I've been listening to preterist teachings all last year and you still pull out so many thoughtful connections that I haven't heard or considered - I love your style!
You’re doing an excellent job, keep sharing…planting those seeds…God will tend the gardens of His choosing and at His timing. It’s so nice to meet you! I’ll be praying for you and your channel to grow and reach more and more people. I’ve been a believer of full preterism for about 3 years. No one in my family will listen to anything that I try to share with them, sent books and videos, but they won’t read or watch them. They say things like “we’re all concerned about you” …”you’re following false teachers…”you’re in a cult” … “we will be praying for you to turn back because Jesus is going to be here soon” and “boy are you going to be in for a big surprise when you see Jesus riding on a big white horse in the clouds”. Oh well…I’m now labeled a heretic and shunned by some, but that’s ok, I’ll never stop sharing the truth….after all the preterist view of eschatology is such great happy news!! The seeds have been scattered, now I pray and wait to see if they’ve fallen on fertile ground. I love your gentle spirit/personality and I think your videos are wonderful as is. ❤️🙏🏼
@@cazinfan77 awww thanks! I’m sorry your family isn’t receptive😩. But good for you to try to share with them! I have really only discussed it with my immediate family and my brother a bit. Some of them just don’t care. Some think it’s crazy so I just let it go. Maybe it just takes time to sink in, and I do feel like people are waking up to fulfillment so maybe they will hear it from someone else someday and like you said, you have planted a seed🙏❤️
There was a time when I got offensive when somebody called me a heretic, but it doesn't bother me anymore knowing I was once believing what they are. If they are in Christ then we have the same Spirit and they can perceive the Truth just like us.
I really appreciate your nonchalant approach to a covenant eschatology. We Christians get so bogged down with "physical" instead of spiritual things that we misinterpret scripture. I am recently finding out more and more how New Testament passages correspond with the Old Testament.

Here's a thought I have, though. My brother once said that we are all God experiencing things, so that view made me wonder if we need physical bodies, although maybe in a much more superior form. Didn't Jesus, after his resurrection, appear to many in a body? He even ate a meal, and it seems he could walk through a wall. Just a thought...and I'm always open to new ideas.
Love the puppy in the back! I have a lil white doggy, too! It breaks my heart to hear about jaded believers turning into heretics and then going on to teach that errant belief to others. I sort of went through something like that, too. Coming out of the Catholic church and not being able to find a home, I went through a very rough patch. GOD is a SPIRIT that SPIRIT is LOVE all of us have SINNED against that spirit in word, deed and thought. There is no way to 'work it off', there is no way to escape our own conscience and there is no way BACK to that LOVE by our good works. The spectacle of JESUS dying, an innocent man, GOD'S own son taking all the abuse, despising the shame and dying is meant to get our attention. JESUS said we have to believe that what he did paid for ALL of our sins, washing us clean and putting us back in the spirit of SINCERE LOVE. If you don't believe, you're condemned already. There are so few of us who have a general and broad understanding of the truth, it’s hard when nobody around you is even willing to explore it and come to a meaningful and well researched opinion. I’m still working out all the other pieces and trying to find God’s truth…. It’s a life long journey I suppose. Interesting how we have been taught the claim of a hell and eternal torment, from creedal dogma from the pulpit. No where did Jesus condemn anyone to a hell with eternal torment, for non-belief. The Bible teaches that this (Gehenna) hell was an actual place forsaken by God, with a beginning and an ending. This mystery is hidden in plain sight, in your Bible, yet many have no clue, yet eagerly willing to send folks to this place.
Your presentations are brilliant. You are contributing to a revival of spiritual awareness by giving us a realistic religion relevant to adults. Many churches teach platitudes and fairy-tales. The latter appeal to children, and may have appealed to people in the Middle Ages, when life expectancy was around 20, but today they lead to disillusionment and the mass cynicism you encountered at the atheistic site. But you offer more than just dead knowledge: You communicate a love for insight! One thing to consider when interpreting is verb tense. If I say "Adam and Eve will die", it does not necessarily mean that they will die instantly. It could mean that they will be subject to death and will die someday. Spiritual death, moreover, is a matter of degree! We live and die each day -- but this spiritual death is not permanent. It is simply a matter of letting go of trauma and entanglement, old and new. Tomorrow comes and we get to do it all over again. Physical death too is a matter of degree: Most of the cells of our body live no more than a month. Consider that!
Hello Kristen! I hope I got the spelling right?! You should really not put yourself down. There is a loving comraderie between preterist that is not shared by others in the "Christian" community because we know that we have this truth (a hidden gem that we just stumbled upon) and we feel compelled out of love for others to get this information to them knowing that we are going to be ostracized. I for one am still grateful for your teaching ability. For instance in Matthew 5:18 I was missing the "till heaven and earth pass away" part. I was honing in on "one jot or tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled" It takes someone like you to slow things down or say it in a way so we don't miss those all important words that we sometimes miss because we are reading to fast. I learned something new and am grateful to you for pointing out that part of the scripture. Who knows how long it would have taken me to see that, if at all. Your show is needed and necessary. We need as many of us (preterist) as possible. Keep up the great work 😊

So, an enlightened lady said once the only people that won't be there in the new earth are those who the "peace and serenity" of Heaven would be a living hell to them!! Heard a guy on here say, Jesus work was finished at the cross! It started when HE was born, and what HE's been doing since the end here... HE even had Paul tell THEM ONE MORE TIME. The truth will set us free and the truth is in the word of God. Christ did not go along with the relgious leaders of His day, nor should we. The bible is not as complicated as religion makes it. Jesus said ALL was fulfilled and I believe He COULD NOT LIE or be mistaken. You have a gift to offer - don't worry about how another may teach. God bless you and keep on teaching us.
You could try putting on a hat, but definitely do not hang up your hat. Mystery Babylon is a great topic. The fact that Mystery Babylon can only be Old Covenant Jerusalem is the nail in the coffin of the late dat advocates. You could also do a series on time statements. You can male those short or longer if you like. Feel free to steal any ideas from that you like.

