You should do a "depth charts rebuild"- do a fantasy draft with the rules being as followed: have to follow the depth chart( start with qbs and have to get both 1st string 2nd string and if you usually go 3rd string qbs before even going to the next position, rb, etc.) Until you get to kicker and punter. Your last picks should be cb,ss,fs,k,p. Could also do this in reverse! Loving the video brandon!

Day 21 of commenting this rebuild idea: make an expansion team and follow these rules. You can take 1 player from each team but the teams get to protect their starter roster. This roster would be qb1, rb1/2, wr1/2/3, te1/2, each starter on the oline, le1, re1, dt1/2, lolb1, rolb1, mlb1/2, cb1/2/3, ss1, fs1, k1, and p1. You'll then have a 32 man roster that you can fill by signing free agents. But your team is a new team on a low budget so you can only sign free agents to 1 year deals starting preseason week 1. However you resign whichever players you want for however long you want. You can also make whatever trades you want. For the draft you let the cpu pick to spice things up. You end the vid once you win a super bowl.

Rebuild idea: you do a rebuild, but you can't scout any player
Should do a fantasy draft but everyone has to switch the positions they are draft. So if you get Lamar can plan anything but QB, or Sauce Gardner can play anything but CB, etc.

Loved the video, just a couple of small things, you can trade picks with no cap space, the trade just can't include any players. Also, you don't have to make an offer to franchise tag a player. You can withdraw the offer, refresh, and franchise tag them without having to ever offer them anything.

I don't know if this will work, but during the draft trade down for a ton of next years picks, then do that for every rounds, and do that year after year. Then, once collected a load of #1 picks, go crazy.

Day one. Do a rebuild, with no recievers. You can use tightend, and runningbacks, but no recievers. Whichever team you choose, you can trade them but only for picks.

My rebuild idea that I’ve been cooking up is this: simultaneously rebuild the chiefs and cowboys from 0 overall teams. This will keep them out of the Super Bowl for a couple years and then you can maybe shoot for a cowboys chiefs Super Bowl once you’ve rebuilt them
Now do this with one meme player & you have to build your franchise around him.
Use a team of only rookies, no trades for the first 3 seasons. Can drag every pick for the first 3(helps build the base )Trade top player each year you miss the playoffs. No more than 1 pick in each draft each off-season you miss. When you win you can trade 2 starters but no more.

You can still resign player in free agency and other teams players but it adds difficulty as in order to sign good player you will probably have to overpay
do the same thing you did here, just no free agents. obviously you'll need some for the first few years, but only the oldest/lowest rated player in the post draft free agents list for positions of need. I do these a lot and they're super fun, by season 4 or 5 you'll have a full team of your own draft picks so it's up to you to draft well and develop them.

so in real life the nfl decides the teams schedules based off the previous years standings. So 2 seeds play 2 seeds, 1 seeds play 1 seeds and so on, and thats where the term "strength of schedule" in madded. When a low overall team comes in 1st or 2nd in their division and has to play the 1st or 2nd seeds of other divisions its going to be a harder schedule than if they came in 3rd or 4th the previous year
