Since there are too many assumptions about Furina's vision, please let me to explain it better-
Neuvillette did not personally grant Furina vision. It was granted through Celestia's automated process of taking powers from Authority holders and giving it to worthy beings in the form of visions.
After Fontaine's archon quests, Neuvillette obtained the Hydro Authority.

So this means Furina's vision is special - in the sense it's not granted by Celestia, but by Neuvillette... and this means Celestia has no control over her. So in this way, Focalors truly did deceive the Heavenly Principles, and gave Furina her promised freedom.

As it sai's that they can't grant or deny. It's simply because Neuvilettes have the authority of that element. Furina's Vision is not special because she is only the first vision holder of that fraction of power that is now coming from the hydro dragon Neuvilette. Let us not confuse ourselves that Neuvi grants it because it is false. The criteria of having a vision still follows Celestia's requirement by writing that rule in Teyvat.

    From Furina's Character Story: Vision
"According to the script, she was not to take up the Vision that would appear before her as she disappeared, but instead allow it to fall into the ocean depths alone. But during the actual performance, a real Vision appeared, and it belonged to Furina.
Visions are usually objects that appear in response to *humankind's most fervent wishes,* but this one, in particular, seemed *more like a reward* for her past deeds."
An automated vision is given if a person's wishes/ambitions reached the heavens. But the fact that it is stated here that her vision is more of a reward for her previous deeds should tell us that the vision is given to her more personally.
Think about it, would celestia really reward her for destroying the hydro archon throne? For returning the authority back to the dragon sovereign? It would only make sense that it's Neuvillette who gave her the vision.

    • @Negolossauro
      @Negolossauro 6 месяцев назад +48

no, neuvillette reward her, he literally says this
there's no hydro throne and no hydro archon, the hydro authority belongs to neuvillette now, the authority of the element and the visions he gives have no connection with celestia or celestial principles anymore

    • @c.c.8866
      @c.c.8866 6 месяцев назад +9

You made one thing wrong. It wasn't Furina who destroyed the Hydro Archon Throne, it was Focalors. Sure, she took part in it but she was never aware of the plan therefore her resilience was nothing more but a proof of her humanity. And that, I believe, even Celestia will not ignore to reward. The thing is you have this grand idea that the entirety of Celestia is evil, and therefore everyone who sides with the archons is something they should be wary of but that's not often the case. Hence, I do believe that Celestia CAN and WILL reward Furina for her strong will. After all, it is not her who destroyed the throne. She only played her part.
So no, it doesn't make sense for Neuvillette to give her vision. Visions were only a thing AFTER the archon war. None had visions when the dragons ruled Teyvat, if there was- it would've been mentioned in the Enkanomiya Books which had writings from the culture of the world before Primordial One.

    • @SeanCrosser
      @SeanCrosser 6 месяцев назад +2

That "seemed" is kinda throwing a wrench in the "Her vision was intentionally given by Neuvillette" explanation.
Because it feels like it is written like a narrative, and how she feels like the Vision is a reward for the work she's done.
Because her entire story still fits the struggle and breakthroughs of previous Hydro vision bearers. Her realising how acting, "putting herself on the stage", as it were, is how she can benefit those around is very similar to Barbara, Candace, Kokomi, Ayato, Yelan, Nilou.
Yes Neauvillette could have chosen to reward Furina with a Vision, but I'll need direct confirmation for that. Because as it is, Furina's actions fits the general mold of previously shown Hydro recipients.

The kindness of Neuvillette and Focalors is going to be a very big contrast compared to the land of war Natlan... It does show how serene water can be though, I like it.