Regarding Sarah taking things into her own hands, I think sometimes we’re too quick to suspect her motives. If you re-read the prophesy before Sarah gave Abraham Hagar, Sarah isn’t mentioned in the promise. What if Sarah went through menopause or had done so years before and then felt guilty that she was inhibiting God’s promise. It wasn’t until after Ishmael that Sarah was mentioned by name in the second prophesy. Just a thought. I’m really enjoying your videos!
I’m a heretic too.. I continue to find it interesting when talking to fellow believers. Asking the question, so you’re a believing unbeliever? Regarding Matthew 16:27-28 and Luke regarding THEY were in the days of vengeance. I make them think, because if they hold to the futurism they have to make Jesus a liar.

It’s a mixed bag. But the glazed look I get at times is priceless… our revelation Bible study had to be cancelled due to the unrest it was causing 3 years or so ago because of me. I took it seriously lol! That’s when it all changed, so I was 49 when the fog lifted. It’s been an interesting journey to say the least since then. I tried to see it differently but once you see it you can’t unsee it…

We are called to stand for the truth regarding these things and be able to give an account for the reason of our faith. And honestly I have more faith now in the reality of the spiritual being more real than what we have now it’s amazing. Once I had no doubt that Jesus did exactly what he said and he completely accomplished the work the father gave him, wow! Whole new type of freedom to live life and not questioning my salvation and accepting my imperfections and sin nature knowing Jesus bore it all for me so that I can go to heaven when I die and enjoy God dwelling with me now and recognizing that reality. 💥🙂

How about the parable of the talents, using both Matthew and Luke. I always wondered why Jesus would say that the servant should have participated with the money changers then, since nothing positive was done with what was given. I thought Jesus would have been against that, since it is basically being of the world. But then the final judgement came and my thought is that the negative judgement would be the same for somebody who was a Christian in name only or also for any non-Christian who is worshiping money and worldly things.

Obviously it is terrible to blackmail and overcharge people to get a sacrifice in the temple, but I will have to look for favorable descriptions by Jesus, elsewhere.
A while back I was listening to a video on Adam & Eve and God telling them they will die if they eat of the tree of knowledge of good & evil. The speaker commented that the ancient Hebrews used the word "yom" to represent two different time periods: a 24-hour day and 1,000 years. He went on to say that it was possible that the use of "yom" there could be representative of 1,000 years - in which case with Adam living 900+ years, he would have died during that "yom" (1,000 year period). I haven't been able to verify that anywhere else but find it possible. Something to consider anyway.
@@kirkrowland5823 I have heard that argument before too, but it doesn’t make much sense to me. The genesis story uses the words evening and morning over and over again. So I feel like the word “day“ in this context definitely has a 24 hour feel. I would be curious to know their evidence for “day “being 1000 years other than the verse from first Peter, which I think is just telling them to have patience. I mean if they use that reckoning then Jesus was in the ground for 3000 years and Jonah was in the belly of the whale for 3000 years.😂❤️🙏 it is true that the word day can have different meanings but the context of Genesis definitely screams the typical 24 hour day, if not it wouldn’t be much of a threat to say 900 years from now you’re going to die. That’s just how I see it anyway.😉
@@kristinbingamon568 If I remember correctly, he claimed it came from the ancient Hebrew "Book of Adam and Eve". Not an "inspired" work but maybe a glimpse into the ancient Hebrew thought/understanding. I believe in the 24 hour day of creation but am open to a variance in usage of the word "yom" as it relates to different scenarios. We will find out one day.
Great job. I have a couple of thoughts that are my perception, but before I share them, did you know that there is a tree in your house. I'm sure you have probably seen it. 🤣 Typically in the evangelical world the death experienced by eating the fruit in the garden is referred to as a spiritual death and thus everyone from that point on is spiritually dead and separated from God. I don't think anyone could ever be separated from God because it is His Spirit that animates us and gives us life. Paul said we were alienated from God in our minds. My understanding is this: Eating the fruit brought death to the soul, not spirit, as you said several times in speaking of our soul being saved from death. This caused a perceived separation, not an actual one and I think it is illustrated in the tabernacle/temple. There was a veil between the presence of God (Holy of Holies) and the place of life and ministry (Holy Place). When sin and death was overcome by Jesus death and subsequently His resurrection, that symbolic veil in the Temple was ripped apart, leaving the world open to the very presence of God. And literally in humanity, the death that came upon us through Adam, and the veil that it erected between our soul and spirit, was removed. In fact we died with Him. WE were crucified with Christ. Again Paul said we were alienated from God in our MIND. The mind is part of our soul. So the death that was upon all humanity through Adam was a death or perceived death of the soul and that was reversed and overcome by Jesus the last Adam. In my opinion all humanity was redeemed, justified, reconciled and born again by the blood, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And from a preterist viewpoint (I think), we were set free from the slavery of and to the law and began the 40 year journey into the finalization of that transition. Just some thoughts. If you really want to have some fun in your heresy, come on into the Trinitarian inclusion, universal reconciliation crowd. So, I'm journeying from one heresy to another and it is fun and exciting. Once again, great job of sharing this.

