As someone who has been around much longer than Steph Curry we worry WAAAAAYYYYYYY too much on young guys 3pt %. We have seen over and over and over again that guys extend their shots as they grow into their grown man strength and experience. Stop writing off 19 year olds that do everything else well simply because they aren't already elite before they can even buy a beer!!!

@@aaronarnold6136 well we don’t know that. The Hawks, wizards and rockets picked before us and all of them basically have an established PG and there roster for their future. Who knows if teams even consider Castle even with the 3pt.
I think his shot will come, at least to some extent. It looked good in high school, but he never really had the green light at UConn to shoot it. I'm confident that the Spurs will not only work on developing it, but also insist he puts it's up as much as he wants that first year.

Wemby found his Castle! He does not need to be lights out on his shooting this early. Few rookies especially a 19yr old does. But damn with Castle that point of attack defense just got a hyper boost. If you are lucky to get past Castle then Wemby will be there to swat that ball to the heavens. Guys in 2 years we shall have one of the leagues best defense with Castle and Wemby. I think a Lauri M trade is coming to San Antonio. Reports say CP3 is expected to start. I love Castle but he’s still a rook. I believe he will get great backup minutes like 20-24 minutes behind CP3 to help grow and not throw him in the fire.

I didn’t know much about this guy, but after seeing his defense and patience on offense i was gold Spurs drafted him. Kind of the ideal player in the now NBA future is exciting right now hopefully everything goes right.

Derick White shot 31% his last year with Spurs. Caruso didn't shoot more than 2 3s a game until this past season. Nonetheless, only saying his floor is a do it all guard role player.
