Thanks for your take on EBC80! I've paired the ASOS X+ with Quattro's 😍. I have the H60, and it's an amazing-sounding iem, just a bit on the energetic side for long-term listening.
Hi Tony, any chance you compare the Mirai Shock vs. the EBC80? Both have BC drivers and if you already have the Mirai Shock, can you still justify getting the ECB80? Thank you again.
So how would you describe EBC80 in comparison, especially BC effects, layering, separation and microdetalis? Currently debating whether it's worth the extra 100 bucks over Bajie. I am aware that Bajie with EQ has god-tier bass, but I'm also interested in those things I mentioned.
@@AntonYadrov777 Tangzu Bajie is really magic in acustic guitar as Nils Lofgren Keith dont go. EBC80 gets even more versitile as the midbass get better impact and gives better kickdrums and more body on piano, EBC80 make you smile even at songs like Catalunya. Bajie more relaxed, on Bajie you want the harder Sancai widebore to transfer the vibration of the BC to get that special sauce, like with Pula Anvil, but the EBC80 i end up with Azla soft silicon that dampen the 2 BC. I use Xduoo xd05t tubeamp on both, but if i put the EBC80 on Topping D50 iii/ A50 iii , and the Bajie on the Xduoo xd05t they get closer in sound characteristics. Next Step for me is to compare them on my Hiby FD5 but need some time... Easy to get stuck on the EBC80 at moment, its really good.
@@MrBlackJava so more or less as I estimated in overall tonality. But what about microdetails and layering specifically, is EBC80 a bit better? Which Azlas are you using, sednaearfit origin? Also, have you tried penon LS tips and whizzer ss20? People say they work pretty well for EBC80's BC effect.
@@MrBlackJava so I ended up ordering EBC80 from Penon. They promised 18 month warranty and full size LS tips set as an anniversary gift. Fingers crossed.
Hello, I have the KZ Castor (both the silver and black version) do you have any recommendations for ear tips and cables? They take a 0.75mm cable, not sure what would be the best option
I recently got the EBC80 as with H2 cable as well, Fffffantastic IEM and my personal end game. A defenite improvement to my H60. Super natural sounding midrange, emotional, expansive soundstage. Great well extended detailed yet non fatiguing treble? Yes! Awesome low end? You got it. It’s a complete package and sounds like over ear headphones rather than an iem. The only „downside” may be to some that the bass is a bit more tame if compared directly to H60. It is better controlled and hitting on point. H60 feels more like a teen spirit, while EBC80 is an established man. I’m now thinking of selling the H60 and getting the Serial/Quattro as an all DD experience and just be done with collecting iem for a year or more. ( If that is even possible 😂 ) And I agree with Tony the new LS tips are fantastic. On par with spinfit w1, but are less v shaped sonically and isolate better. The Divinus wide bore are the second best on EBC80.
end game... until the next end game will came out in few months. EBC80 will be forgotten in few months... as happened to the TANSIO MIRAI Shock. Reviewers have to create hype on all new stuff and you guys are falling for it. I'm not talking about akros but about hype creators that are working for penon on that famous forum.
@ Penon iems ( Penon owns ISN ) Are not to be judged by graphs alone. Trust me You need to hear them to evaluate properly. I’m not sure what wizardry they are doing but it all just works. To me the vocals are great, but you may have to do some tip rolling as each ear anatomy is slightly different. My first Penon Iem was Fan3 and if I’d see it’s graph first I’d say that it would sound shouty and maybe bright, but boy oh boy would I be wrong. EBC is masterfully tuned, it has a fun/musical factor as well as great clarity and technicalities. It was a bit of a leap of faith to me to spend 700$ without hearing them first. But I have no regrets. Fantastic set. I like it best with PENON LS tips. Btw I listen from a shanling dongle ua3 with akm chips. Waitting ages for my fiio btr 17 to arrive to test it on sabre dacs.
Great i have been waiting for the EBC80 and 3001BD review

It is necessary to illuminate the lower segments, up to 200 USD.
hey tony, i got a question i can't really find a answer for...on the isn "h60", is the 2 dynamic drivers a "isoberic" (fake isoberic) configuration..?
Yee i love my Bajie, i ordered the EBC80 with S2 but it hasent reached my door yet.

Man the EBC80 is so awesome! Loving it so much ! 🤯
great review as always Tony. How the EBC80 compare to the Aful Cantor? Which has more technical performance?

Is the ebc80 more comfortable than the h60? That is really uncomfortable for me and is it an improvement on the mest mk2?
What is the link to the pen on tips
Bajie is Nejha with tack bass..😉

is ebc80 good for treble sensitive ? im pretty sensitive.

The EST drivers are very well implemented :)