@@kristinbingamon568 One of my questions is: Is Jesus resurrected body,which apparently has no blood and is not subject to mortal limitations, the same as His glorified body? It seems that we will always have a body, but as you mentioned from Corinthians, it will be a spiritual body. I guess we will know one day when we experience it.
@@bradharford6052 Good point. I believe Jesus did have a physical body when he resurrected. I just believe it was a sign pointing to the greater resurrection which is being restored to fellowship with God.
@@kristinbingamon568 One other thought I had recently concerning death. Sheol and Hades were the Hebrew and Greek words for the grave or the place of the dead. Revelation speaks of death and hades being cast into the lake of fire. To me this suggests that there is no more death. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, not in the place of the dead, which no longer exists. Maybe a stretch, maybe not. It seems that although we may leave this mortal body behind, we do not die, we simply change dimensions or realms.

John 20: 26 then he said to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger and behold my hands: and thrust it into my side, Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and feet, that it is I myself: hadle me ,and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.. 43 And he took it and did eat before them. I think that you underestimate the original creation and that the body is alsmost the crown of creation that becomes a living soul (with choice and will, mind if you will) this body must be filled with spirit in order to live. Thus the body is the temple of the spirit. lastly we must be careful of having the form of godliness but denying the power thereof. I must say I admire your deep dive into the scriptures.
@@allthingsbing1295 well beside those given, shows that after his resurrection he was flesh and blood (but he is also filled with his fathers spirit)...but that his body was like Adams is conjecture, but 1 Corinthians 15:20-23 and 44-49 Romans 5:12-21 contrast the two. In bringing up the point about the wounds of Jesus and his resurrected body at the 58:25 mark in your video, have you considered John 20:24-27? “Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”
Thank you for sharing your understanding. This same resurrected physical body allowed him to appear and disappear, correct? “When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them. And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight” (Luke 24:30-31).
@@renderedwretched9050 Very true! But keep in mind he was doing supernatural things with his body even prior to his resurrection…like passing right through the crowd which was trying throw him off a cliff and walking on water. This would be the same body which was resurrected in my view🙏❤️

@@kristinbingamon568so if we are in the new heavens & new earth under the new covenant does that mean every one of us are saved, even the carnal minded who still experience death (all of us at some point have & are still tempted to do this)? Hebrews 8:7-12 is where I keep thinking we all might be under the new covenant. I’ve been studying the covenant God made with Abraham trying to find out what our part is or if we have no part (not even faith) because the covenant was “in you (Abraham) shall all families of the earth be blessed” correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t see faith as a requirement from us for God to keep the promise He made to Abraham. But all shall know God because “I will be merciful to their unrighteousness & their sins & lawless deeds I will remember no more”. So I don’t see how anyone is excluded & since there is no law there is no sin. Despite us putting ourselves back under law & back under sin & death (mostly religious ppl, ironically atheists might be the most free). So this has always been my approach to the gospel, not to save people, but to tell them they’ve already been saved & help set them free from the law of sin & death.
It's a rare treat to hear someone articulate the preterist view so thoroughly with Scripture! I have recently come across preterist materials that also agree with the physical resurrection being a First Century phenomenon (John 5:21-29). I just felt vindicated that a small minority of Christians are done with futurist mirages, and are taking a serious look at preterism. I have only recently swallowed the First Century Rapture pill, courtesy of Dr. Edward Stevens. I suggest him, Don Preston, Mike Sullivan, "Fulfilled" magazine, etc. as resources for anyone wishing to look further. It's a narrow path, and it keeps getting narrower! 🤯 But it's fulfilling (pun intended).

The first thing we need to do as believers whether Preterist, Satan's Little Season or futurist and in keeping with the "spiritual" theme is to come out of spiritual Babylon Revelation 18:4 which is the church i.e all buildings & institutions that call themselves the church. Also I am wondering as someone myself who believes in dual fulfillment of Prophecy, what Full Preterists would say if there was a mark of some kind people were forced to take in order to buy and sell? And if there was a One World Religion that had to do with worshipping a particular individual aka a final Antichrist❓ Just hypothetically if all that were to happen or happen again I wonder what Full Preterists would say. Would they then admit that this definitely is a dual fulfillment of the book of Revelation? As far as the heretic thing Orthodox believers as well as partial Preterists would say to Full Preterists, that it is heresy (yet saying it in love) because it's basically saying there's nothing to do with Prophecy concerning us who are here now. And therefore we are just kinda here with no real significance and that just doesn't line up at all, especially during the church age and even now after the death of the churches and congregations. His faithful servants are continuing to lead many outside the church to salvation spreading wisdom, knowledge & understanding to many thousands and millions of people. Separating the wheat from the tares in these final days. Yet when Preterists look at the book of Revelation and see nothing that pertains to us at all who are living now on this current earth, and as having an important role in preparing people for what is to come then I'd agree that would be heresy. Also it does say nothing impure or that causes abomination or a lie will enter into the new heaven and new earth. Revelation 21:27. And again these words and their definitions in the Greek all have literal meanings and interpretations not referring to something spiritual. Impure also means "defiled" or something that is common shared by many or all and it also means profane. And if God is faithful and true, which He is, and means what He says here then this clearly lays out what will not be allowed in the new heaven and new earth. I do like the fact you used more scripture in this one and made some really good points to support your claim, yet I still know what I believe to be true, and that Satan's Little Season must be addressed first before everyone should just skip ahead to the New heaven and NEW earth 🙂 I think showing both sides of an argument is always the best approach and the pluses and minuses for each side, which I think helps go a long way in what people need to narrow down in their mind, and in taking notes for the most logical accounting of what God is talking about concerning this topic specifically. Also I think the verses pertaining to comfort and rest for our souls has to do with the generation reading it as well as future ones until Revelation is complete. After all that's the only way people could read and understand those passages is while they're still alive 😉 I don't think they are to be interpreted the same way after death, but they are to help give us hope and strength to get us through this first life, NOT our second life and eternity in the New heaven and New earth which will be much better! And I do agree in our new bodies it will be much better than these ones and will be completely different, but what good would that be if there isn't a completely different better new heaven and NEW earth to go with it?? See the point there 😏✝️👑 It's not just the new heaven that goes with our new bodies but the New Earth as well.

