Wow! You are becoming a fantastic plein air painter! Making all those believable greens is a feat in itself! That painting with so much: rocks; waterfall; water; trees; bushes…It seems very challenging to me but you did an amazing painting and in record time…even with having to move around a bit! You should be so proud…soon your name will be so familiar and your painting expertise will be in such demand, you won’t have time to do these videos! I am so happy you are sharing your painting experiences with us now. Thank you.😊 I hope your sunburned arms were not too painful…🤞
Awww 🥰 thank you Nancy 😊 this is so sweet of you!!! Oh no, not proud, thankful to God 😊 I think I will always make time for the videos, however hopefully I will be able to make it my livelihood so I no longer have to work in a grocery store to fund all this. I'm so glad you enjoy my videos 😊 the sunburn was actually ok the next day 😂 I was quite tanned by the end of the trip.
Lovely painting! Really amazed at how you can stay out there for six hours and stick with the concentration that it takes to complete a painting with all those details. Nice work!😅
@@Irwin542 thank you so much 😊 I think the longest I've spent was 9 hours and it was a really windy day, but sometimes I've done 12 hour painting days but usually that's multiple paintings so I get a driving break 😊
Excellent video again, as always!! It was a HUGE moment to see when you were kind of fighting with the rocks, then BOOM, dropped in those waterfalls!! I also love how easy you make them sound to make. Makes me want to give it a try sometime. This may sound like a stupid question, but aren't we supposed to be having opposite seasons from each other, in the opposite hemispheres? It sounds like you're in summer just like we are. The contrasting textures in your finished painting work really well, and the waterfalls make a great center of interest! Amazing as always!!
@@DQ_ArtGroupie Thank you so much 😊 yeah waterfalls are awesome! You should give it a try you will be amazed how easy it is 😊 no you're totally right 😂 it's the middle of winter here and super cold 38 days left till spring but these are still videos from my big road trip at the beginning of the year 😂 I don't paint in winter I hibernate and make voice overs for videos filmed in the warmer months. Thank you so much I'm pretty happy with the variety I got in the plants, it was a lovely little spot to paint!
Oh wow they just get better and better!…you’ve inspired me to move forward my plain air painting equipment purchases. Next weekend I’m spending a fortune at clipboard art supplies!!… hopefully your sunburn was bearable the next day… ouch !
@hamishmorgan100 oh how exciting!! And thank you 😊 with spring just around the corner! yeah actually surprisingly I was fine the next day even though I look very burnt in this video 🤣

I'm up there all the time and have loads of photos of the area. The flowers on the left are proteas.
@@sallythompson9267 oh how lovely, it is a great spot! Thanks for the name of the flowers I really love those ones! 😊
Wow. That is such a beautiful view.... great job as usual. Pity poor turquoise is still on the outer.
