It's fine once my sister cried at a funeral for my friend's grandma even though she didn't even know her grandma ,we were just there to comfort her family and pray for them and she cried more than the family did .

A few months ago I decided to try out for my high school's play for this year, The Addams Family. It's my junior year, so I wanted to do something more than just marching band. In the tryouts, we have to sing a song from a Broadway musical. My first thought was Phantom of the Opera. I wasn't sure which song to pick at first (because they are all glorious) and my best friend suggested this song because it isn't one of the most memorable from the play. THIS VIDEO was the video I searched up and practiced with for a whole month in preparation for my audition. After an issue of stage fright, I was finally able to get up there and sing, and I did surprisingly fantastical. I didn't get a part, unfortunately, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH because this video was my saving grace for those auditions. Thanks! :)
This song means do much to me. My wife, best friend, soul mate, my world of 30 years, walked out of my life 2 years ago without any explanation. I have not heard from her since then. I would have died for her, but I guess it was not enough. I get that funny feeling and try not to cry when I hear this. We saw the Phantom 8 times together. All I can say is "Wishing You Were Here Again".

My grandpa died 7 years ago last night from cancer. This song is so special to me. For one, my grandpa loved musicals and this was the one that he got to see live and that stole his heart. Plus the words are straight from my heart as if I myself wrote them this is what I would say.

I think I have to sing this for an audition. I know it's a song from Phantom of the Opera (my teacher chose the songs for us depending on what she felt suited our voices) and this is the only female solo I found so...
It sounds kind of difficult aah...like, I can hit the high notes no problem but it is a teensy bit jumpy along the scales at times, to my ear at least, though I've only listened it through once in my life...welp, here's hoping it goes right! (And that this is the one I'm singing, I quite like it)

Did you do your audition yet?
Yeah...could have been better. I was ill and my stomach hurt so much that having to do the dance part of the audition was hell. (and the teacher was pissed off that I used a song he hadn't chosen to dance to) but the singing portion went well! I was really loud...but the important thing is I didn't screw up! (my backing track did though, it looped at the end and I couldn't find a track that had music over the last line so the intro was playing to the last line and god damn it why?)

This makes me think of my nanny from back when I was younger. She was the mother of a family friend; her name was Enelda, though we kids called her 'Bita 'Da. Her 1st anniversary of her death is today, I believe. Honestly, if anyone deserves heaven, it's her. She was so sweet and loving and never was selfish. She was also the person responsible for our early exposure to Spanish. We all miss you, Abuelita Enelda! RIP.