@@MKCreativeStudios As far as the new heaven and earth, I think you aren’t fully processing that FP view that as a covenantal reality… it’s not about a place we go when we die. “ his kingdom is not of this world and does not come with observation.” So do you see it as an invisible earth? I don’t think it’s a place we go to when we die anymore than God is in a “place” now. It’s a different way of existence. Better and more real than atoms and matter.

I was just speaking about the religious part, we all know and it's well taught that one or more than one part of the church has been as a harlot, the churches are now filled with the lies and abominations of Satan and there are many verses that talk about it the "falling away", false teachers that will go from bad to worse deceiving and being deceived which has to do with churches, the Apostate church and churches that lost their first Love, "high places" which are shines in the OT and also places of idolatry. Which matches and again it should be very obvious all these things represent the modern day churches. They are evil and wicked and God has exited the churches because they have not repented after much patience by the Lord. If He and his spirit were still in churches and using them as He once did it would be very clear, but what is clear is they are now used like businesses to sell and promote merchandise and to profit off of His name for ungodly gain and to pervert the gospel. People can and do choose to walk in blindness but it's very obvious for those who have the spiritual eyes and ears to see and hear the blasphemies coming from and out of churches today. They are part of the evil system that is Babylon but not as far as the location or the city. I know preterists view all that happening in 70 AD and to do with Jerusalem, yet there can be and is more than one type Babylon just like there are many Antichrists. Like I said I firmly believe in dual prophecies and cycles repeating themselves in our times. The main verses people uses are for the Vatican and Rome as Babylon yet I think it's more than just them. Babylon is an evil wicked Empire with a lot of power and wealth and influence, and part of that does have a spiritual component which has to do with the church. There are lots of verse but if people want to make Babylon something else only then they will, but it's clear to most Christians the spiritual aspect of it does have to do with the church in some form.
@@kristinbingamon568 Yes it is very significant being UNDER the new covenant of grace by Jesus finished work on the cross for our salvation 🙌 Yet that's still different than living IN the new covenant (which I know is what you said) 😁😉😊 I still cannot equate the New Covenant with the New heaven and New earth and that this is the NEW Earth. This is the same earth Jesus and his disciples lived and walked on, the same earth John wrote the book of Revelation on 📜 and there is nothing in Jesus' own words that would say otherwise. It's the same fallen, corrupt sinful world it's always been, there's nothing "new" about it and if there is I'd like to know what that is and backed up by something Jesus or John said preferably Jesus. I think there really needs to be some concrete evidence that shows how this could be the new earth and what makes it different from the old one. The only thing that makes it different are the people, cause other generations that have gone before us have obviously physically died. But other than that this is the exact same earth it's always been and it would be very hard to prove otherwise. And it would need to be something strikingly unique and specific that shows that it is different from what you would refer to as the old earth (and to me is still this same one). Keeping in mind that there is currently lots of evidence that exists of the Tribulation period in 70AD as well as The Millennial Kingdom thousand year reign. If it was a new earth there still wouldn't be all this evidence of the things that occured from back then for another thing 💡 There are so many signs, markers and evidence that shows this cannot be the New Earth, but people that want so badly to believe that it is just won't let go of this belief that cannot have happened yet 🙄 It's wishful thinking but not grounded in reality at all. Yet I still respect your opinions of course however the percentage of people that actually believe this is very small, which shows not enough Christians see any evidence for this either. It's something that can exist in people's minds but that's about it. People can say something and believe it to be true and to them it is but in reality it's not. You’ve said some things tending too far towards rejection of the material, but up until today you hadn’t fallen head first into heresy.
Whatever version of the Bible you are using left out half of the verse compared to the KJV and also psalm 119: 36 as you quoted it is totally different from the KJV. JUST SAYING.
First thing I'd like to say is you're not a heretic, definetly not damned. Damn those creeds though. I disagree on the full preterist position that death is done. It's not done. Neither spiritual nor physical. Most of the world is spiritually dead. And all die physically. To be spiritually dead is to be dead to God. Contrarily, being spiritually alive means alive to God. That simply means that you have an awareness of your connection to Him and your life and decisions are ordered through the influence of that connection. Adam's sin created a breach in his relationship with God. The penalty was physical death. Adam didn't have to physically die the second he disobeyed. The text should actually read "dying you shall die." Adam's sin caused him to be evicted from the garden. God also barricaded the tree of life and gave the reason for it. Which was so he couldn't eat the fruit and perpetuate his physical life. Death is the cessation of life. Jesus died physically to pay the penalty for sin. He was resurrected physically to an immortal body not powered by mortal flesh and blood. That is the resurrection He purchased for His people. Death is the last enemy to be abolished. Christ secured that promise by dying in our place. But the process is not fully worked out yet. We still have death. But not forever as FP teaches. Peace.

