Great interview - always enjoy listening to the perspective of Lewis Black in any form or fashion! Attended the "Rant is Due" Show at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas, last night, and, of course, I was thoroughly entertained! By nature, my laughs are not the demonstrative kind; however, to have me chuckling so much that I had knots in my stomach at times speaks volumes! Lewis' outraged persona was slightly more toned down than what I expected and am used to witnessing; nevertheless, I could have stayed in the theatre listening to this gifted commentator's wittingly satirical and enlightening rants all night long! Fan for life! :)
EVERYONE should send Rush Limbaugh an e-mail stating "You disgust me".

I rate Lewis, as although he's always perpetually seemingly pissed off, he's totally authentic. At the end of this, he seems to be reconcilling with himself re why the anger etc, which is a good thing.

The interviewer speaks of the "culture of outrage", but it's common term (if you want to do some research behind why people are trolls) is the "hostile media effect".
This man is an american George Carlin. And this is a great compliment . He just let's it flow and it is so good
George Carlin was about as American as it gets. Born in NY State, NY County and NYC ;)

Michelle Schmidt I didn't have any kind of phone for years and it made friends head explode"how will i get ahold of you?" well you know where i live and are welcome to stop by or mail me a letter or leave a note on my front door if i am not home when you stop by. Magically people who wanted to found me everytime. I hate my cell phone and when my other family member is home they both go off and thrown on the desk and forgotten until we have to leave the home separately again.
Don't you hate it when people are crossing the street on a red light, and they are completely oblivious to their surroundings because they are looking down at their phones.

I miss the days when cell phones were too expensive for anyone but business men who could get their company to pay for the thing. All the soccer mommies HAVE NOTHING TO SAY!
