Man that guy can drive. I don't like to ride with other people driving but I think I would be just fine with him behind the wheel. Loved this video thank you for taking us for a ride.
That’s a great group of extremely talented guys right there. All you have to do is look at their builds. Everyone helping each other out when needed. I would love to hang out with these fellas and see these sweet rides in person.
Its still exists, lots of older and middle aged car guys still gtg cruise wrench on eachothers cars. We just dont get carried away if the beer starts flowing.

Awesome wagon! Lonnie is a foot flat to the floorboard guy for sure. That HMC walkthrough was also amazing, every one of those cars was a classic and in primo condition- those guys have serious good taste in cars. What a great episode!
1:06 minutes into the video and I already LOVE this car! A sleeper that is ANYTHING but a sleeper! I do hope this guy works for a tire shop or at least owns stock in Good Year or the like cause he gonna go through them back ones mighty fast!! Awesome video Shawn, gave it a like already!
These guys are great. What an amazing video brother I truly appreciate this one. Being from the ghetto myself I love you bridging the gap. Theirs a lot of good in the ghetto it’s not all dark so I really respect you for this one
That's so cool. I love when you go to the hood to chill with these brothers. I love their crew. I remember the pick up truck burnout. This wagon is special to me for many different reasons. Everything about it is cool. I would call it the Scandalous Chevelle wagon. Reminds me of growing up in that part of LA, around men like this, working on cars like these. Grew up in the valley lots of st racing then. Went down to the st races in LA mid 80s its a different world for sure. They had seriously fast cars then. Made our version look like childs play lol
Wow great video. I loved it. That car is a bad ass. And what a driver he drove the hell out of that thing no hands and all. He had me cracking up. Probably one of my favorite videos yet. Great job again grill. Lol.
Excellent presentation. Thank you. I really loved this one. That guy can freaking drive that thing. That is a big ass, heavy long car. He is focused and on point. Love it.
Cool car, love the concept, that 60e is a ticking timebomb though 😂😂 Hopefully they built it with 70e+ strength parts and it lasts a while. It warms my heart that the 'Hood respects the classic muscle cars.
Yoooo my man in the intro marinading the chicken on the grille with Red Bull is wild. Red Bull in the grilling game now. I can't wait to see him grill while jumping outta a plane or walking a 20 mile tightrope.
Cant blame him! I freak out when others drive me...but I know Lanny could control it if I was shotgun. Hes got the experience. Still would prolly crap my pants a lil though lol

@gordocarbo You're right-the Bay Area has been known for this style of driving since the late '80s and early '90s. The Bay definitely put this kind of driving on the map with videos like HOOD 2 HOOD and many others. We used to hit the streets after every club night, whether it was Fridays, Saturdays, or even during the week. But it all started on the weekends, sliding on fools after the clubs, trying to impress the ladies. I'm no youngster by any means, but those were the days, lol.
I love that they’re still building ol school motors. You don’t always need a LS to make power
Agreed
That myth wont die. How some believe you cant build more than 350hp with a gen 1 is pure ignorance.
@@gordocarbo You would have to be an idiot to think, let alone believe that.
I completely agree. Don’t get me wrong I think they’re great motors but, I get tired of hearing “ put a LS in it”
LS 1500hp SBC 2000hp need lsx to do 2000 hp
My 2 favorite episodes were this and blank's 1000 horsepower truck. Please do more episodes on these guys. They deserve their own series, to be honest
All I can say is Grill earned his Hood Stripes today! Lonnie gave you a ride not too many people will ever SAFELY get to experience.
So much fun riding with him. Seriously badass driver