From how Fontaine Archon and world quests perform, it's similar to Honkai main story focusing on Seele, due to the concept of duality, the sea/ocean in the metaphorical sense, and Death/Rebirth. Neuvillette, Furina, and Focolor hold many similar characteristics as Seele, both light (original, later on awakens as Herrscher of Rebirth) and Dark (Stigmata self Veliona).
The Hydro authority is Genshin's equivalent of the Herrscher authority of Death/Rebirth due to its similar capability. Neuvillette feat of saving the Fontaine people, allowing them to become actual humans is similar to Seele using the herrscher authority of Rebirth to create new bodies for the souls trapped within the twin bubble universes. Both cases involve the phenomenon of consciousness retention (Primordial Waters retain the dissolved Fontaine humans consciousness, the twin bubble universes keep the souls within). Both authorities needed roundabout methods to attain, which also involves gathering energy at a focus point (imaginary singularity and energy within the Ortice)

We thought they may turn out to be secretly evil because of the demon names, but they actually look like tools shoved between Celestia and the dragons whose powers they stole. What I'm much more curious about is the Descenders. We are the 4th. We know the 1st was the Primordial One, and we know that the 3rd was made into the Gnoses. So, the question is this: was the Traveller's sibling the 2nd descender (doesn't make much sense, since it would mean they fought against the Primordial One 6k years ago, which doesn't gel with their role in Khaenri'ah 500 year prior to the game's start) or the 3rd (which doesn't make much sense, because the Gnoses were handed out after the Archon War, which happened 2000+ years ago, which also doesn't gel with their role in Khaenri'ah). What I love about Furina’s story quest is that it’s highly suggested that Neuvillette gave her her vision himself as a reward for her phenomenal performance and to give Furina’s final act on stage a happy end. It’s really apparent that Neuvillette has come to care for humanity, Fontaines, and especially Furina since learning about her suffering. Even though it was all in Focalors’ successful plan to fool the heavily principles to use his connection to humanity as her advantage, it’s a beautiful thing to see Neuvillette still care so much about others and be so selfless knowing just how much he’s been through.
I think the reason why Neuvillette gave Furina her vision is to not only reward her for her phenomenal resolve and act, but to also give her a way to protect herself in facing her future as a human head-on. She’s ran from countless battles because she knew she was only human, playing a part of a god, and Neuvillette knows how tired she is of that act. Neuvillette cares for Furina, so he would want her to be able to protect herself. What makes Furina’s vision more special is the dragon teeth detail, further proving Neuvillette gave her the vision. Furina’s story is the most beautiful and most sorrowful story in all Fontaine, it can be said it’s only justice that Furina’s story gets a happy end, receiving a real vision.
TL;DR I love that it’s suggested that Neuvillette gives Furina her vision and the details that prove it, it’s truly special. It’s the justice that Furina deserves ❤

One can think of the Archons as a battery source, but "some other power", probably Celestia or the like, is the crafter and distributor of the device (vision).
Archons just happen to be a very powerful elemental energy source.

But they do have some hand in it then if it was true
Assuming its final decision is by Celestia or automation, the part remains that Archon is duty bound to share fragments of their power.
So Raiden during that period was no longer interested in fulfiling it, rather taking it away. So she wasnt accepting of sharing her power. So no Electro visions were granted then...
Or because she no longer held onto the Gnosis, it doesnt do the function of separating the user powers.
This explains massively on why Traveller has abilities very similar to the Archons.

I doubt it. From a few lines of Inazuma AQ act 3, and -some text- a voiceline from Raiden's character demo, it seems that Raiden was actually trying to allign with Heavenly Priciples and their ideals. Yae even mocks her about it during their conversation: "Heavenly Principles? Irrelevant nonsense as far as I'm concerned."
The part where it says that Usurper couldnt supress the natural(original) order of this world due to loss of his absolute authority likely refers to some retaliation from the Elemental authorities he took from the Dragon Sovereigns which he couldnt control
"To continue to subdue and control the resentments and loathing of the world, the usurper and the one who came after created Gnoses" - In order to subdue the elemental authorities to his will, he then created the Gnoses, which we now know are highly compatible with elemental energy, you could also say they are a means to contain the elementsl authorities.
But the Gnoses still werent enough to fully supress the authorities, so they had to tie them to specific entities - archons, and as such Celestia incentivized archon war, untill only seven archons remained.
After this the only manifestation of elemental authorities left were visions, which were granted whenever person's ambition was high enough and was coinciding with that of the appropriate archon's ideals. Since Ei's ideals after creating Sakoku and Vision hunt decree were in line with that of Heavenly Principles, no electro visions have been granted during that time period (and we know stasis is something Celestia wants because whenever a nation advances too much technologically, they get Tevyatian version of nuke on their doorstep).

