obviously i am biased about lisa y'all. i said it in the beginning of the video that i'm mainly here for lisa bc i thought it was dope seeing her collab with a k-pop group. my bad tho bc ik y'all are mainly here for stray kids, so it might've been cringe seeing me want more lisa lines on a song where she is a feature and after listening to the song again and again, she def has a sufficient amount of lines when i take into account that there are 8 members like y'all told me. i didn't realize how many members there were during the reaction, i forgot stray kids is a big group. so i'm sorry if it felt like i was just ignoring them or something, i def wasn't trying to 😢. i guess my lisa bias did blind me a bit, but just know that i really like the song anyway y'all ✌️
also i really wanted to listen/react to a stray kids song a long time ago bc i saw them at kcon LA 2019 and i really liked their performance. idk why it never happened, but here we are now. better late than never i guess! should i continue with more if i liked this song?

Stray Kids are HUGE anime fans. If you pay attention to the lyrics of some of their other tracks, you may catch references to several different anime! Also their tracks "TOP" and "Slump" are the opening and ending OST for Tower of God. Recently, the producing unit of Stray Kids, 3Racha, wrote and produced "Paradise" for the recent Doraemon movie. Being anime and gaming guys they likely have mad respect for LiSA and were geeking out on this track. The song featured her perfectly! I love her layered vocals with all the members in that last section and especially love that she is singing in English! Just 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Kudos to 3Racha for this track!
Since you last saw Stray Kids in 2019, they've dropped another 100 songs crossing every genre of music. That's really not an exaggeration! It's what I find fascinating about them. They aren't pigeonholed into one style and can go from hip hop, to rock, to rap, to a ballad, to dance. I guarantee there are multiple tracks for everyone. For me the last 4 full albums are no skips.

We just had Troye Sivan “feature” Hyunjin of Stray kids on Rush. It was 8 words. 🤣 LiSA got half the choruses and an outro and ate it all, leaving no crumbs.
This is one of my favorite japanese skz song. For me LiSA got enough part in the song. She got parts of the chorus and in the outro. Given there's 8 members that need to get lines as well. Chan (skz leader) is a big fan of Lisa so it's an honor for them to feature her. He even shared that he can't believe that they had the opportunity. ❤ Thanks for the reaction
LISA has "alot parts" i would say.... We are talking about an 8 member group. Its not that easy and straykids had "small" problems with Line distribution but it gets better better !! I think the Line distribution is good and i know some people want a LISA verse but who else should do the Part in the Hook 😂 ITS perfect for her !😅😊

They are amazing!
The song was written by Bangchan (skz leader and main producer) and is about his journey as a trainee and the hardships that he went through during those 7 years before finally debuting. Personally, I love the song so much and it has become one of my top favorites on their discography. However, I do think since it's a Japanese release and with such a big feature like liSA, I expected less english in the lyrics. i would have preferred her to sing in Japanese!
Glad to see someone who watched this to mainly hear LiSa 😄 coz i already watched a lot of reactors only watched it for skz. i also wanna see someone who likes LiSa a bit more like me. I've been listening to her songs since 2012 so I also was so hype to see her here with skz, a kpop group that I stan. So glad skz collaborated with her. I also haven't seen her featured on others as well so this is so new. It would be nice if LiSa would also join them on stage or something huhu

Stray Kids debut in 2018, so when you saw them they were probably still a 9 member group. One member left just before their second year, and right before a major comeback. It was a mess. But they came back stronger for it. So they are a 8 member group. So now when we see older MVs, we just go "Oh yeah. That guy." We don't count him as a member.
Oh. One thing to know. All the Japanese albums & songs from Stray Kids don't have subtitles. It seems to be something the company they are signed with in Japan does. Because almost all the Korean songs have subtitles.
Chan has always looked up to LiSA & the Kids were very excited to collaborate with her. They watch a lot of anime themselves.
Ok. Chan has talked about how he wrote the lyrics about his years as a trainee. Since he was a trainee for 7 years, he has seen a lot of mental suffering watching all his friends either debut without him, or get dropped from the programs.
Let's see. Things I noticed in the MV.
-The bag people seem to be representative of both faceless people who are both worshiping & hating at the same time, or inner doubts & thoughts that come when they are alone.
-I.N is the first to stand against the tide of people & grasp the light.
-Everyone stays isolated till Chan gets taken by the hands. They all had separate things happening. Being isolated, being stared at, being forced to constantly run, being chained in one place, etc. Then Chan is taken & they are suddenly moving.
-liSA seems to be a unified voice leading them in a direction. She has the lines " the ashes to prove my passion burning endlessly" (Or close to it....I am horrible at remembering exact lyrics)
-When they are unified & moving against the crowds, the ones who are most able to withstand pressure without flinching are in the lead. (Lee Know, and Changbin are the most obvious at the front making a path for the others)
-When they reach the wall Chan had been trapped against, they tear it open. There is only 7 of them when this happens....They are going through to reach Chan. (Chan has said in multiple instances that the other members have saved him. If it wasn't for them, he doesn't even think he would be on this planet)
-When they are 8 is the only time you see them smile.
-There are shadowy hands that are trying to touch Changbin in the beginning, and just as he wakes up you see clawed hands reflected in his eyes/the moon.
-Felix's wing actually kinda seems slightly separate from him. Almost as if he has a guardian angel protecting him. It lifts & reveals him a little before starting to cover him again.
-In the final dance scene, the only ones with no red in their outfit are Chan, Changbin, and Felix. I listened to someone explain that the colours kinda mean something. liSA has a strong red & black theme. She seems to represent courage & determination. The others have red in their outfits because they gained those from outside sources. (Like the other members, or helpful people) The three who have no red are ones who already had those and didn't get them from an outside source. Changbin & Felix are the least effected during the MV. Felix already had an inner fire, and Changbin refused the shadowy hands. Chan was taken, but he didn't stop trying to escape. There are many flashes of Chan staring ahead, or jerking awake & not just allowing himself to be swallowed. You see him float above the people who took him, until the others break through to him.
YOU SHOULD REACT TO ALL OF THEIR JAPANESE COMEBACK LIKE TOP (OST FOR TOWER OF GOD), ALL IN AND MANY MORE. THEY'RE ALL FIRE 🔥
I think they might collab again in the future. Just a guess, but the response to THIS collab was so good, I think they'll consider another one.

I am Stay and I really respect your opinion... I think Chan is the Happiest Fan of Lisa that he made a colab with STRAYKIDS ... Honestly I just only knew Lisa since they announced their going to have a Collab and I love that She Shine here and gave her more lines.. This is just a show how the Boys really embraced .. They have fun and proud at the same time. THE KIDS did a Great Job but the timing of Lisa Verse was totally made her Shine.. She did Great.
I came to see you check out Stray Kids (I'm not as familiar with LiSA) but really loved how both of their sounds seemed to blend together. They seem to fit in nicely with each other as a cohesive whole. I liked your reaction and since you seem to enjoy anime etc, would suggest you check out their songs "TOP" and "Slump". It was used in a series called "Tower of God" (I've never seen the series myself). They performed "Slump" on the Japanese show "The First Take". I hope you'll give Stray Kids more listens. Am curious, as someone who doesn't really listen/watch anime themselves, what is your go-to LiSA song?

Ok... so I'm sure everyone has already given you an ear full but I just want to point out that a person that is "featured" is not going to have major parts in the song. After all, it's Stray Kids "FT" LiSA so you know... Sorry. lol
