AG1, looked it up. Saw the price(per month), just closed my laptop and went on with my day.
Since taking AG1 with Tren & Test my strength, wellbeing, sexual performance & general well being has increased so much I had to come off the AG1 it was just too strong.
My guy👍
😂😂😂
Hahaha you made my day 😂😂😂
BRILLIANT!!. Finally a honest, no-nonsense review of how easy we are constantly pulled-in to these 'rip-offs' , thank you for the information, I've saved myself all that money. Well done James, long may you have such deserved success with this channel, God bless!.
I love the thumbnail at the end for your next video - Huberman, CEO guy and Rogan. The three AG1 shills.
Thanks for saving me £90! Great video as always ❤
Damn my housemate just got his package today and this video is a gold share😂😂
Legend. Just re-watching this after reading about the Huberman scandal.
Good on you for not selling out.
Huberman scandal?
Amazing James! Thanks for always keeping it real!! As soon as your video finished, guess what ad started playing... AG1 is so much more than a greens powder 😂. The crappy part is that some Podcasters whom I respect (Andrew Huberman and Rich Roll) plug this stuff just to keep the lights on in their effort to disseminate free information.
Vitamins and Kale. Boom, saved 90 USD.
The cost of this product is honestly insane. You'd think they had found the fountain of youth for that price.
Thank you for a no BS review brother.
Literally just dried up veggies and selling it like gold dust.
Works out to less than $3 a drink...you people are hilarious.
RUclips (and the world at large) needs more people like you
Great video.
Brilliant. My respect level for you just skyrocketed.
Veggies are pretty reasonable atleast where I live in the US.
Have you ever lived in the US? As long as you're not shopping at places like Whole Foods or supposed organic stores you can definitely buy veggies and fruits for a lot cheaper than a bucket of chicken.
@@MathiasMartinWR good to hear. I only have been in San Fran and NY so far.
@@eazy261 I haven‘t just visited NY and San Francisco. And yes, I only was in. Whole Food market. Good to hear that can get fruits and veggies for a reasonable price. I thought it was the same price all over the country.
Not in the Netherlands. Fruit and vegetables are sky high!!
I will continue to watch and support James. An online personality with no sponsorships are worth their weight in gold. Great content as always. Oss!
Oh man - I've only watched two of your videos so far but you are really hitting the spot. Finally. Excellent!
