Don't know anything about cars, but Philly is a rock solid dude. We've worked across the street from each other for almost a decade. One of the most infectious personalities in a city filled with them.
This is what car culture is all about! Wrenching on something that instills happiness, friendships&ohana into one's heart&soul. Much luv&respect from Hawaii 🤙🏽
He's the only one who's lowriding and skating whilst running a skate shop, designing clothes for Butter Goods and Cash Only and having designed a Vans Half cab skateshoe on his resume. So others might be skating and lowriding but he's rolling on another level.

I live in a small town an hour south of Chicago and there’s a shop that’s been pumping out low riders. We don’t have a scene here but I see them working on new cars like every week. The candy paint is insanely beautiful.
A wagon on hydraulics makes about as much sense as the absolutely slammed on coilovers 3rd Gen Prelude I had. It was slow af, but fun, could drive under the train traffic control arm with ease, it was lowwwww. Every bump in town memorized lol.
From JDM to low riders and adding those little japanese details to it is a very nice subtle touch. Intetestingly, Japan also has a thriving low rider subculture where they mimic every aspect of the low rider lif3 style.
Those front upper a-arms are at least 1.5in extended. Looks like more like 2in. I had 1.5in ext a-arms on an MC and I went through front tires in about 5,000 miles.
Nice wagon bro I just sold mine bro they said man don't cry I cry I love my wagon but I was in that situation family o wagon much respect and love from Los Angeles 😎😎😎
I remember the first time I saw this car cruising around in the city. Definitely made me consider doing a wagon project. & I know it’s hard to capture on video but that pink pearl in person is mesmerizing.
Yuhhhhh!!!!! Yo that wagon is not my toucb but its his and thats what lowriding is about!!! Your own personal touch there is no two lolos that are the same!!! Luv that wag and the stance nd way it hits them switches it looks helllaa strong and ready for w.e!! Props!!!
My dad always says it ain’t a lowrider if it ain’t an impala. OG rider from the 80s-90s. I have a ‘67 SS myself but Therese something about these 80s coupe caprices and Malibu wagons. There’s prob a smaller checklist with riding my 67 so to just get in and dip is dope. Looks clean bro
Yeah, 98 Civic Sedan, building to have a lowrider setup. Why? Because! I Love Honda/Japanese cars, and Love my LowRider culture! This is my setup and not for pleasing anyone else except me.
One way you could have made it stand out was to make it a two door. Two door wagons are so much cooler than four door wagons. Two door cars in general just look sportier. The world seems to have forgotten that.

Great job on this wagon. I have one sitting in my warehouse and I've been going back and forth between lowrider or performance build. You have swayed me to the lowrider build...
There are Boso styled cars, which you obviously noticed as well that there are zero in the video. Not the kind of mistake I'd expect from this channel.
Yeah dude put a steering wheel and shift knob on his lowrider and called it JDM and Bozo 😅. Just because I have a Silvia doesn’t mean my Monte Carlo with a Nissan transmission is JDM inspired.
I think he was talking about his carrola that’s slammed in the vid. Would that count as boso though? I feel like the boso cars have so much crazy shit too
I'm sorry but any of those cars have anything related to bosozoku other than he saw a truck in Japan lowered, this more like cholo's ramflas or bombitas lowriders to it.
Right, when they are showing Lowriders in the N.O., first thought is Curren$y, then he has on a Cruise Life shirt, yep, was automatically looking for him, but i see all his cars 😁

Go check him out, hes really a legend in Louisiana skateboarding.

It’s a gbody like every other Malibu, Regal, Cutlass, ElCamino, and Monte
100% not my style, but can tell it brings this guy and this community pure joy, so I’m all about it. Party on.
Might nor be your style but it's still a sick car

JDM meets lowrider is such a vibe.
Hella respect to Phil. Dude is a real one from day one. Sick car. Dope skating. Wish we were closer coming up in 90s NOLA.
Very well done, nice work. As a skater who grew up on the west side, both lowriders and skating have always been part of my life.
Phil is a great guy, one of the realest dudes I’ve met

What a great story and history!! Love his passion and the family he's made out of it, nothing better!

Wow brother from another mother. Growing up I was also into skating, graffiti and lowriders
Great video, well shot and put together. Combining skate style with car culture has always been my thing, Wavy embodies many of my favorite aspects.

Dude I want a low rider now
They’re pretty cheap besides the frame issues but I think my cousin sold his for like $4,800 to someone in Alaska
Hope the lady who he got this car from has a tear in her eye (in a good way) if seeing this 😎
Cool vid