I have heard that the literal reading of Genesis is dying you will die, but I read that that is typical grammatical structure to emphasize “dying” and that is why most translations render it “ you shall surly die.” Thoughts? I’m actually not even sure all preterists would agree with my take on death… we are a non homogeneous bunch☺️
Well she left the cat out of the bag about this guy she follows and recommended that if you never heard him you should go to him and stop listening to me because she thinks he got it all together theology wise. So she's listening a man to interpret the Bible for her instead of the Holy Spirit. Second she doesn't mention the Holy Spirit at all in the first 12 minutes. She says she's shy to introduce yourself but she's incredibly bold to share things in Scripture she just puts out there without backing it up with any other scripture back and forth as a confirmation in context.
She didn’t get her theology from some guy. She got it from reading the Bible without listening to preacher spin. She only started finding other preterists after coming to that conclusion from scripture. She explains it in other videos.
I consider myself a full Preterist as well, and you have likely noticed that despite the unifying aspects of that way of looking at the Bible, Preterists are still prone to argue over minutia like any denomination tends to do. For instance, who did Revelation mean was the anti-Christ? I think it was Nero -- the 666 fits him -- but it could be wrong. But it's a non-salvational matter. If anyone attacks you about obeying doctrine or Creeds over the Bible, I have just the link for you. The Apostles Creed is fine, the Nicaean creed, about the same, but the Athanasian Creed is anti-Christian. It literally says you can't go to heaven unless you believe every word of the Creed. So...look....you are all about eschatology; when, when, when, yet right in front of us, the ink is changing.......It was "mat", take up your mat... It was the book of 'revelations'. I seriously don't understand those who claim to be well versed with scripture and can't remember anything they've read, or heard in a sermon. There are SO many changes. Having never read the KJV, I can understand why many, then, attribute this to translations, etc, if they even encounter this topic. Unicorns...presidents.... etc etc. Sifting out a timeline of possible prior fulfillment could be helpful for a person's need for a historical timeline, yet what more evidence is helpful than the bible changing TODAY; greek meanings 'multiplying', etc, etc... The LION shall lay with the lamb.....now reads the wolf will lay with the lamb. There is plenty of 'residue', [evidence] to be discovered indicating this to be true. Sure, some bibles remain unaffected for particular changes, like the parable JESUS tells...regarding new wine placed into WINESKINS...not bottles, as the older, KJV now says. The parable doesn't even make sense as "bottles". The KJV was regarded as a masterpiece, now it is riddled with grammatical nonsense....like colons in odd places of sentence structures, etc.

No, death is not done. According to full preterisim, death is never going to be done because death isn't actually bad, because in the beginning, god called it very good. People in this world are going to continue dying in all kinds of horrible ways until life finally extinguishes itself as god created it to. According to full preterisim anyway.

Until you open up a closed mind on any stale thought process, that is what comes out of your mind mouth or keyboard. 25 years ago I came to her same conclusion and began to realize why the Bereans and their diligence to study to see if what is said is true was included in the Bible. Rather than making a blanket conclusion, with a rather male sexist remark, listen to her, open your mind, study the scripture a bit more.

I’ve been a believer of full preterism for about 3 years. No one in my family will listen to anything that I try to share with them, sent books and videos, but they won’t read or watch them.
They say things like “we’re all concerned about you” …”you’re following false teachers…”you’re in a cult” … “we will be praying for you to turn back because Jesus is going to be here soon” and “boy are you going to be in for a big surprise when you see Jesus riding on a big white horse in the clouds”. Oh well…I’m now labeled a heretic and shunned by some, but that’s ok, I’ll never stop sharing the truth….after all the preterist view of eschatology is such great happy news!!
The seeds have been scattered, now I pray and wait to see if they’ve fallen on fertile ground.

There was a time when I got offensive when somebody called me a heretic, but it doesn't bother me anymore knowing I was once believing what they are. If they are in Christ then we have the same Spirit and they can perceive the Truth just like us.

I really appreciate your nonchalant approach to a covenant eschatology. We Christians get so bogged down with "physical" instead of spiritual things that we misinterpret scripture. I am recently finding out more and more how New Testament passages correspond with the Old Testament.

Here's a thought I have, though. My brother once said that we are all God experiencing things, so that view made me wonder if we need physical bodies, although maybe in a much more superior form. Didn't Jesus, after his resurrection, appear to many in a body? He even ate a meal, and it seems he could walk through a wall.
Just a thought...and I'm always open to new ideas.

It breaks my heart to hear about jaded believers turning into heretics and then going on to teach that errant belief to others. I sort of went through something like that, too. Coming out of the Catholic church and not being able to find a home, I went through a very rough patch.
GOD is a SPIRIT that SPIRIT is LOVE all of us have SINNED against that spirit in word, deed and thought. There is no way to 'work it off', there is no way to escape our own conscience and there is no way BACK to that LOVE by our good works. The spectacle of JESUS dying, an innocent man, GOD'S own son taking all the abuse, despising the shame and dying is meant to get our attention.
JESUS said we have to believe that what he did paid for ALL of our sins, washing us clean and putting us back in the spirit of SINCERE LOVE. If you don't believe, you're condemned already. To me, it all makes sense.
GOD never dies...a LOVE that lives for ever.

There are so few of us who have a general and broad understanding of the truth, it’s hard when nobody around you is even willing to explore it and come to a meaningful and well researched opinion. I’m still working out all the other pieces and trying to find God’s truth…. It’s a life long journey I suppose. Interesting how we have been taught the claim of a hell and eternal torment, from creedal dogma from the pulpit. No where did Jesus condemn anyone to a hell with eternal torment, for non-belief. The Bible teaches that this (Gehenna) hell was an actual place forsaken by God, with a beginning and an ending. This mystery is hidden in plain sight, in your Bible, yet many have no clue, yet eagerly willing to send folks to this place.
Blessed are you who mourn now (first century) for you shall be comforted.
Those who call you a heretic don't want you to make a point.....at all.....ever. They can't close the truth down.