So it’s probably confirmed that Childe has completed his “duty” when it comes to his Vision and that’s why it deactivated.
I wonder what his duty was??
Since his vision deactivated before encountering the All-Devouring Narwhal. Skirk mentions Childe has traces of “it” and decides to take him in as a disciple after that… We also don’t know what that implies but might be connected.
In general I think Childe will play a much greater part in this story as one of its actual most important characters from now on. Especially when name bombs like Surtalogi were dropped by Skirk - I cant wait

it didnt deactivate at all though? like, as shown in the video, we *know* what deactivated visions look like due to Kazuha having Tomo's vision. they are completely empty crystals with no elemental insignia. yes, Childe's vision seemed to malfunction when we met him in Fontaine for the first time, which *is* itself a point of interest, but it never at any point came to look like Tomo's deactivated vision. during the cutscene where Childe's vision 'malfunctions', it actually glows abnormally brightly and then returns to normal, rather than it glowing at a baseline and becoming dull or empty. you can compare his vision before and after the malfunction to see they appear exactly the same. it also appears normally throughout all other scenes, including when the Traveler gives it to the Knave. i agree that the behavior of Childe's vision is of interest and probably plot relevant, but it definitely didnt deactivate or lose power.

It was because a creature of the Abyss was taking him over. He essentially had a whale-shaped parasite growing inside of him (which was why Skirk trained him) and we all know that Abyss creatures aren’t well liked by Celestia. Childe’s body was becoming more Abyss than human when we saw him, so that canceled out him using Hydro powers. If you get eaten by the narwhal during its boss fight, you gotta fight something it’s controlling inside of it... Which is Childe.
He told us to hold on to it for him, so we did. Since we beat up the multidimensional whale and helped him out, he should be able to use it again. Plus, Visions that were taken and put on the statue in Inazuma weren’t glowing either because they were separated from their owners

@@MetaGiga where are we getting the info that the humanoid monster inside of the whale is Childe? what you're saying could make sense but it seems like a theory.
regardless, it doesnt refute that Childe's vision did indeed remain activated. it never became empty like Tomo's did. like i said, the absence of active glowing doesnt mean the vision is deactivated; its not the same thing. we know of a couple reasons why visions glow: 1. when they resonate with elemental energy, and 2. when they resonate with a strong ambition. Childe's vision glowing abnormally *is* new, and therefore notable. but a vision not glowing doesnt really mean anything bc they dont constantly glow. you can see the differences between a vision glowing, not glowing and being deactivated really well in the cutscene where Kazuha parried the Musou no Hitotachi, which was shown in the video. both his anemo vision *and* Tomo's electro vision were glowing very brightly, but after the parry, they both stopped glowing. only Tomo's deactivated completely. Kazuha's vision was still there, it just wasnt actively glowing.
the visions on the Statue of the Omnipresent God *were* activated tho? in the cutscene where the Traveler meets Raiden and rescues Thoma from having his vision confiscated, you can see that the visions inlaid in the statue are colorful. when Itto's vision was confiscated, they also found his vision on the statue, still activated. again, they don't glow constantly. but thats different from deactivation.

You're absolutely right. It was never previously confirmed who came out victorious between the Primordial One and the Second Who Came, we only had an assumption from the scribe of Istaroth in Before Sun and Moon that the Primordial One won. But from Neuvillette's story we see that the Second Who Came actually wounded the Primordial One in battle in such a way that caused them to lose their absolute authority, and the two had to have made a compromise together to create the "new order" that was established. The new order was that humans would "only possess these seven remembrances", and "all fragments of the primordial were driven to devour each other". This very likely refers to the Archon War.
But what would cause the Primordial One and the Second Who Came to work together like that? Perhaps the Third Descender was a common enemy between the two that they had to eradicate to maintain their new order.

