Good catch! Really appreciate you mentioning the placement of the ESC box and how it affects rear foot placement.

Was hyped for another steven vid, this board looks super stable, however that block in the middle throws me off.

I have the 90 amp off-road version and I love this board. My only qualms are gear box clearance, I bash my gear box riding off-road all the time. I feel 9" tires would be a good solution to prevent bashing the gear boxes.

Acedeck is fantastic and this is a great board, but I went with the Ares X1 2023. I can't STAND boards with battery boxes and ESC on top of the board. It's stupid AF to have all that junk on your deck, although I understand why they do it for off-road (damage to those components from rocks and debris, etc.). For a street board, no need for that giant annoying box or an ESC on your foot. With that crap in the way, there's no ROOM for customization. So yeah, I went with the Ares, same motors and power, same ESC, sleeker and better design, same tires, better bushings, better board. I see no reason for this product unless you get the off-road version OR intend to upgrade motors for an off-road version in the future. Ares X1 2023 > Nomad > This board. That said, I'm part of the Acedeck fam now, and couldn't be happier ;)

Totally agree with your statement. In addition you get with the actual deal the 200 offroad tires and tubes for 100 bucks more...

Just wondering where you got and how you mounted the two bumper bars on the supersport?
    Thanks in advance!

  • @ajplant96

Tbf the price difference between this and the supersport make sense when you consider that this is running like 4600w at nominal voltage vs nearly 10000w at nominal for the supersport. The off the line party trick acceleration doesn't make a board powerful, just jerky. I'll take a natural throttle curve and some actual oomph after the startup acceleration any day.

I've been riding this board for 1 month and already having problems.
During a big acceleration uphill, the connection between the remote control and the board stopped and I fell.
Another major problem is the bushings which come out on their own when I take very tight turns.
I've been riding with 5 different boards for 5 years, this is the first time I've come across such a dangerous board.

With all the Eboard you've ridden, what's a board that you recommend for a 6 feet 240 lb guy looking for range and travel? Is there an electric longboard that you can travel with and without an ESC box? A board with an ESC box for when the extended distance is needed? I live in Vancouver Canada and there are some hills!