Your presentations are brilliant. You are contributing to a revival of spiritual awareness by giving us a realistic religion relevant to adults. Many churches teach platitudes and fairy-tales. The latter appeal to children, and may have appealed to people in the Middle Ages, when life expectancy was around 20, but today they lead to disillusionment and the mass cynicism you encountered at the atheistic site. But you offer more than just dead knowledge: You communicate a love for insight!
One thing to consider when interpreting is verb tense. If I say "Adam and Eve will die", it does not necessarily mean that they will die instantly. It could mean that they will be subject to death and will die someday. Spiritual death, moreover, is a matter of degree! We live and die each day -- but this spiritual death is not permanent. It is simply a matter of letting go of trauma and entanglement, old and new. Tomorrow comes and we get to do it all over again. Physical death too is a matter of degree: Most of the cells of our body live no more than a month. Consider that!

You should really not put yourself down. There is a loving comraderie between preterist that is not shared by others in the "Christian" community because we know that we have this truth (a hidden gem that we just stumbled upon) and we feel compelled out of love for others to get this information to them knowing that we are going to be ostracized.
I for one am still grateful for your teaching ability. For instance in Matthew 5:18 I was missing the "till heaven and earth pass away" part. I was honing in on "one jot or tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled"
It takes someone like you to slow things down or say it in a way so we don't miss those all important words that we sometimes miss because we are reading to fast. I learned something new and am grateful to you for pointing out that part of the scripture. Who knows how long it would have taken me to see that, if at all.
Your show is needed and necessary. We need as many of us (preterist) as possible.

Regarding Sarah taking things into her own hands, I think sometimes we’re too quick to suspect her motives. If you re-read the prophesy before Sarah gave Abraham Hagar, Sarah isn’t mentioned in the promise. What if Sarah went through menopause or had done so years before and then felt guilty that she was inhibiting God’s promise. It wasn’t until after Ishmael that Sarah was mentioned by name in the second prophesy. Just a thought.

Regarding Matthew 16:27-28 and Luke regarding THEY were in the days of vengeance. I make them think, because if they hold to the futurism they have to make Jesus a liar.

It’s a mixed bag. But the glazed look I get at times is priceless… our revelation Bible study had to be cancelled due to the unrest it was causing 3 years or so ago because of me. I took it seriously lol! That’s when it all changed, so I was 49 when the fog lifted. It’s been an interesting journey to say the least since then. I tried to see it differently but once you see it you can’t unsee it…

We are called to stand for the truth regarding these things and be able to give an account for the reason of our faith. And honestly I have more faith now in the reality of the spiritual being more real than what we have now it’s amazing. Once I had no doubt that Jesus did exactly what he said and he completely accomplished the work the father gave him, wow! Whole new type of freedom to live life and not questioning my salvation and accepting my imperfections and sin nature knowing Jesus bore it all for me so that I can go to heaven when I die and enjoy God dwelling with me now and recognizing that reality. 💥🙂

How about the parable of the talents, using both Matthew and Luke.
I always wondered why Jesus would say that the servant should have participated with the money changers then, since nothing positive was done with what was given. I thought Jesus would have been against that, since it is basically being of the world.
But then the final judgement came and my thought is that the negative judgement would be the same for somebody who was a Christian in name only or also for any non-Christian who is worshiping money and worldly things.

A while back I was listening to a video on Adam & Eve and God telling them they will die if they eat of the tree of knowledge of good & evil. The speaker commented that the ancient Hebrews used the word "yom" to represent two different time periods: a 24-hour day and 1,000 years. He went on to say that it was possible that the use of "yom" there could be representative of 1,000 years - in which case with Adam living 900+ years, he would have died during that "yom" (1,000 year period). I haven't been able to verify that anywhere else but find it possible. Something to consider anyway.
@@kirkrowland5823 I have heard that argument before too, but it doesn’t make much sense to me. The genesis story uses the words evening and morning over and over again. So I feel like the word “day“ in this context definitely has a 24 hour feel. I would be curious to know their evidence for “day “being 1000 years other than the verse from first Peter, which I think is just telling them to have patience. I mean if they use that reckoning then Jesus was in the ground for 3000 years and Jonah was in the belly of the whale for 3000 years.😂❤️🙏 it is true that the word day can have different meanings but the context of Genesis definitely screams the typical 24 hour day, if not it wouldn’t be much of a threat to say 900 years from now you’re going to die. That’s just how I see it anyway.😉

Not an "inspired" work but maybe a glimpse into the ancient Hebrew thought/understanding. I believe in the 24 hour day of creation but am open to a variance in usage of the word "yom" as it relates to different scenarios. We will find out one day.

Great job. I have a couple of thoughts that are my perception, but before I share them, did you know that there is a tree in your house. I'm sure you have probably seen it. 🤣
Typically in the evangelical world the death experienced by eating the fruit in the garden is referred to as a spiritual death and thus everyone from that point on is spiritually dead and separated from God.
I don't think anyone could ever be separated from God because it is His Spirit that animates us and gives us life. Paul said we were alienated from God in our minds.
My understanding is this: Eating the fruit brought death to the soul, not spirit, as you said several times in speaking of our soul being saved from death. This caused a perceived separation, not an actual one and I think it is illustrated in the tabernacle/temple.
There was a veil between the presence of God (Holy of Holies) and the place of life and ministry (Holy Place). When sin and death was overcome by Jesus death and subsequently His resurrection, that symbolic veil in the Temple was ripped apart, leaving the world open to the very presence of God.
And literally in humanity, the death that came upon us through Adam, and the veil that it erected between our soul and spirit, was removed. In fact we died with Him. WE were crucified with Christ.
Again Paul said we were alienated from God in our MIND. The mind is part of our soul.
So the death that was upon all humanity through Adam was a death or perceived death of the soul and that was reversed and overcome by Jesus the last Adam.
In my opinion all humanity was redeemed, justified, reconciled and born again by the blood, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And from a preterist viewpoint (I think), we were set free from the slavery of and to the law and began the 40 year journey into the finalization of that transition. Just some thoughts.
If you really want to have some fun in your heresy, come on into the Trinitarian inclusion, universal reconciliation crowd. So, I'm journeying from one heresy to another and it is fun and exciting.

