  • In this video I am introducing a guitar I've been working on and finally finishing it and playing it for the first time! The X-shape is one of my favorite shapes and I took a Jackson Warrior and made some slight tweaks to make it my own!
This guitar started out as a basswoof body blank, then I glued on a poplar burl top. From there I cut it out, shaped it, routed everything out, did some body carving, etc. etc. and then everything you see in this video.
I'm really stoked on how this guitar turned out and I think it sounds awesome! It plays great too!
    Components:
    Gotoh Hardtail Bridge
    Gotoh Locking Tuners
    Seymout Duncan Nazgul pickups
    Stewmac 500k volume pot
    Metal dome knob
    Barrel input jack
Hope you enjoy this video and the song at the end! So what do you think of this guitar?!?

Looks great! Kelly's and Explorers have always been my favorite body visually, but I have yet to find a style that plays better sitting or standing than a Warrior and they are a close second visually.

For real the warrior shape is crazy comfortable! I really like the KellyStar! Would be stoked to get one of those
