RIP Kenneth Williams the King of JAM.
HNY. Thanks for your continued uploads of JAM 😎👍
Right Happy New Year in real life, (as in 2023), goodbye 1970's, hello 1980's.
❤Peter Cook & Tim Rice 🎉
[& Lorraine too😊]
Stereo recording?
2 1/4 Hours without a single swear-word.
What's wrong with swear words? They make life interesting in promoting counter-swearing which thereby attracts audience participation. This is the basis of a true democracy
Again! At 1:26 Nicholas says 'it was two seconds'. Check your youtube clock and see it isn't even one second.
Third serial in this sounds a little slow
Lorraine chase was fun
That she was. It wouldve been cool to have her and Aimi.MacDonald on at the same time.
Its great to hear from Tim Rice, who wpuld have thought a famous lyricist would become associated with this program for so many years
'A good challenge, buy it doesnt get you a point'
Nevermind that he would eventually give bonus points for having a face.
1:26:00 - Clement was damned close in his prediction!
But not quite since it was more like 40 years.
@@GROMIT9 'close' - close.
@@Omnicient. 1980-2020 means Clement was only 5 years off his prediction!
2:01:31. 'Im here to.play games not tell anecdotes dear'
Kenneth wanted to share his anecdote ealrier and it was Nick that said their primary purpose to.play Just a Minute and not listen to Kens stories about Orson Welles. And then when Nick demands that Ken finish the story, Ken turns jt right around in Nick and tells him to stick it, he was interrupted by derek so hes not gonna finish the story just for Nicks benefit.
2:01:03. 'I was waiting for him to get around to me'
Theres a humble chairman for you, not the least bit interest in any sort of flattery or ego stroking without any vanity whatsoever... yeah right
Wherez episode 3 for this series?
1:56:52. Good god, thr moment when Nicholas' patience for.Kenneth BS is finally exhausted.
Patricks final sppearance spunds like its on at the wrong speed or thr pitch is off, cuz everyone sounds bored.
23:59. 'Im trying to be accurate'
When thr hell has accuracy ever been a factor in this show?
The Lorraine Chase episode is one i remember coming across when i first heard about this show. Its a shame this was her only appearance, i think she shpuld have appeared at least two or three more times.
Its also the one time where Kenneth didnt pull his usual abusive sexist shenanigans. Although it did seem like for once thenusual remit of having a woman on the panel to be the stooge so the chaps can get laughs actually paid off, especially in the round on 'snuggling'.
1:38:22. Good lord Kenneth is such a liar, "i dont like to show off, im not the sort to.do that sort of thing"
Excuse me while i call bullshit.