The Heavenly Principles are quite a bit like the Greater Will; A being from another world that comes down and takes the title of god, appointing certain rulers/archons after a huge war (war against the giants/archon war). Focalors reminded me of Ranni in the way she worked against that god through underhanded methods. The All-Devouring Narwhal was pretty similar to the Elden Beast visually even though I don't think there was any story connection between them. A vision could be compared to grace, a manifestation of somebody's ambition. Apep implies that the dragonking became something else after obtaining forbidden knowledge. And that Apep tried to fight the corruption of the Abyss in order to save her king from whatever made him mad. Apep is said to have swallowed Deshret after he obtained forbidden knowledge, now the details of this is very vague. But it is possible that the dragonking ordered Apep to swallow Deshret in order to control that power to fight the Heavenly Principles. By now Nibelung knew that nothing they possess stand a chance of winning. However it is also very suspicous that the "Sinner" specifially says creature, implying he is NOT human or never was, he is also not a god, and dragons hated gods. "creature I am no god I am but a sinner" It is not common to use creature unless you see yourself as a different species.

Ei seems to constantly be under restrictions of what she can actually tell us, so might have had a plan for all that power. But when she saw the wishes (her ultimate and constellations seem to all about wishes and desires) of her people she had to rethink what ever the plan was. Which caused the Shogun to go "The fk you think your doing?", that lead the Shogun's programing to into test (I need to check your sure about changing this plan) mode. Which would make sense that Ei is currently going "Okey i need a new plan since this ain't going to work, need a new plan to protect the people"

Aren't vision primitive gnosis so if a vision is a primitive gnosis (this does not mean vision came before the gnosis but that visions are more simplistic and thus weaker versions of the gnosis) whatever snezhnaya is doing with the gnosis is probably what Ei wanted to accomplish using vision and because visions are primitive gnosis it would take multiple visions to grant the same power that 7 gnosis can, also if the gnosis are the remnants of the third descender (at least the hydro gnosis is) the vision are just gnosis without the third descenders remnants or they could be remnants of another descend or maybe the primordial one who might just be a descender itself.

I believe Ei tried to ascend the entire Inazuma into eternity. Yae Miko pointed out that what is the point of doing that if all the humans she govern are no longer human, However I don't think this is the reason Ei decides to abandon her plan it was one of the reasons but not entirely. When Kazuha managed to meet her blade is the only thing that actually surprises Ei in any meaningful regard. This is when she realises that her own people still have spirit and that Inazumas destiny is far from over.

If Furina's Vision was granted by Neuvillette, then that means that control over an elemental Authority Is needed to grant Visions in the first place and since Focalors destroyed Celestia's hold of that Authority by destroying the Hydro Arhon's throne, then he was free of granting It to her.
This may imply that the other thrones need to be destroyed and the Authorities seized for someone to specifically grant Visions

I think the visions force humans into a contract where they gain power in exchange for freedom. The gnoses seem to be a contract between the gods and Celestia, granting them power but also making them subservient, and Skirk referred to them as a "god's curse". A lot of this is reflected in visions, referred to as a type of contract by Zhongli, where a person receives power to pursue a set ambition but immediately locks their fate (constellation) to that ambition. Interestingly though, humans whose visions are taken from them will lose part of their identity and memories (perhaps because the contract is broken?).
As ambition and willpower are able to change the world, perhaps Celestia grants visions to humans so that they won't use that ambition to rebel against the divine but instead maintain the world order. I don't think the vision-holders are granting power to Celestia directly, but instead acting as unknowing enforcers of Celestia's will now that the Primordial One is weakened. They think the gods blessed them, while in reality Celestia locked their fate and forces them to bend to their will. This is probably why Skirk refers to the gnoses as a "curse", the gods are bound by contract to serve Celestia, similar to vision-bearing humans. This is just speculation by the way

    If you listen to "Overture of Storms" - which, is the OST where we fought Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, the lyrics is as follow;
    "Visa caeli,
    Vasum vicit diva
    Visa, vita,
    In satiati vasum vicit diva!"
    If we translated it eloquently, the lyrics is as follows ;
"O [Holder] of the Vision of the Heavens, the vessel hath been defeated.
O Bearer of the Vision of Life, the vessel hath been defeated [in satisfaction]!"
As we know, the Primordial One has Four Shining Shades - one of which includes 'Life'. And strangely, the captured twin is referred as 'vessel' in that OST.
Neuvillette wondered about our special properties, that we could wield elemental powers without Celestial intervention..