It seems that we will always have a body, but as you mentioned from Corinthians, it will be a spiritual body. I guess we will know one day when we experience it.

@@kristinbingamon568 One other thought I had recently concerning death. Sheol and Hades were the Hebrew and Greek words for the grave or the place of the dead.
Revelation speaks of death and hades being cast into the lake of fire. To me this suggests that there is no more death. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, not in the place of the dead, which no longer exists.
Maybe a stretch, maybe not. It seems that although we may leave this mortal body behind, we do not die, we simply change dimensions or realms.

I think that you underestimate the original creation and that the body is alsmost the crown of creation that becomes a living soul (with choice and will, mind if you will) this body must be filled with spirit in order to live. Thus the body is the temple of the spirit. lastly we must be careful of having the form of godliness but denying the power thereof. I must say I admire your deep dive into the scriptures.

So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Hebrews 8:7-12 is where I keep thinking we all might be under the new covenant. I’ve been studying the covenant God made with Abraham trying to find out what our part is or if we have no part (not even faith) because the covenant was “in you (Abraham) shall all families of the earth be blessed” correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t see faith as a requirement from us for God to keep the promise He made to Abraham. But all shall know God because “I will be merciful to their unrighteousness & their sins & lawless deeds I will remember no more”. So I don’t see how anyone is excluded & since there is no law there is no sin. Despite us putting ourselves back under law & back under sin & death (mostly religious ppl, ironically atheists might be the most free). So this has always been my approach to the gospel, not to save people, but to tell them they’ve already been saved & help set them free from the law of sin & death.
It's a rare treat to hear someone articulate the preterist view so thoroughly with Scripture! I have recently come across preterist materials that also agree with the physical resurrection being a First Century phenomenon (John 5:21-29). I just felt vindicated that a small minority of Christians are done with futurist mirages, and are taking a serious look at preterism. I have only recently swallowed the First Century Rapture pill, courtesy of Dr. Edward Stevens. I suggest him, Don Preston, Mike Sullivan, "Fulfilled" magazine, etc. as resources for anyone wishing to look further. It's a narrow path, and it keeps getting narrower! 🤯 But it's fulfilling (pun intended).

The first thing we need to do as believers whether Preterist, Satan's Little Season or futurist and in keeping with the "spiritual" theme is to come out of spiritual Babylon Revelation 18:4 which is the church i.e all buildings & institutions that call themselves the church.
Also I am wondering as someone myself who believes in dual fulfillment of Prophecy, what Full Preterists would say if there was a mark of some kind people were forced to take in order to buy and sell? And if there was a One World Religion that had to do with worshipping a particular individual aka a final Antichrist❓ Just hypothetically if all that were to happen or happen again I wonder what Full Preterists would say. Would they then admit that this definitely is a dual fulfillment of the book of Revelation?
As far as the heretic thing Orthodox believers as well as partial Preterists would say to Full Preterists, that it is heresy (yet saying it in love) because it's basically saying there's nothing to do with Prophecy concerning us who are here now. And therefore we are just kinda here with no real significance and that just doesn't line up at all, especially during the church age and even now after the death of the churches and congregations. His faithful servants are continuing to lead many outside the church to salvation spreading wisdom, knowledge & understanding to many thousands and millions of people. Separating the wheat from the tares in these final days. Yet when Preterists look at the book of Revelation and see nothing that pertains to us at all who are living now on this current earth, and as having an important role in preparing people for what is to come then I'd agree that would be heresy.
Also it does say nothing impure or that causes abomination or a lie will enter into the new heaven and new earth. Revelation 21:27. And again these words and their definitions in the Greek all have literal meanings and interpretations not referring to something spiritual.
Impure also means "defiled" or something that is common shared by many or all and it also means profane. And if God is faithful and true, which He is, and means what He says here then this clearly lays out what will not be allowed in the new heaven and new earth.
I do like the fact you used more scripture in this one and made some really good points to support your claim, yet I still know what I believe to be true, and that Satan's Little Season must be addressed first before everyone should just skip ahead to the New heaven and NEW earth 🙂 I think showing both sides of an argument is always the best approach and the pluses and minuses for each side, which I think helps go a long way in what people need to narrow down in their mind, and in taking notes for the most logical accounting of what God is talking about concerning this topic specifically.
Also I think the verses pertaining to comfort and rest for our souls has to do with the generation reading it as well as future ones until Revelation is complete. After all that's the only way people could read and understand those passages is while they're still alive 😉 I don't think they are to be interpreted the same way after death, but they are to help give us hope and strength to get us through this first life, NOT our second life and eternity in the New heaven and New earth which will be much better! And I do agree in our new bodies it will be much better than these ones and will be completely different, but what good would that be if there isn't a completely different better new heaven and NEW earth to go with it?? See the point there 😏✝️👑 It's not just the new heaven that goes with our new bodies but the New Earth as well.