Now this reminds me, do you think Tsaritsa is collecting Gnoses to gain all the power to tumble down Celestia or to make Primordial One unable to gain the Original Authority? I believe they also mentioned at one point that every vision holder is also an archon candidate. So the visions could also be a way to keep the archon system itself going, so long as the thrones still exist. It also makes sense to keep people thinking that the only way to have power over the world around them is through the visions granted by Celestia and not through their own power. Granting this equally to all people prevents any competing philosophy or religions from taking hold in the world of Teyvat. The witches and other people we know of, outside of the traveler, who can manipulate powers without visions are all secret or hidden. Outside of them, the only creatures that we see actively manipulate the elements are the hillichurls, which we know used to be people, and they are actively hunted by vision holders. The fact that no public group has ever tried to investigate how they do this in over 500 years is testament to the level of control Celestia has over the people of teyvat through the Archins and the granting of visions.

Theres another possibility though quite a bit darker (maybe too dark for genshin). That the second who came drove the primordial one to a stalemate and demanded concessions and that the third descender was destroyed for the bargain.( to make the gnosis) Another concession be that the primordial one intiate either the archon war or the moon sisters fighting each other (devouring each other?) Nabu malikata was the sole survivor of this action and had to live with what she was forced to do. Time lines probably are out of sync here. Another side note it mentions that the primodial one lost FUNCTIONS which almost assumes that the PO was a construct of a sort, created by another entity. The war of vengeance also could refer to the second who came's attack and not the dragons counter attack. Theres still so much we dont know yet.

There is a loop hole in this theory. In the 4.2 quest, Skirk and Neuvellete mentioned that the gnosis came from the 3rd descend but as all we know, the dragon had the gnosis when they fought the primordial one and the gnosis were taken from them. So who was really the 1st descender?
And another thing is, According to the lore, after the primordial One defeated the sovereign dragons, he then created heaven and earth, this would imply that the Celestia is created by One which is responsible for distributing visions.
According to Venti, vision holder can become an archon. The archon war took place to choose the 7 archon. So as for Neuvellete have the authority to give vision is not clear or just no. Neuvellete gave his gnosis to the fatui adhering the advice of Skirk. Nuevellete no longer has the same power he had when he fought the whale. Weeks or months have passed since then before Furina got her vison.
Furina all this time was holding herself back from her desire. She does not wished to stand on a stage again. But as we saw in her story quest, the traveller created an opportunity for Furina to stand in the stage for one more time.
Furina must have realized something, quite similar to how Noelle got her vision. Noelle got her vision when she was feeling devastated after failing the knight examination for the 7th time but then she saw Jean, she gathered all her resolved to not give up and try again which the gods responded by giving her a vision that same day and time. Failing the same examination for the 7th time is no joke. She must have felt sad and ready to cry and she chose to stood her ground to give her best salute to Jean.
it is kind of the Same thing to how Furina got her Vision while performing in a stage. That unknown aspect and her desire is there.

Speculations are that he’s the sun (god) created by Phanes and/or one of Phanes' shades. In the book Before Sun and Moon it’s said that the Solar Chariot (an actual chariot, a vehicle used by the sun god or/and the sun itself) fell from the sky for unknown reasons and created the Chasm in Liyue on impact ~6000 years ago. It slumbered for an unknown amount of time and reawakened during the Archon War. Depending on the lore it was described that the Chasm miners either repaired the Solar Chariot and it returned to the heavens and/or it (the sun god) was unable to bear the bloodshed of the Archon War and leapt back into the sky. If Zhongli is indeed the Sun God I have reasons to believe that he actually stayed (or descended once more) and won the authority over Geo while trying to bring an end to the war. His quote "I do not wish for dominion but I cannot watch the common folks suffer“ comes to mind. Symbols used for Zhongli besides the Geo one also often depict a sun/star… there are obviously more hints like his burst being a falling star/meteorite and the Chinese name for his burst meaning "heavenly star“ but I can‘t possibly mention them all here.

It‘s likely they fought for several thousand years but I don‘t think he has been an Archon/possessed the authority over Geo for over 6000 years cuz in order to gain the Gnosis and authority he had to be the victor of the Archon War in the first place.

I remember reading a fiction (not about Genshin) somewhere, in which the world is in a cycle. Every once in a while, the world falls into chaos due to various reason. At the same time a being from another world will come (descend), create new order and rebuild the world. There is no time loop, the previous civilizattion just simply fall and leave ruins scatter around the world for the next civilization to study.
Eventually someone figures out about the cycles, and decides to prevent the "descender" from descending, mostly by locate and kill them, to prevent civilization and ruleship reset.
Back to Genshin, I think the Unknown God is the "someone" who figured out about the cycles, and is from 3rd Decender's generation. She is not necessarily a god, maybe just someone with great power or technology. She may (may) have killed a lot of "4th Descender", and since they could not descend so the counter did not go up.
Things changed for the travellers: they are twins and the Unknown God for some reason could not kill them both, and one of the sibbling made it down to Teyvat and become the 4th Descender. Counter went up, clock is ticking, the world is going to fall soon. Since killing the Descender now is meaningless, maybe she sent Paimon to overwatch the Descender.

Honestly with every lore bomb that drops it makes me more and more curious about the backstory of zhongli specifically. For the rest of the archons so far, we're shown how they came to be and how they are currently being in the present. Zhongli's a freaking enigma. We've barely had any information about his past and even when we do, it doesn't exactly paint a clear picture. Considering he's not only the oldest of the seven but could also be as old as teyvat itself (wei' theory), it really itches my brain trying to think of what he's been keeping from us. Also at first i pretty much put aside being the god of contracts. I mean yeah sure contract, order, etc. But now it's becoming more and more apparent how frightfully powerful that is. A vision is a contract as he himself said. He literally has the power to demand and turn the tides ( unless he already has). It's also piqued my curiosity after hearing Neuvillette's voicelines about the archons. He obviously shows hostility towards the og three, but for zhongli specifically, it sounds like he's just about ready to throw hands. If anything it seems like he expects it. I'm really curious now more than and ever ngl. And as always thanks for the wonderful video!

With Zhongli we have a lot of lore about the Guili Assembly, the Adepti, Liyue's prehistory and his role prior to and during Liyue's creation. Inazuma's prehistory is nonexistent, as it existed as a nation prior to the Archon War. We have no records of when exactly it was created or when Ei and Makoto started ruling it. His birth isn't stated, but his identity as the leader of the Adepti and the Guili Assembly means we have some information about what he did before the Archon war, even if it's vague.
I just wanted to point out that Ei and Inazuma's origin is even more vague, since you brought up the other gods. Venti, Nahida and Furina's origins are clearly explored, but Zhongli's origin as an adeptus is kinda mysterious, while Ei and Inazuma have no origin (as it's an unchanging, eternal nation). The original Archons are the most mysterious.
The Liyue people think that the Adepti come from Zhongli himself or Celestia, and this would make sense in light of Neuvilette's reveal that Egeria was created by Celestia in some way. Besides, the descenders don't use elemental energy (except for the MC) and they created Celestia.
So if Neuvilette's statement that Egeria was created by Celestia applies to the other Archons too, then Zhongli would be a creation of the descenders and not a descender himself. Seeing how the Archons are basically Sovereigns under Celestia's control, and Neuvilette mentioned that the gnoses and visions are a way to maintain world order, the Archons were possibly created by Celestia for that purpose. Actually Hoyo always drops important lore in world-quests and even in places with no quests at all, like the Khaenri'ah/Abyss language murals in random spots in the world. So this is very important information, since looking it up, Heimarmene is a irl god of Fate, and since Visions are related to fate and it is said it bounds you to fate, it's fair to assume this Heimarmene is the one responsible for the Visions.
As for the Dream, that part is also important since it was revealed in the quest that people with strong enough dreams and wills have the power to influence the world simply with their strong willpower, like oceaninds creating things from their imagination and Rene/Narzissenkreuz becoming what he was due ot his own will. And it was also implied that Traveller has a strong enough will to change the fate of the entire world, which probably ties back to the Loom of Fate