I was just speaking about the religious part, we all know and it's well taught that one or more than one part of the church has been as a harlot, the churches are now filled with the lies and abominations of Satan and there are many verses that talk about it the "falling away", false teachers that will go from bad to worse deceiving and being deceived which has to do with churches, the Apostate church and churches that lost their first Love, "high places" which are shines in the OT and also places of idolatry. Which matches and again it should be very obvious all these things represent the modern day churches. They are evil and wicked and God has exited the churches because they have not repented after much patience by the Lord. If He and his spirit were still in churches and using them as He once did it would be very clear, but what is clear is they are now used like businesses to sell and promote merchandise and to profit off of His name for ungodly gain and to pervert the gospel. People can and do choose to walk in blindness but it's very obvious for those who have the spiritual eyes and ears to see and hear the blasphemies coming from and out of churches today. They are part of the evil system that is Babylon but not as far as the location or the city. I know preterists view all that happening in 70 AD and to do with Jerusalem, yet there can be and is more than one type Babylon just like there are many Antichrists. Like I said I firmly believe in dual prophecies and cycles repeating themselves in our times. The main verses people uses are for the Vatican and Rome as Babylon yet I think it's more than just them. Babylon is an evil wicked Empire with a lot of power and wealth and influence, and part of that does have a spiritual component which has to do with the church. There are lots of verse but if people want to make Babylon something else only then they will, but it's clear to most Christians the spiritual aspect of it does have to do with the church in some form.
@@kristinbingamon568 Yes it is very significant being UNDER the new covenant of grace by Jesus finished work on the cross for our salvation 🙌 Yet that's still different than living IN the new covenant (which I know is what you said) 😁😉😊 I still cannot equate the New Covenant with the New heaven and New earth and that this is the NEW Earth. This is the same earth Jesus and his disciples lived and walked on, the same earth John wrote the book of Revelation on 📜 and there is nothing in Jesus' own words that would say otherwise. It's the same fallen, corrupt sinful world it's always been, there's nothing "new" about it and if there is I'd like to know what that is and backed up by something Jesus or John said preferably Jesus.
I think there really needs to be some concrete evidence that shows how this could be the new earth and what makes it different from the old one. The only thing that makes it different are the people, cause other generations that have gone before us have obviously physically died. But other than that this is the exact same earth it's always been and it would be very hard to prove otherwise. And it would need to be something strikingly unique and specific that shows that it is different from what you would refer to as the old earth (and to me is still this same one). Keeping in mind that there is currently lots of evidence that exists of the Tribulation period in 70AD as well as The Millennial Kingdom thousand year reign. If it was a new earth there still wouldn't be all this evidence of the things that occured from back then for another thing 💡 There are so many signs, markers and evidence that shows this cannot be the New Earth, but people that want so badly to believe that it is just won't let go of this belief that cannot have happened yet 🙄 It's wishful thinking but not grounded in reality at all. Yet I still respect your opinions of course however the percentage of people that actually believe this is very small, which shows not enough Christians see any evidence for this either. It's something that can exist in people's minds but that's about it. People can say something and believe it to be true and to them it is but in reality it's not.

I disagree on the full preterist position that death is done. It's not done. Neither spiritual nor physical.
Most of the world is spiritually dead. And all die physically.
To be spiritually dead is to be dead to God.
Contrarily, being spiritually alive means alive to God. That simply means that you have an awareness of your connection to Him and your life and decisions are ordered through the influence of that connection.
Adam's sin created a breach in his relationship with God. The penalty was physical death. Adam didn't have to physically die the second he disobeyed. The text should actually read "dying you shall die."
Adam's sin caused him to be evicted from the garden. God also barricaded the tree of life and gave the reason for it. Which was so he couldn't eat the fruit and perpetuate his physical life.
Death is the cessation of life. Jesus died physically to pay the penalty for sin. He was resurrected physically to an immortal body not powered by mortal flesh and blood. That is the resurrection He purchased for His people.
Death is the last enemy to be abolished. Christ secured that promise by dying in our place.
But the process is not fully worked out yet. We still have death. But not forever as FP teaches. Peace.

I have heard that the literal reading of Genesis is dying you will die, but I read that that is typical grammatical structure to emphasize “dying” and that is why most translations render it “ you shall surly die.” Thoughts? So she's listening a man to interpret the Bible for her instead of the Holy Spirit.
Second she doesn't mention the Holy Spirit at all in the first 12 minutes.
She says she's shy to introduce yourself but she's incredibly bold to share things in Scripture she just puts out there without backing it up with any other scripture back and forth as a confirmation in context.

I consider myself a full Preterist as well, and you have likely noticed that despite the unifying aspects of that way of looking at the Bible, Preterists are still prone to argue over minutia like any denomination tends to do. For instance, who did Revelation mean was the anti-Christ? I think it was Nero -- the 666 fits him -- but it could be wrong. But it's a non-salvational matter. If anyone attacks you about obeying doctrine or Creeds over the Bible, I have just the link for you. The Apostles Creed is fine, the Nicaean creed, about the same, but the Athanasian Creed is anti-Christian. It literally says you can't go to heaven unless you believe every word of the Creed. Sifting out a timeline of possible prior fulfillment could be helpful for a person's need for a historical timeline, yet what more evidence is helpful than the bible changing TODAY; greek meanings 'multiplying', etc, etc... The LION shall lay with the lamb.....now reads the wolf will lay with the lamb. There is plenty of 'residue', [evidence] to be discovered indicating this to be true.
Sure, some bibles remain unaffected for particular changes, like the parable JESUS tells...regarding new wine placed into WINESKINS...not bottles, as the older, KJV now says.
The parable doesn't even make sense as "bottles". The KJV was regarded as a masterpiece, now it is riddled with grammatical nonsense....like colons in odd places of sentence structures, etc.