@@Kenken-iq4liseems you misunderstand, no i did not imply the gods and archons need the power of the dragons to use the elements. They can control the elements, just not to the extent of having complete control over them, like how Egeria with the gnosis couldn't turn her Oceanids into true humans, but only partially.
What sets the archons from other gods however, is having the authority over their element (see Neuvillette's voice-over on Electro Archon), but as mentioned before, only partial

Another reason to why i believe that Neuvillette is the one who gave Furina her vison is, In one of Neuvillette's dialogue when we asked him about the future of Fontaine. He told us that he has now control of Pneuma and ousia, now we all know that furina have a unique vision casing compared to other fontainians.
But whats more unique is that she can switch to Pneuma and ousia at will. Also if you C6 her you'll see a different tinge of color on her hydro imbued attacks it looks like the color of the primordial sea. Another wierd thing, is the splashes of water created by her take the shape of a dragon if you noticed it.
Or maybe im just overthinking things LMAO

In a sense, Nevuillette doesn't need a divine hydro throne in celestia since he already is both the God and the throne itself given that all of the divine power belonged to him in the first place.
Tbh I'm glad that Teyvat as a whole is slowly pushing back against Celestia as Celestia doesn't seem to be doing anything except ensure they stay in power. If we are to believe that Celestia was established by the first descender, they don't even come from Teyvat in the first place so idk what made them think they can just casually take control of the planet.
I also cannot wait for the rematch against the sustainer of the heavenly principles.

What I like is that You didn't just take some random guesses like most people with their theories and that's why it sounds pretty logical. I expected it to be too far fetched, but the thumbnail and title sounded like it might be interesting. I am glad I clicked on the video, because IMO it's one of the best theories made in Genshin. Though I would still say that some parts would likely change, but it's normal. We lack key informations so we can only fill the gaps in between with guesses. Thanks for sharing this interesting theory. I like the part of Kazuha's friend the most. I hope the lit of the electro vision wasn't just cool plot device made by miHoYo and it was actually important event.

Alternatively… what happens when you collect all the remains of the third descender? Is there something special that could happen? Why were they split in such a way, and each piece given to some of the most powerful people on Teyvat (some in physicality - Ei, Zhongli, some in wisdom - Nahida). We know they can summon the heavenly principles if you break them, perhaps it really is the celestial Gods’ power source, would explain why they were split and given to powerful people.

I think with Furina's and Neuvillette's case is different. Neuvillette has regain his control over all of the hydro elements, and the Hydro Archon throne is no more, therefore there is no gods for Celestia to take power from and transfer it to make a vision. and Neuvillette now has full control over who to give his power to.
In conclusion, because Neuvillette is the Hydro Dragon Sovereign, he has more complete control over the gift of visions without the need for Celestia.

It could go either way. I'm not sure Celestia will mind as much. As far as we know, as far as the systems in place are concerned Neuvillette is functionally an archon. He's setting aside power for the visions, and tending all known archon duties, so its possible either Celestia knows and doesn't care because he's "playing ball" or Celestia doesn't know because he fit himself into the system thus nothing is missing for her to notice.
I'd also like to note that Celestia's punishments seem to be "here's this long term bad thing to deal with" which might just have a looming dredge for ages until the thing actually shows up. Or an eternal curse. If its the former, we may never see it actually happen.

My theory regarding visions is that Neuvillete can now grant hydro visions since he has absolute authority unlike the archons or the soveryns…. Celestia hands visions for the archons because the archons don’t have full authority
(Otherwise Focalors wouldn’t need to die in order to prevent the flood and would merely do what Neuvillete did)
